In this awkward atmosphere, Gu Anran felt restless, she didn’t know what to say to liven up the atmosphere.

“Ranran!” Suddenly a cheerful voice broke the silence. Turning her head, Gu Anran noticed a beautiful woman walking towards them with a smile.

“Cousin Jing! Why are you here?” Gu Anran looked surprised to find Wang Yanjing here.

Wang Yanjing is the cousin of this body’s original owner. This cousin of hers had a very good relationship with the original owner and would often visit Gu Anran several times a month.

On the other hand, Mu Qingli felt her heart twist at Gu Anran’s use of the word ‘friends’ to describe her. Strange, why do I feel uncomfortable? And when I see Wang Yanjing with her girlfriend, why do I feel envious instead of disgusted? What is wrong with me?

Wang Yanjing looked at the confused Mu Qingli and nodded her head in satisfaction, but then looked over to see the completely dense Gu Anran, she felt annoyed. For her cousin’s happiness and future, as the older cousin, Wang Yanjing felt that she needed to guide this idiotic cousin of hers.

“Ranran, let me explain, this woman, she wuuu-” As Wang Yanjing’s lover, Su Wen naturally knew that Wang Yanjing was probably going to instill some strange thoughts into Gu Anran’s head and quickly covered her mouth.

“Uh…Little Qing, let’s go on a ride…what do you want to do first?” Gu Anran thought that sitting here all day was not a good day and that it would be better to go outside and distract Mu Qingli from her thoughts.

“Um…let’s go on the pirate ship.” Mu Qingli didn’t know any rides, so she just named the most popular one.

“Ok.” Gu Anran felt relieved. Mu Qingli had finally responded. She waved at the waiter, paid for their food and then reached out her hand, smiling,

“Let’s go then.”

“En…” Mu Qingli smiled and put her hand into Gu Anran’s. Maybe…I do like little Ran. Then why shouldn’t I just listen to these feelings? Little Ran doesn’t seem to be disgusted by my touch…then that means I just might have a chance.

「The female lead’s favorability rating has increased by 5 to (80)」

The favorability increased again! Does that mean Mu Qingli isn’t angry anymore? Gu Anran’s originally gloomy mood immediately cleared up, and her steps became brisker.

They held their hands together as they walked toward the pirate ships only to see a familiar figure suddenly rush forward and another figure followed behind. Eh, isn’t that Hong Qingyi and Chi Mengyan? What’s going on with them?

“Oh, it’s little Yi and little Yan! Let’s go over to them.” Naturally, Mu Qingli also noticed the two and hastily walked over.

“Ok.”

The two hurried over and as soon as they approached, they heard the sound of vomiting and saw the pale-faced Hong Qingyi crouched over while Chi Mengyan stood by her side and wiped Hong Qingyi’s mouth with some toilet paper.

“Mengyan, what’s the matter with little Yi?” Mu Qingli asked worriedly.

“You guys went on a roller coaster, didn’t you?” Gu Anran turned towards the direction they had come from and she could see a big roller coaster looming over the area.

“Yes.” Chi Mengyan pursed her lips and nodded.

“Did this idiot not tell you she’s afraid of heights? Jeez, she just loves to play the hero!” Gu Anran watched in disdain as Hong Qingyu turned from a hero into an actual bear. [1]

Then turning towards Chi Mengyan, she said: “This idiot will be fine. After she finishes and drinks some water, she’ll be up and alive again in a few minutes.” Saying so, Gu Anran passed over a bottle of water to Chi Mengyan.

“Thanks.” Taking the water bottle, Chi Mengyan unscrewed the cap and handed it to Hong Qingyi.

Rinsing her mouth, Hong Qingyi wiped the sweat on her forehead and smiled weakly at Chi Mengyan, “I’m fine now, don’t worry about it.” She took another sip and then wiped her mouth.

“Well, go ahead and rest a bit. Don’t be the hero who dies an untimely death.” Gu Anran took a mint out of her pocket and tossed it to Hong Qingyi. As for why she had mints on her, it’s because she brought some with her every day and now it has become a habit.

“Go fu*k yourself. You’ll be the one to die an untimely death. This lady will definitely live longer than you.” Catching the mint, Hong Qingyi rolled her eyes and walked over to a bench not far away.

“Yeah, yeah, you’re as tough as a cockroach.”

“You’re the cockroach!”

“You two should go have fun, I’ll take care of little Yi.” Chi Mengyan said to Gu Anran and Mu Qingli.

“Alright, we’ll be leaving first.” Gu Anran nodded, not at all worried about her currently dying party member. Please! If she can still catch and curse, then it’s impossible she would die unless she got a sudden heart attack, but Hong Qingyi’s chances of having one are too low.

And so, Gu Anran happily pulled Mu Qingli with her to play on all the rides. As for how did they ride them all without waiting in line? By calculating the flow of traffic and the amusement park ride times, there’s no need to wait in line. See how smart I am? ╮(╯_╰)╭

However, playing all day was still tiring and took a while. Now, it was already six in the evening and the two of them were sitting in their last ride, the Ferris Wheel!

The Ferris wheel in this amusement park is super famous! Almost all tourists come here for this, as for the reason why….

Gu Anran and Mu Qingli sat face to face, looking down at the tiny landscape.

“It’s so beautiful.” Mu Qingli murmured to herself, looking down at the mix of colors, “It’s like a colorful galaxy,” Mu Qingli said.

“Of course it’s beautiful. This is one of the city’s top ten…places..to…” Gu Anran answered automatically, but then paused. However, once said, words cannot be taken back….so she pretended she was too focused on watching the scenery and didn’t say a word.

The atmosphere…is frozen again but it wasn’t a cold type of atmosphere. Instead, it was a little bit err….ambiguous…

Then,

Pow! Peng! Bang! Numerous bright colors lit up the sky, the fireworks illuminating the scene. This was the first time the two of them had seen fireworks this close.

That’s right! How can one forget about the fireworks show!

After coming down the Ferris wheel, they met up with Hong Qingyi and Chi Mengyan before going their separate ways. Each one left with a mix of different thoughts in their minds…
