"Whoa..."
Logan and Amelia arrived at the dress shop. At the sight before her, Amelia let out a gasp of amazement.
"Are all of these dresses...!?"
"Well, it is a dress shop, after all."
"Amazing...!!"
Amelia was drawn to the dazzling dresses, feeling as if the dresses she had worn before were nothing compared to these. She wandered around the store for a while.
Her eyes sparkled at a pink dress adorned with beautiful flowers, she blinked in surprise at a heavily decorated, glittery dress, and blushed at a dress with a particularly low-cut neckline.
Logan watched her with a look of curiosity, as if observing a rare creature. After wandering around for a bit, Amelia returned to Logan, looking somewhat dejected.
"Did you find a dress you like?"
"To be honest... I have no idea which one to choose..."
Amelia, who had only been given rag-like hand-me-down dresses, had no sense of fashion.
"There's no need to be so down. If you don't know, just ask the experts."
Logan raised his hand slightly, and a shop assistant came over with practiced movements.
"Please help her find a dress for the tea party."
"Understood. First, about the color. Generally, it's best to match the dress to the hair color. Since your hair is a beautiful red, a red dress would be a good choice, but red is a strong color. If you prefer something less flashy, a blue or light blue dress might be better. As for the decorations..."
Amelia was so flattered by the comment about her beautiful red hair that she didn't really hear the rest.
The change in her hair was something she hadn't really noticed, but since coming to the Helmburg family, she had been washing her hair thoroughly every day, and it had regained its shine and luster.
"...So, that's the general idea."
"Yes, that's right. What do you think?"
"Um, ah, well..."
She had missed parts of the conversation, and with so many choices, it was hard to decide. After some thought, she felt she might end up saying, "I'll leave it to you."
"Lord Logan, what do you think?"
She asked, seeking his help.
"Hmm, I see."
Logan placed his finger on his chin and looked at Amelia.
"Matching the dress to your hair color, a red dress would be good, but it might be too flashy. Considering the setting of a tea party, and most importantly, your personality, it wouldn't suit you."
"That's true, I do think it might be a bit too flashy..."
"Then, I think a blue or light blue dress with modest decorations would be best."
"I see...!! Indeed, I agree with that."
"It seems like I'm making the decision for you... Is that okay?"
"Yes, it's fine."
A warm feeling welled up in Amelia's chest.
"It's fine because Lord Logan chose it for me."
Amelia was delighted that he had considered her appearance and personality carefully.
Seeing Amelia's bashful smile, Logan averted his gaze slightly.
"...I see. Then, let's go with that direction."
"Understood."
The shop assistant bowed respectfully and went to select the dresses.
"Actually, that dress over there would be fine too, right?"
Logan pointed to the dress with the low-cut neckline that had made Amelia blush earlier.
"Stop teasing me!"
"Hehe, sorry, sorry. Your reaction was just so amusing."
Logan patted Amelia's head, and she forgave him easily.
After trying on the dresses the shop assistant brought, Amelia immediately decided, "This one is perfect...!!"
"The dress for the tea party is settled, then."
"Yes, thank you. I'll wear it with care..."
Amelia's face lit up with joy as she spoke.
"Next, we need to choose some everyday dresses."
"Everyday dresses...?"
"Of course. How long do you plan to wear that dress? Since we're here, let's buy a few dresses for everyday wear, going out, and formal occasions."
Amelia nearly fainted at Logan's casual suggestion.
(I remember... even one dress is quite expensive...)
Amelia was once again reminded of how impressive the Duke was.
After that, Amelia tried on the dresses the shop assistant brought and immediately decided on one.
"The dress for the tea party is settled, then."
"Yes, thank you. I'll wear it with care..."
Amelia's face was filled with joy as she spoke.
"Next, we need to choose some everyday dresses."
"Everyday dresses...?"
"Of course. How long do you plan to wear that dress? Since we're here, let's buy a few dresses for everyday wear, going out, and formal occasions."
Logan said it as if it were nothing, and Amelia nearly fainted.
