Chapter 26

"Hey, I've reached level 25."

It's been two days since I changed my job, and I successfully raised my Priest level to 25.

"Sure enough, the fourth floor is great. I was able to level up faster than before."

It took me three days on the third floor to raise my Mage level to 25 last week. Even then, it was a continuation from where I had left off, so raising a Priest from level 1 to 25 in just two days is an abnormal speed.

"Anyway, it seems that level 25 is the condition to unlock new skills."

When I checked the Priest's unacquired skills, 'High Healing,' 'Safety Wall,' 'Speed Up,' and 'Stamina Up' were added.

I acquired all of them and raised their skill levels to 6.

"Next, I need to check the status points I haven't allocated yet, but there's something I need to confirm before changing jobs."

I looked at the 'Magic' stat. It currently stands at 223, the highest number among my stats.

When I tried to increase it, it went up to 224...

"As expected, the status points decreased by 3."

The status points decreased from 293 to 290.

I think the rule is that up to 100, 1 point is needed per increase; from 101 to 200, 2 points are needed; and from 201 to 300, 3 points are needed.

"Then, the most efficient way to allocate points is to first allocate them to the stats that don't increase when you level up in that job."

When you level up, the numbers for each stat also increase, but the stats required for that job increase by 3, and the next most important stats increase by 2.

For the jobs I've changed to so far:

For a Mage, Magic increases by 3, Spirit and Dexterity by 2, and Luck occasionally by 1.

For a Priest, Spirit increases by 3, Magic and Dexterity by 2, and Luck occasionally by 1.

For a Warrior, Strength increases by 3, Agility and Vitality by 2, and Luck occasionally by 1.

This is how the increases work.

"Then, I should check what happens if I level up in another job before allocating points."

To avoid leveling up too quickly, I moved to the first floor and changed jobs in the order of Scout, Merchant, and Loafer.

When I defeated a Goblin and raised each job to level 2, the stats increased as follows:

For a Scout, Agility increases by 3, Vitality and Dexterity by 2, and Luck occasionally by 1.

For a Merchant, Vitality increases by 3, Strength and Luck by 2.

For a Loafer, Luck increases by 10.

My current stats are: Strength 121, Agility 105, Vitality 107, Magic 224, Spirit 202, Dexterity 171, and Luck 128.

The allocatable status points increased to 320.

"Loafer... Only Luck increases..."

I wonder why this job exists.

"By the way, I heard from Salome that the Drop Box might appear based on the total Luck of the party."

The other day, I heard from Salome that the Drop Box doesn't appear when soloing, which might simply be due to a lack of Luck.

From what I saw of Yugo's stats, his Luck wasn't much different from mine, so I think the Drop Box might appear based on the total Luck of the party.

If this hypothesis is wrong, the Drop Box won't appear unless I form a party, so I'll need to think of another strategy.

"There's no need to rush, as the answer will come soon..."

After all, I already have the optimal answer for the next job change.

"Raise Luck to 200, then change to Loafer. There, get status points and raise each stat to 200 while changing to jobs that increase those stats."

This is the most efficient method.

For Loafer to Merchant, allocate 72 points to Luck, 93 to Vitality, and 79 to Strength, then change jobs. This requires 488 points. With 320 points currently, I can cover it by reaching Loafer level 19.

For Loafer to Scout, allocate 72 points to Luck, 95 to Agility, 93 to Vitality, and 29 to Dexterity. This requires 434 points, so I can change jobs at Loafer level 14.

Either way, my Luck will increase, allowing me to test the hypothesis I've been thinking about.

If the Drop Box drops while leveling up, it's due to the total Luck. If it doesn't drop, it's because I'm not in a party.

"Alright, that's enough for now."

I acquired the skills and allocated the stats.
