The next morning, Ye Chenfeng received a call from his younger uncle, Ye Dongjian. Ye Dongjian scolded Ye Chenfeng over the phone before letting him tell him the address, saying he would come to pick him up and take him to the military district soon.

In Ye Chenfeng's memory, his younger uncle Ye Dongjian was a frivolous person. At thirty-eight, he didn't even have a girlfriend. Back in the day, Ye Dongjian was a well-known playboy in the capital. Later, Ye Lao Ye, in a fit of anger, threw him into the military district, where he now seemed to be doing quite well.

Upon learning that Ye Chenfeng was going to the military district for training, Tang Xin, the girl, personally cooked him breakfast. Houzi (Monkey) also arrived at the villa early, fawning and flattering in front of Ye Chenfeng.

"Hey, Boss, why do you have to go to the military district for training? That place, where even birds don't defecate, is meant to torture people, right?" Houzi asked while eating breakfast.

"Can't breakfast shut your mouth?" Ye Chenfeng said irritably, "Houzi, while I'm away, take good care of Xin'er. Don't let anyone bully her."

Ye Chenfeng was going to the Tianhai Military District for training, and it might take several months. Tang Xin naturally needed someone to look after her.

"Sure thing! Boss, even if you didn't say it, I would do it. How could I let my sister-in-law be bullied? In the three years you've been away from Tianhai, I've been working hard for you, Boss!" Houzi said with a smile.

Tang Xin, hearing Houzi call her "sister-in-law," blushed like a red apple, lowered her head, and took small sips of porridge, feeling happy inside. Becoming Ye Chenfeng's little woman was her only wish now.

"Shut your dirty mouth. I remember I saved Xin'er from you back then," Ye Chenfeng teased.

Houzi's face turned slightly red, and he scratched his head, somewhat embarrassed, "Boss, you're just rubbing it in! Back then, I hadn't met you yet. After being taught a lesson by you, I had an epiphany and understood what 'playboy' means. A person who bullies the weak isn't a playboy, and you told me that back then!"

"Brother Chenfeng, are you full? Do you want me to get you more?" Tang Xin asked softly when she saw Ye Chenfeng finish the porridge in his bowl.

"Sure, get me a bit more," Ye Chenfeng said. He had a big appetite, and one bowl of porridge wasn't enough to fill his stomach.

Watching Tang Xin take Ye Chenfeng's bowl into the kitchen, Houzi said frivolously, "Boss, your sister-in-law is truly virtuous and capable, both in the kitchen and in the living room! Only such a woman can match you, Boss."

"Monkey, why do you talk more and more nonsense after three years?" Ye Chenfeng asked, pursing his lips.

"Boss, you're just being mean! In these three years, my thoughts of you have been no less than those of your sister-in-law!" Houzi sighed, looking up at the ceiling.

"Alright, Monkey, why does your talk sound so strange? Are you into men?" Ye Chenfeng felt a bit weird being constantly thought of by a man.

Houzi, on the verge of tears, said, "Boss, I'm a very normal man. You shouldn't tease me like this."

Just after finishing breakfast, Ye Chenfeng's younger uncle arrived outside the villa in a military Hummer.

With a rugged and strong face, he looked like a born soldier. At that moment, Ye Dongjian was leaning against the Hummer, a cigarette in his mouth. Seeing Ye Chenfeng come out of the villa, he punched him in the chest and said unhappily, "You brat, the old man sent you here for training, and you turn off your phone? When will you make me proud? Look at your scrawny arms and legs; you're just a girl!"

Ye Chenfeng and his younger uncle Ye Dongjian got along very well from a young age. They didn't seem like an elder and a junior but more like close friends who could talk about anything.

Ye Chenfeng rubbed his chest and said, "Uncle, you know I'm weak, yet you hit me so hard?"

"Not only will I hit you, but I'll kick you too! This time, the old man said your illness is completely cured? From now on, live like a man. Our Ye family has no cowards, got it?"

Ye Chenfeng was sweating inside. He was used to his younger uncle's behavior and quickly said, "I will definitely learn from you, Uncle."

"Good." Hearing this, Ye Dongjian nodded in satisfaction and said, "It's good to have such spirit, but you probably won't be as strong as me. If you can be half as good as me, no one will bully you."

Ye Dongjian was quite arrogant, and Ye Chenfeng was speechless. He knew that with his current level 2 soul power, his physical abilities were already on par with his uncle's. Once he improved his physical condition and stabilized his level 2 soul power, Ye Dongjian would likely be no match for him.

"Chenfeng, is that your little girlfriend? She's really beautiful," Ye Dongjian said, seeing Tang Xin and Houzi standing at the villa's entrance.

"Uncle, have you had enough? Let's go!" Ye Chenfeng didn't want to chat with his uncle anymore; he didn't know how long it would go on.

Tang Xin and Houzi watched the Hummer drive away before returning to the villa. The little girl's eyes were brimming with tears, showing her deep love for Ye Chenfeng.

In the Hummer, Ye Dongjian asked, "Chenfeng, this time I've arranged for you to join a special unit. For ordinary people, it's absolutely a living hell. How about I give you a backdoor and let you train under me for a while?"

No matter how harsh the training, could it be harsher than what Ye Chenfeng experienced in his previous life? Besides, this time he was here to improve his physical condition, and the more intense the training, the better for him.

"Uncle, you just told me to act like a man. Are you looking down on me? I don't need your special treatment," Ye Chenfeng refused outright.

"Good kid, I was just worried you might not endure the training and run away, which would make me lose face," Ye Dongjian rolled his eyes and said.

"Then, Uncle, just wait and see. You'll see how I perform," Ye Chenfeng didn't want to explain further, thinking that Ye Lao Ye hadn't told Ye Dongjian about his skills.

On the way, Ye Dongjian didn't mention Ye Chenfeng's parents at all. This was intentional. His pain was no less than Ye Chenfeng's, and he just didn't want Ye Chenfeng to become even more sad by thinking about it.
