Chapter 15

A few more days passed, and I finally returned to the mansion.
I opened the lock and entered the mansion.
"Sure, I can clean myself with life magic, and my equipment will be clean if I put it in the dimensional storage, but I really want to take a bath..."
While muttering these words and entering the hall, Felis immediately appeared from the white mist.
"Back... Felis—"
I choked on my words. Felis looked very sad, as if she was about to cry, because the long-awaited master who had finally been recognized after more than ten years had suddenly been gone for a few days, and she might have been worried.
"—Felis, I'm sorry for being late."
It's strange to apologize to a house spirit, but I bowed my head and apologized.
"O...so...i...shinpai...shita..."
A small, bell-like voice came from Felis.
I opened my eyes wide at the unexpected words.
"Wh-What!? Felis, you... can talk!?"
Felis disappeared without answering my question.
"Felis! Wait a moment!"
I shouted loudly, but Felis did not appear.
Sighing at the absent Felis, I headed to the bath.
The bath was always ready to use.
I shed my clothes, washed my body, and sank into the bathtub.
"Ah... This is it, this. After all, Japanese people love baths..."
I stretched my legs in the spacious bathtub and submerged my body up to my chin, thinking about the future.
My immediate goal is to level up the Mage to level 100 and then choose a secondary class or switch to a frontline primary class.
The rest is to learn magic... The recovery holy magic I bought from the young sage is fine. I'll go to the guild to sell materials and buy what I need.
After getting out of the bath, I changed clothes and relaxed in the living room. I fell asleep from the tension of the multi-day hunt.
When I woke up at night, I found a blanket covering my body.
I couldn't help but relax my cheeks.
"Felis... Thank you."
In the empty room, I said a word of thanks and decided to sleep again in the bed in the bedroom.
The next morning, as I was having breakfast in the dining room, Felis appeared quietly.
"Felis, good morning! Thanks for the blanket yesterday."
With a smile, I greeted her, and Felis slightly relaxed her cheeks and replied in a very small voice.
"Good... morning..."
To avoid making her worry again, I decided to tell her my plans for the day.
"Felis, I'm going shopping in town today. I'll also go to the guild. Can you take care of Kokuyou? He gets grumpy if he's only in the dimensional storage."
At my words, Felis smiled and nodded vigorously.
"Thank you, I'll leave it to you."
After finishing breakfast, I changed clothes and headed to town. Kokuyou looked like he wanted to come along, but after explaining, he seemed to understand and relaxed in the stable.
The shops were already open, and I bought delicious-looking ingredients one after another while talking to the shopkeepers. Despite the large amount, I reassured them, "It's fine," and carried the bags in both hands, then entered an alley and stored them in the dimensional storage.
When I arrived at the Adventurer's Guild, I lined up behind the adventurers waiting for their turn at the reception.
After about 5 minutes, it was my turn, and I stood in front of the receptionist.
"Welcome. Welcome to the Adventurer's Guild. What can I do for you today?"
"I'm here to deliver monster materials, but... I have a lot..."
I lightly tapped the backpack I was holding, and as if understanding, I was guided to the material storage area.
The material storage area was a building next to the guild hall, a spacious space like a gym.
The receptionist called out to the staff who were processing the materials.
"Mr. Singlet, there's a material delivery. Can you handle it?"
"Sure, just put it in that empty spot."
The receptionist came back to me and guided me to the place where the staff had indicated to place the materials.
"Follow the instructions of that staff member. You'll receive a delivery list, which you should take to the counter."
"Got it. Thanks."
When I thanked her, she bowed with a smile and returned to the guild.
Following the instructions, I started taking out the monsters from the dimensional storage one by one.
The staff member, who had been watching me work, stopped and stared in shock.
As I continued to take out more monsters, the staff member ran over and stopped me.
"Wait, wait a moment!! So many!? Do you... have more!?"
"I haven't even taken out half yet..."
My slightly hesitant answer left the staff member speechless.
Three small mountains of monsters had already been placed. I had tried to separate them by type for easier handling, but so far I had only taken out three bags of goblin ears and the monsters that could be used as materials: orcs, forest wolves, and forest bears.
I still had ogres and earth dragons, which were like large komodo dragons, stored in the dimensional storage.
"We can't handle such a large amount. Hey, someone, run to the guild and get the chief or someone!"
At Singlet's words, a young staff member stopped working and ran to the guild.
I was just told to wait there and stood still.
Thank you for reading.
I'm putting a lot of effort into this.
By the way, the Reincarnated Noble will be updated on Saturdays.
