Chapter 3 Call from far away

"Sigh! I cannot let him down. Even I am doomed not be a mind mentor, but with this refreshing medicine, I would pass the exam."

Refreshing medicine can improve user's spiritual power. Although it cannot help to conquer the last shield, but it at least can help Feng Lu to pass the exam.

Feng Lu looked at the blue crystal liquid in hand, eventually pulled out the cap and drink it all. "To be honest, it tastes good..." Gently licked the remnants of the drug on his lips, he tastes it carefully. "However, Yongheng Li's father is real something, even my family cannot get refreshing medicine with such big fortune. Never though he can steal it from his father. After all, those officers in military is the most powerful men" He suddenly felt so sleepy after said this. He knows the medicine works. Without panic, he gently press a button on the side of sofa. It transformed into a bed, and Feng Lu fall deep sleep directly.

No one saw that the moment when Feng Lu closed his eyes, numerous bright sheen and crystal rune appears in his body.

Astonished by the surrounding, one question come to Feng Lu's mind" Where am I?" "Where is this place?" he thought" I should just get a dreamless sleep and wake up, but how did I get this place?"

Although the refreshing medicine is precious, but the affect is clear to everyone. User would fall into a real relax condition like sleeping, and then user gain the spiritual power when he awake.

But now...

Looking at the totally dark space, Feng Lu can not understand. He knows he just took the refreshing medicine, so this place would be the deep inside of his own consciousness. However, it's totally different from the record. "Maybe Yongheng Li gave me a expired stuff? This would kill me ..." This is the only explain he can think of now, and his eyes almost protruding. Judge from its color, it is refreshing medicine. As for Yongheng Li intended to harm him, that would be impossible, and Feng Lu never thought of this.

"What the hell is this place? Anybody here?" Shouted aloud, but his voice been devoured by the darkness. There's no any echo. He standing there dumbly, and there is no way to leave with all darkness surrounding.

"I'm right it is expired" he think sadly "My only hope is Yongheng Li come to find me after several days. I might be saved then". What he can depends on now is his friend.

To be honest, Feng Lu is quite optimistic about his life. With incomparable comprehension talent but cannot practice, others would let themselves go down. Feng Lu ,however, did not, at least he is still fighting and hoping he can become a warrior, even a junior one. He wasn't so sad when he lost his special enrollment to Qiang Zhao before, but rather unwilling.

And for now, he is stuck in such dying situation, he is not really pessimistic desperate but still holding a glimmer of hope. " The dead men Yongheng Li, he gave me a bottle of expired medicine. I have to wait for help in this nowhere, how unlucky I am!"

Refreshing medicine, like other medicines, has the expire date. Usually, there will be a side effect if take the expired one. Feng Lu knows a little of this dark place. This is his mind space. When he enter his mind space, that means he has been sleeping but his consciousness still works during absorption of the medicine. Otherwise, he won't enter.

"Luckily I have searched for refreshing medicine before, or I would be scared to death" Feng Lu muttered, squatting in the mind space, helplessly watching the darkness around.

When someone took the expired refreshing medicine, he or she would have a negative effect. Most of them, like Feng Lu now, would keep conscious while his body in sleeping. They cannot wake up by themselves, unless someone awakens their bodies.

Feng Lu considered that there're still three days. It won't be much danger during those days. Although he hasn't be a junior warrior yet, his physical health is better than normal person. There will be no problem without food or drinks. He thinks" I used to laughing at those people who taken expired medicines, and I think the person would break down if staying in total darkness for several days. I have never thought that this thing would happen to me before. I shouldn't do gloating."

Being boring, Feng Lu stand up with sadness on his face, and begin to practice the set of boxing he learned in school. He knows it would has no meaning to practice here, but he will be so bored to death if he keep doing nothing. After practice the whole set, he sit in darkness again.

Here, he couldn't feel tired because there would be no waste of energy in mind space. "Hey, when can I become a real warrior! Will I pass the exam for mind mentor?" He shouted loudly and lying down helplessly.

Time passes and Feng Lu felt he is going to collapse, but suddenly he saw something strange. He sat up, looking at front quietly. During a period of time, he finally saw it clearer and clearer. Some change happens in that hazy darkness, slowly but happening. There is a faint change far away. It looks like the beginning of chaos, the birth of origin, lots of unspeakable will gathering slowly. Then, it appears in a place with unknown distance from him.

" Do you still remember your dedication..."

"Have you forgot your promise..."

"Road passed before has been lost, do you remember what you have promised?"

"War did not stop, do you remember the blood they spilled all over...?"

"Wake up ,wake up, go back to your peak exist, go back to your immortal journey, use your fist, use your blood to smash the eternal imprisonment again..."

Feng Lu lost in this song, the ancient desolate burial song lingering in his ears, leaving him in a short blank. After a while, he slowly recovered. Feng Lu looks peaceful without any shock or surprise. He seems not himself anymore, slowly he walked, don't know how far he walked, he feels like have passed the endless space, arrived at the other side of faraway, and to the place that give birth to everything.

"What is this all about? Why I feel it's so familiar ?" muttering, his eyes full of unconcealed sadness, a indescribable confuse. Suddenly, all these sadness and confusing disappeared, and instead by a extreme shock. He can see it now!

In the space in front of him, like the initial of the world, a shaking change appeared. A huge thing suddenly appeared through the layers of fog, and across the cycle of space and time, in that deep era. It was borned! It was formed in the chaos, born instantly, and then formed like this. A strong occupation of the immense sky and earth.

Feng Lu raised his head, but what he saw is only the top hide in the endless hazy. At this moment, he cannot see all of this huge thing but only a small section under the hazy. He took a deep breath which full of an unspeakable shock.

This horrible thing shocked him totally. It is too huge! It looks bigger than many times of those huge interstellar fortress. To him, the late one is probably smaller than one from 10000 of the tip can be seen. This is horrible! The interstellar fortress is transferred from a planet, and only the part that can be seen of this thine is more than 10000 times bigger than it. It is really unbelievable.

The next moment, when this ancient monster seemed to have been completely born, a sudden crack showed up on the exposed part. No, it's not a crack. Feng Lu looking at that crack, and the entire body has gradually clear, he took a deep breath.

The creak is actually a gateway! It looks like the huge door between the sky and earth. And this huge thing too is not something unknown. It is a majestic pagoda with terrifying atmosphere.

"What the hell is this thing?"
