"Summer, the college entrance exam is coming up soon, right? Where do you want to go to university? Tell your brother," Xiaoma said, patting his chest.

"Do you really have so little faith in my academic abilities?" Summer said dejectedly.

"Hehe, you're right. Dad is so strict with you, I was just overthinking it." Xiaoma smiled slightly. He found the things Summer had learned from a young age terrifying, but fortunately, Dad didn't have such high expectations for him.

"What are you doing now?" Summer asked.

"What else, just getting by. You saw yesterday, I deal with those developers, and I'm in the building materials business," Xiaoma smiled slightly.

"In the building materials business, how do you know someone like Director Xiang?" Summer asked, puzzled.

"I can get steel, and I have connections with the Land Bureau, the Construction Committee, and so on." Although Xiaoma didn't say it outright, he had already indicated the scale of his business.

"That's impressive," Summer said admiringly. Xiaoma was only twenty-five, yet he had built such a large business.

"What's so impressive? I do have a lot of face in front of those developers, but I still have to watch my step with others." Xiaoma didn't say it outright, but Summer understood that the "others" he referred to were people like Director Xiang.

"You're still impressive. Most people your age are still students," Summer praised.

"Whatever is mine is yours. From today on, you're the vice president of Ma's Building Materials. Whatever you want, Xiaoma can give you, except for my wife," Xiaoma patted Summer's shoulder and continued, "You're the only family I have in this world."

"I don't want it. Those are yours, Xiaoma. You're the closest person to me, but I won't take your money," Summer, though he considered Xiaoma like a brother, would never take his money.

"Suit yourself. Anyway, as long as you need it, all my money is at your disposal," Xiaoma didn't force Summer, knowing his strong character.

The car stopped in front of a villa.

"Huh, he has a driver and servants. Why did he need you to take the old man to the hospital?" Summer asked, puzzled. The villa had both a driver and servants.

"How could a driver and servants arrange everything properly? And if I handle it, it will save him a lot of trouble," Xiaoma explained.

Summer nodded. Indeed, if a director were to personally arrange for a good doctor and a good ward for his father, it would be very troublesome, and he might even be investigated.

"How much has he embezzled?" Summer asked, looking at the large house.

"Not a cent," Xiaoma continued. "If he were someone who could be solved with money, I wouldn't have to go through so much trouble. This villa is all the old man's property."

When they entered the room, the old man greeted Xiaoma, clearly indicating that Xiaoma wasn't a first-time visitor.

Summer frowned when he saw the old man's condition. "Don't move him."

"What's wrong?" Xiaoma looked at Summer in confusion, as he was having the servants place the old man on a stretcher.

"He must have eaten something cold. If we wait until he gets to the hospital, he might not make it." Summer extended his right hand to take the old man's pulse.

"That serious?" Xiaoma frowned. If anything happened to the old man, his relationship with Director Xiang would be over.

The old man's face turned increasingly blue, and his breathing became more labored. Xiaoma knew that what Summer said might be true.

Summer used two fingers to press a point on the old man's stomach, then carried him and ran around the room in circles.

"What are you doing? Quickly let go of the old man," the servants shouted urgently.

"I'm the old man's personal doctor. Quickly let go of the old man, you're causing a commotion." The old man had his own personal doctor, who had already examined him and recommended going to the hospital.

Cough! Cough!

The old man coughed a few times and spat out something. After spitting it out, his face visibly improved, and he took a few deep breaths. "Thank you, young man, for saving my life."

Seeing the old man's condition improve, everyone around was stunned.

"How did you do that?" Xiaoma looked at Summer in surprise.

"He has had a stroke, but with proper care, he can live for one or two years. The reason he was in this state is because he ate highly cold seafood. For ordinary people, it's a great tonic, but for someone with a stroke, it's deadly," Summer explained.

"Old man, what did you eat just now?" Xiaoma asked.

"It was a snow toad. An old friend brought it back from outside and instructed me to add a few ingredients to make a soup," the old man replied.

"Old man, can I see that soup?" Summer asked.

"Of course." The old man had someone bring the soup over.

After smelling it, Summer had the person take the soup away. "Old man, how much of a grudge do you have with this person?"

"No, that person is an old friend of mine."

"Did your old friend personally bring it over?" Summer asked again.

"It was his son who brought it over."

"The snow toad is a highly cold creature. When combined with these herbs, it can extract the cold poison from the snow toad. Even ordinary people who consume this cold poison won't survive more than three months," Summer explained.

"Thank you, young man, for saving my life." The old man thanked him.

"Lie still, I'll help you unblock your body." Summer used his fingers to press points on the old man's body for a while, then massaged him.

"Feels so good." The old man felt his body had never been better.

"You know medicine?" Xiaoma looked at Summer in surprise.

"My father taught me a bit." Summer used the Lingxi Finger technique, pressing points on the old man to promote blood circulation and the flow of vital cells in his body.

"Thank you so much, I feel like my illness is completely gone." The old man said excitedly.

"Old man, you misunderstood. I just helped unblock your body. Your illness hasn't been cured. If I had silver needles, it would take me more than a year to cure your illness," Summer explained.

"What? Cure my illness, you mean my illness can be cured?" The old man looked at Summer in surprise. For so many years, no matter which hospital he went to, they all told him that the illness could be treated, but the root cause couldn't be eliminated, and as he aged, the frequency of attacks would increase.

"It should be possible." Summer hadn't tried it, but based on his understanding of the human body, he could indeed remove the toxins from the old man's body.

"I hope you can cure my illness." The old man was about to kneel, but Summer quickly supported him.

"What are you doing?"

"Young man, I'm not afraid of death, but I can't die. If I die, the Xiang family will face many serious problems, involving dozens of people. So I beg you to cure my illness," the old man said sincerely.

"Alright, but I need silver needles."
