"Copy body? How do I use it?" Gao Yang asked after a moment of silence.

"Formally speaking, it's a clone of you, but without independent thought or a soul, it can only execute specific commands. You can have it appear in the surveillance of those watching you when you go to 1924," Origin explained.

Gao Yang fell silent, lit a cigarette, and sat on the sofa, deep in thought. He didn't fully trust Origin! A suddenly appearing, ultra-advanced, special life form? Gao Yang didn't even know what Origin truly was! Because he couldn't fully understand it, there was a hint of fear due to the unknown. He ignored it only because he needed Origin's abilities to change his life!

"Will it be like the governor in 'The 6th Day,' where I might be replaced by my own clone?" Gao Yang asked, his greatest concern being the fear of becoming a puppet.

"I doubt you would believe me if I said no," Origin said coldly. "I'm just giving you an option; how you use it is entirely up to you."

Now the situation was simple: Gao Yang couldn't obtain energy points in the original timeline. If he went to 1924, he would disappear from the original timeline. Once the CIA discovered his secret, with his current strength, he would be powerless to resist! Even if he fled and accumulated strength in 1924, what about his parents and relatives?

"Create it, I need a stand-in now," Gao Yang quickly decided. After inspecting the factory and reorganizing the troops, Gao Yang returned to the original timeline. He met with the exploration team in the valley to discuss the progress of the oil mine construction and returned to the mining town early the next morning.

"Besides the four CIA employees, there are four assassins from a European killer organization," Origin's words completely ruined Gao Yang's good mood after a good night's sleep.

Originally, he planned to rest well, take a shower, and sleep in the villa. Before bed, he asked Origin to conduct a comprehensive scan and inquiry of suspicious individuals within a three-kilometer radius of the villa.

Who knew he would be shocked as soon as he woke up. The CIA was understandable, but assassins? "Where exactly are the assassins?" Gao Yang asked irritably, wondering why all sorts of people were showing up, including assassins.

Origin quickly reported the locations of the assassins. Gao Yang called the mercenary captain and told him the addresses, coldly saying, "I want them alive."

He came to the courtyard for dinner. The unpolluted night sky of 1924 was as beautiful as ever, filled with twinkling stars. The temperature had dropped by evening, and the occasional breeze made the candles on the table flicker. Hungry all day, Gao Yang only had eyes for the steak in front of him, devouring it ravenously. The servants handed him a napkin and poured half a glass of red wine. Gao Yang wiped his mouth, picked up the glass, and slowly sipped it. In the distance, the mine was still bustling with people and the sound of machinery, as capitalists pursued maximum profit without caring whether it was day or night!

Gao Yang smiled bitterly; he was one of those capitalists now. Suddenly, a crisp gunshot rang out from a house in town, like drumbeats at a celebration, continuous and stirring. The whole town seemed to be in turmoil.

But the gunfire came and went quickly, and everything was quiet again in just a few seconds. Gao Yang finished his drink and turned back to the villa, wondering who wanted to kill him?

"Three dead, one captured, all professionals," the mercenary captain reported softly, his foot stepping on a black man tied up tightly.

"Tell me, who is your employer?" Gao Yang asked, sitting on the sofa, his left hand resting on the armrest, supporting his head.

The black man visibly trembled but didn't speak.

"Let me handle it, boss; I'll make him talk," the captain said cruelly. Mercenaries like him had encountered many such situations. Gao Yang waved his hand, and the captain grabbed the black man's hair and dragged him out.

Gao Yang lit a cigarette and started checking his watch. One minute and forty seconds later, the captain came in and said, "Boss, their employer is Orpheus Mining's owner, Orpheus Cole." He paused and added, "What about the assassin?"

Gao Yang stubbed out his cigarette and said, "Give me the sniper rifle they used." After waving his hand to dismiss the captain, he said, "Analyze the reason." Origin quickly provided the answer: "Based on the analysis, there is over a 90% chance it's about the newly discovered oil mine in the valley."

This mining area had over a dozen mining companies of various sizes, and as long as you paid, the local government would issue mining rights. Orpheus Mining was the largest company in the area, with the best ore veins, the most miners, and the most ruthless gunmen.

"Really ruthless, hiring assassins for an oil mine," Gao Yang was genuinely angry. He had been pushed to the brink by the CIA, and now this Orpheus was provoking him, treating him like a Hello Kitty?

If not for the CIA watching, Gao Yang would have gathered his forces and destroyed Orpheus Mining. "Any good suggestions?" This was when Origin was useful.

"If you want to use violence, you can hire an assassin to take him out. If you want to use legal means, you can buy out his company and bankrupt him. Given Orpheus' character, he has many enemies. Once he goes bankrupt, many people will want to have a chat with him."

"Let's do it." Gao Yang immediately agreed. "The one who set you up is a woman, isn't it? She's really ruthless, even more so than killing him outright."

The next morning, after breakfast, Gao Yang returned to the bedroom and had Origin set up a holographic shield for the entire room, then created a clone of himself. "All information has been arranged. Except for the lack of a soul, everything else is the same as you. This is the best way until your strength can ignore the CIA," Origin explained seriously.

Looking at his identical clone, Gao Yang felt helpless. He thought that with Origin's advanced technology, he could dominate the planet, but he never expected to be pushed to this extent by an intelligence agency. After deep humiliation and anger, he was determined to earn energy points at all costs, to repay today's humiliation tenfold in the future!

Arriving in 1924's Shanghai, Gao Yang originally planned to kill Boss Huang, even bringing a sniper rifle. But Origin suggested that even if Boss Huang was eliminated, others like Boss Du or Boss Zhang would emerge. To solve the problem fundamentally, he should wait until he had complete control over Shanghai and then launch a crackdown.

Gao Feng came to report at the SC Trade office: "The Americans agreed to buy sulfanilamide at $20 per unit, with an initial order of 200,000 units. However, they require exclusive distribution rights
