“Wow…”
I looked at the stats and couldn’t help but look up to the sky.
Where should I start? Should I go through them in order?
The 4-piece set is as I heard, so there’s not much to say about that. You wear it as a set and take it off as a set.
There’s also not much to say about the rarity being Named - PM.
This is simply proof that it is a production weapon not only using Named materials but also utilizing the 《Soul》.
The issue is the armor stats.
The iron plate armor + α combination I had been using was, in fact, mostly dependent on the chain mail for its defense.
Combined, it provided +20 defense.
The gauntlets and greaves gave a slight boost to dexterity and agility, but the increase was less than one level, so it didn’t matter much.
Now, regarding the defense of the 《Red Wolf Armor Set》.
+50 for the set. Let me repeat, +50.
In other words, it boasts more than twice the defense of my previous equipment without using any metal.
At this point, it’s already quite incomprehensible, but +50 agility is even more so.
This is roughly equivalent to a bonus of 10 levels in stat points.
In terms of pure level-up values, it’s about 40 for the 《Ogre Race》 and 50 for the human race. It’s literally an order of magnitude higher.
“Well, how about it? This is the first time I’ve made Named rarity armor, so I was surprised by its performance. More than that, all the previous Named hunters made weapons, so the performance of armor was unknown.”
It exceeded my imagination.
It wasn’t just me; it seems that Konekomaru felt the same way.
Even though I’m not a production class, Konekomaru, who plays as an equipment producer, said this, so my feelings are probably not off.
“Just how powerful is this equipment in practice?”
“Top-tier players who have custom-made equipment can have over 60 defense even as a light warrior like you. However, I’ve never seen equipment with such a high agility bonus. Moreover, it has a Named Skill.”
“Oh… I haven’t checked the skill yet.”
“Tap the skill to see the details.”
---
《Wolf King Sprint》
Named Skill
No one can stop the one who inherits the will of the red wolf.
• Gain resistance to agility reduction (Huge).
* This skill is always active.
---
“Resistance to agility reduction…?”
“It can be a countermeasure against debuff-type enemies.”
“Considering that equipment with resistance tends to have moderate performance, I don’t think it’s bad. However, there aren’t many enemies that apply agility reduction debuffs…”
That’s true, I thought.
Even in the old RPGs I played with Rin, the basics of buffs and debuffs are attack and defense.
Speed-related buffs are a strategic consideration, but they are of lower importance.
And in most cases, a reduced ability can be offset by increasing it.
Still, for me, who needs mobility, it’s a welcome resistance.
“Still, with high defense, a broken-level agility bonus, and resistance, it’s a well-rounded setup. I believe I’ve made something that meets your standards.”
“Yes! It looks great, and the agility bonus is especially good!”
“I’m glad you like it. By the way, as a basic property of cloth equipment, it is weak against fire and slashing attributes but strong against water and blunt attributes. Although it seems this equipment doesn’t get lost, it still has durability, so be careful.”
“Such a setting exists…”
The resistance Konekomaru mentioned seems to be related to durability. Cloth is weak to fire but strong to water, that kind of image.
The Red Wolf Armor and the hair ornament don’t get lost, meaning they don’t disappear, but they might break.
Later, I heard that unlike weapons, armor doesn’t disappear when lost. This is to avoid the problem of suddenly being left in your underwear.
Instead, all the armor’s performance is lost, and it disappears after logging out. It’s a strange but detailed design.
While we were discussing the use of the Red Wolf Armor in a friendly manner, Konekomaru spoke up.
“Sukuna, take a look at the other equipment. To be honest, that’s the main one.”
“Oh, okay.”
Konekomaru’s face was slightly grim as he said this.
From what I heard, it seems to have been created by overwriting the originally made equipment, so he might have mixed feelings.
I returned to the Red Wolf Armor entry and selected the Named Skill for the Lone Moon Azalea.
---
《Red Wolf's Solo Song》
Named Skill
Endless stamina inherited from the soul of the red wolf.
Dance on the battlefield before the moon hides and the azalea petals fall.
• Double the wearer’s penalty and halve SP consumption.
* This skill is always active.
---
“………………?”
My thoughts came to a halt.
