After Lu Chengye’s leg was recovered, Zhang Hang resumed his original life. He got up early every morning and exercised in the familiar environment. Lu Chengye had confirmed that Zhang Hang’s figure was even better than that of five years ago. He had the body type where he seemed slender when clothed but toned when undressed, and when he shed his clothes the seemingly elegant body was actually full of strength. On the other hand, since Lu Chengye had been recuperating from an injury, his own body had become somewhat soft and some of his muscles had become fat. So he worked out with Zhang Hang as well.
There was a fitness room in the basement of Lu Chengye’s house. It was safer to work out there instead of going to the gym or exercising outside, because there would never be dangers of a car crash or other collisions. Zhang Hang worked out in the fitness room for more than an hour in both the morning and evening. When Lu Chengye discovered that he was slightly physically inferior to Zhang Hang, he no longer worked out with him, instead waiting until Zhang Hang went out for the day to secretly exercise. He planned to surprise him one day, then compare their strength.
And so, Zhang Hang’s life gradually returned to normal. If there were no problems with the company, he usually read at home in the morning. Of course, before Zhang Hang used to “read” books on his own. Now, Lu Chengye was reading them to him. Most of the books Zhang Hang read during the day were about finance, law, or other professional subjects. At night, he would read some literature to cultivate his taste.
In the afternoon, Zhang Hang would attend a German class in Beijing to learn German. He was fluent in English and had a good command of professional words pertaining to finance and law. However, Zhang Hang believed that learning should be diversified, and was not content with knowing only one language. German, French, Japanese, Korean… he wanted to be fluent in many languages. The more he learned, the better. Zhang Hang was a person who truly put into practice the idea that one was never too old to learn.
Zhang Hang kept his habit of going to the bar twice a week in the evening to mix drinks. Previously, he didn’t go to the bar for a while because he was busy taking care of Lu Chengye. Recently, however, Zhang Hang had changed the number of times he went to the bar to three or four times a week, and was often not at home at night.
Lu Chengye wanted to go to the bar with Zhang Hang, but Zhang Hang wouldn’t let him.
“There are too many people with ulterior motives in the bar, if you went…” He gave a loving smile and pinched Lu Chengye’s face. “I don’t care if you make trouble, but I’m afraid the security guard will not be able to resist beating you up. After all, I’m not alone in the bar. There are many bartenders who rely on working at the bar to make a living. If they perform poorly and the bar has to close, I will feel very sorry for them.”
Lu Chengye: “…….”
He felt profoundly rejected, but if he really did go to the bar and saw Zhang Hang gently smiling and chatting with so many people who harbored untoward intentions towards him, he was afraid he might be unable to resist smashing the place.
Still, what the eye didn’t see, the heart didn’t grieve over… but he really wanted the bar to close down!
Thankfully, Lu Chengye was a very cool-headed man. He just endured the discomfort, and knew Zhang Hang had to go to the bar. After all, bear: *screams*
