【Fire Arrow】

"Goobubububu!"

The magic arrow I released felled the monster.

【Wind Arrow】

"Kobobobobobo!"

Monsters spawned where I was heading to collect magic stones, so I took them down with magic.

"As Salome said, hunting from midnight to early morning is good because it’s less crowded."

It has been three days since I started visiting the third floor. I decided to hunt here until I learned the skill "Wall," but there was one problem.

The third floor is popular because it’s less dangerous due to the presence of many other adventurers. However, this popularity leads to the downside of competing for prey.

However, thanks to Salome, who told me, "Adventurers who stay on the third floor go in the morning and return in the evening, so it’s relatively empty if you shift your time," this downside was resolved.

Believing her words, I came in the middle of the night, and there were indeed fewer adventurers hunting from midnight to early morning. The reason it gets crowded is because parties that want to hunt safely are around, and people with such thoughts don’t come out during the less crowded hours.

Salome, who handles the reception, understands the situation of adventurers entering and exiting the dungeon and told me about the less crowded times.

Parties that go in at night seem to be quite skilled, dealing with multiple spawning monsters without panicking.

I can also kill with magic, so I’ve been hunting by taking down monsters as they spawn, collecting magic stones, and then casting spells on nearby monsters. Thanks to this, I’ve been able to hunt to my heart’s content, and my level has been rising steadily.

"Whoa!"

I couldn’t help but exclaim when I opened the status screen.

The skill acquisition list for the mage had added "Wall," "Burst," and "Magic Concentration."

"Looks like I can max them out to level 6."

Since they were marked with "★★★★★★," I decided to max out all three newly available skills to level 6.

"...I expected it, but the skill points required have increased."

Compared to the skills that were initially available, the new skills, which are more effective, require more skill points.

Just to max out "Wall" to level 6, I used 27 skill points. If more useful skills become available in the future, the required points might increase even more. I kept this in mind.

"My skills are really starting to flesh out."

Being able to immediately level up skills as soon as I acquire them is one of my strengths.

Probably, the condition for unlocking the three new skills was reaching Mage Level 25.

I’ve been checking the status screen frequently, so I noticed the changes. To confirm, I could easily level up a Warrior to level 25. If skills like "Concentration," which Yugo has, appear, it would be a definite confirmation.

"What should I do with my status points...?"

For the past few days, I’ve been holding off on allocating status points.

I’ve already allocated enough to get my luck over 100, but I’m still thinking about the others. This is because...

"At this stage, my magic power hasn’t caught up to Mina’s."

She has been an adventurer for a year longer than me, so it’s natural. However, the adventurer rank of Yugo’s party, including her, is D.

I’m not saying they are weak, but Walter and his team are B rank. They are likely to have better stats than Yugo’s team.

"Should I specialize or balance?"

What I’m currently struggling with is how to allocate my status points.

At this stage, magic is my main focus in hunting, so I want to increase my magic power.

However, there are layers where weapons are more effective than magic.

If I suddenly need to allocate points to strength, it might be too late.

It would be ideal to gradually surpass everyone in all stats, but there are only about two weeks left until my match with Walter.

I also considered prioritizing other classes, but that would mean losing the mage’s class bonuses.

With too many options, my head is getting confused.

"Maybe I should take a break and go back for now..."

Standing in the dungeon and thinking about this isn’t good.

I’m also tired from hunting all night, so I decided to return for a while.
