"Well, what should I do?"
I stood there, looking down at the motionless teleportation magic circle, thinking.
The fact that the teleportation magic circle isn't working means I can't return to my country. In other words, I can't report the destruction of the evil god, nor can I meet Alicia and get scolded by her.
"I guess I have no choice but to get out of here, right?"
On the side where the evil god's altar was, there were treasures placed. But on the opposite side, far away, I could see a door.
The presence of a door means it leads somewhere.
"There's no point in staying here, so I'll go."
After all, I came here to be a sacrifice to the evil god. I don't have any food. If I stay here, I'll starve to death.
I took the divine sword Volmunk in my hand and opened the door.
"Still, this is a long corridor, but I haven't encountered anyone."
I thought there would be some terrifying monsters, but there's no sign of any living creatures.
"I can't find any food no matter how far I go."
Perhaps because it looked like a skeleton, it didn't need to eat?
But if it wanted sacrifices, it must have intended to eat them, right?
Even if I ate, it would probably just make the flesh fall off the bones. There's no point in thinking more about the evil god's biology.
"Well, the next room is..."
I've collected various treasures on my way here. The evil god seems to be a collector of magical artifacts; I found many powerful swords and spears.
The [Stock] function also provides descriptions of the items, so I can easily see which ones are useful.
"I wonder if I'll find a piece of bread soon..."
But what I really need is food. Even if I sell the high-rarity equipment, it won't do me any good if I can't bring it back safely. I entered the room with hope...
"What? A magic circle?"
It was a room with a white glowing magic circle.
I felt something warm and comforting along with the gentle light.
"It doesn't seem to be a teleportation magic circle... but I feel a pleasant aura."
I stepped onto the magic circle as if being drawn in.
"What is this! The fatigue is disappearing. And it feels so good!"
The magic circle's glow intensified as I stepped on it. It completely refreshed me, from the physical tiredness of walking to the mental fatigue. Moreover, the injuries I had sustained without noticing during my confrontation with the evil god were also healed.
"Could this be the magic circle from the legendary dungeon?"
It's the same magic circle that exists in the room just before the final boss in the legendary dungeon from a novel. It has the effect of completely restoring health and magic power, and in the story, the hero's party would fully recover here before challenging the boss.
It's not surprising that such a place exists where the evil god is. At any rate, my depressed mood has been revived, and the sweat that made me feel sticky is gone, leaving me feeling refreshed.
"With this, I can still keep going."
There's nothing particularly notable in this room. I was about to leave and head to the next one, but...
"Wait a minute?"
I stared at the magic circle, thinking for a moment. Then...
"What if I do this?"
I stepped onto the magic circle again. And at the moment it glowed...
"[Stock]"
I tried to stock the healing power.
"Wow! It really worked!"
The magical light that instantly heals health, magic power, and even injuries. With this, I'll be fine even if I get injured in the future.
"I might as well stock up as much as I can..."
If I get tired, I can just recover. It seems that this magic circle can even alleviate my hunger.
With this, I won't starve to death. I decided to spend some time here, stockpiling the healing magic.
"Let's see... I've been at this for about three days straight, I think."
After a while, I just kept watching the numbers in the stock increase.
Since the magic circle activates as long as I stay on it, I sometimes slept while continuing to accumulate the number of uses. As a result...
I looked at the [Stock] section of my status screen. There, I saw—
• Perfect Heal × 99999
"Maybe I overdid it a bit?"
I had stockpiled so many Perfect Heals that I could never use them all in a lifetime.
