Chapter 79

This isn't a joke, right...

Apart from Kadgar, does the Black Horn Auction House have any other alchemists worth mentioning? And even if it's Kadgar, he is always both impressed and surprised when talking about the great wizard Merlin, even thinking that the great wizard Merlin might become the first creator in the history of Thousand Sails City.

Falu really wants to ask Haus, what kind of mentality do you have...

Standing in the alchemy lab of the Gilded Rose, yet wanting to go work at the Black Horn Auction House, are you out of your mind?

Forget it, if you're out of your mind, it has nothing to do with me...

There are probably hundreds of alchemists in Thousand Sails City who admire me, and if one of them has a problem with their IQ, it doesn't seem like a big deal. I should quickly deal with you and then go to the reception room; I can't let the great wizard Merlin wait too long...

Falu quickly gave up on this admirer...

"Alright, Alchemist Haus, you've seen these alchemy tools before, so I won't introduce them to you. Now, let's talk about your work. Your main task for the near future will be to prepare alchemical potions. I'll have someone bring you some semi-finished alchemical potions, and you just need to process them."

"Sure, sure, no problem..."

Sometimes people are just so strange...

If Lin Yun were to speak to Haus in such a cold tone, this young genius alchemist would probably flip out on the spot. But now, when Falu says these words, Haus immediately feels it is justified. Alchemist Falu is the most outstanding alchemist in Thousand Sails City, just one step away from becoming a grand alchemist. It is already a rare honor for such a person to speak a few words to him. How could he expect more?

Besides, isn't that how great people are? Great people need to have the demeanor of great people!

Look, I've even found an excuse for Falu...

If Haus knew that Falu was being so perfunctory just because he was eager to meet the very accommodating boss Merlin, he wouldn't know what to think...

"Alright, I'll leave if there's nothing else."

Falu has no interest in what Haus thinks. After quickly dealing with Haus, Falu quickly arrived at the door of the reception room. Standing outside the door, Falu took a deep breath, calmed his excitement, and tidied up his robe before gently knocking on the door.

"Come in." When Falu entered, Lin Yun was looking at a batch of alchemists' profiles. He casually pointed to a seat: "Falu, take a seat first."

Falu naturally didn't dare to disturb him and sat down obediently opposite Lin Yun. A few minutes later, Lin Yun finished reading the batch of alchemists' profiles and put them aside: "Falu, you should understand what Kadgar means by sending you here, right?"

"Understand, understand..." Falu, of course, knew that Kadgar had seen him lingering outside the door of the grand alchemists for a long time before deciding to send him to the Gilded Rose. Both he and Kadgar believed that only this great wizard Merlin could help him become a grand alchemist.

"Kadgar has told me many times that you are the most promising among the young alchemists in Thousand Sails City and hopes I can give you some help. I have already agreed to Kadgar. I think that if you work hard enough, you can become a grand alchemist in three months."

"R-really?" Falu was instantly stunned. This... This is the grand alchemist that the great wizard Merlin has personally promised me?

And just three months!

If someone else had said this, Falu might have doubted it...

But who is the person in front of him?

He is one of the top grand alchemists, just one step away from becoming a master. And at the Black Horn Auction House, Kadgar had more than once regretted that the great wizard Merlin spent too much time on magic, which has already affected his achievements in alchemy. If the great wizard Merlin were to spend a little more time on alchemy, even just a little, he would probably already be a master.

And in ten or twenty years, he might even become the first creator in Thousand Sails City.

Unfortunately, the great wizard Merlin's interest doesn't seem to be in alchemy...

"Yes, three months." Now, this top grand alchemist, whom even Kadgar admires, once again assured Falu. In that moment, Falu felt his heart race. Grand alchemist, and even master, everything seems no longer far away...

"I... I will definitely work hard!"

"Good, here is your employment contract. Take a look, and if there are no problems, sign it. I'll take you to my alchemy lab later."

"Alright." Falu picked up the employment contract, glanced at it, and signed his name without hesitation.

Lin Yun smiled, not expecting Falu to be so straightforward. This is a magical contract, and once signed, it cannot be revoked. Otherwise, the magical power in the contract will make the person pay a huge price.

"Alright, Falu, welcome to the Gilded Rose." Lin Yun extended his hand to shake Falu's, and just as he was about to take Falu to tour his alchemy lab, the door of the reception room was knocked on again.

"Knock, knock, knock... Knock, knock, knock..."

The hurried and rapid knocking was far from as polite as Falu's. Lin Yun immediately frowned: "Come in."

Sure enough, it was Haus who walked in...

"Mafa Merlin, what do you want!" Haus stormed into the reception room, directly throwing the work schedule on the long table, and even skipped the "boss" part, calling Lin Yun by his full name.

"I've told you many times, I am an alchemist, not a damned alchemy apprentice. Why is no one helping me operate the alchemy tools? Why is no one helping me process the magical materials? You can't be telling me that the Gilded Rose is so poor that it can't even afford a few alchemy apprentice assistants? I'm telling you, an alchemist's time is very valuable. This is a crime, do you know that!"

"..." Lin Yun touched his nose, picked up the work schedule in front of him, and for a moment, he really didn't know what to say. Yes, processing magical materials and operating alchemy tools are usually done by alchemy apprentices in ordinary alchemy shops, but is the Gilded Rose an ordinary alchemy shop? What ordinary alchemy shop has over fifty alchemists?
