When Gao Xin Hua arrived at the small courtyard, Xu Chun Liang was hanging upside down on the horizontal bar, doing sit-ups with his bare upper body. The morning light shone on his sweat-drenched body, highlighting his well-defined muscles. Gao Xin Hua didn't disturb him, lit a cigarette, and silently counted for him.
By the time Gao Xin Hua finished his cigarette, Xu Chun Liang was still going.
Gao Xin Hua inwardly praised the young man's robust physique, admitting that even when he was young and in the military, he couldn't match this level.
Xu Chun Liang only stopped after completing his set of exercises. He picked up a towel to wipe the sweat and said, "Uncle Gao, you didn't rest at home on Sunday. Why did you come to Huichun Hall? Did you get a stiff neck again?"
"You don't miss me that much, do you?"
Xu Chun Liang invited him to sit in the courtyard, poured a cup of Bi Tan Piao Xue tea for him, and Gao Xin Hua sat in the small courtyard, watching the koi fish swimming in the pond. He praised, "This pond is quite beautiful. I didn't see it the last time I came."
Xu Chun Liang told him that Zheng Pei An had someone help set it up, and the fish were bought by his grandfather and placed in the pond not long ago. He sensed that Gao Xin Hua had other matters to discuss.
Sure enough, Gao Xin Hua quickly got to the point, asking about the Ting Mei Breast Enlargement Clinic. He was tactful, but Xu Chun Liang could tell that Gao Xin Hua was here to plead on someone's behalf, probably because Pei Lin had found him.
Gao Xin Hua didn't really want to get involved, but the hospital director, Zhao Fei Yang, asked him to mediate, as Zhao Fei Yang couldn't do it himself.
Gao Xin Hua didn't know when Pei Lin had connected with Zhao Fei Yang, but since the director had spoken, he couldn't ignore it. Besides, Xu Chun Liang still worked at Changxing, and not giving Zhao Fei Yang face would surely upset him.
Zhao Fei Yang specifically instructed not to mention himself.
Gao Xin Hua understood that Zhao Fei Yang wanted to avoid suspicion, but if a phone call could solve the problem, why did he have to involve him? He didn't need to avoid suspicion.
Xu Chun Liang's gaze was somewhat meaningful, and Gao Xin Hua felt that his image in Xu Chun Liang's eyes had diminished. He wondered if Xu Chun Liang suspected he had a special relationship with Pei Lin. Feeling a bit guilty, he explained that Pei Lin was the daughter of an old friend, but then thought it was unnecessary.
Xu Chun Liang smiled, "You don't need to explain to me. Actually, this has nothing to do with Huichun Hall. We've already done them a big favor. If Grandfather hadn't sold them the cooling ointment, they would have been shut down by those people." He lowered his voice, "Uncle Gao, there's something I don't know if I should say."
Gao Xin Hua told him to go ahead, sensing it wouldn't be good news.
"Pei Lin may look good, but her background is sensitive. You should be careful when dealing with people like her."
Gao Xin Hua's face turned red. This kid was clearly not thinking well of him. What could he have to do with Pei Lin? She was a drug dealer, and he wasn't in charge of drug procurement. He didn't know how Zhao Fei Yang had met her.
Gao Xin Hua couldn't betray Zhao Fei Yang, so he smiled awkwardly, "You're just talking nonsense. If you can help, you should. It's not easy for people to do business."
"That doesn't mean you should do any business. What you sow, you will reap. These breast enlargement clinics are making money unethically."
Gao Xin Hua couldn't continue, took a sip of tea, and started talking about workplace rules, mentioning that Xu Chun Liang had been temporarily assigned to the Quality Control Group II. He explained that this wasn't Zhao Fei Yang's intention, but Yan Hui Yi had publicly named him, and Zhao Fei Yang couldn't retract his words. He urged Xu Chun Liang not to have any negative thoughts and assured him that he would return to his original position after the quality inspection.
Xu Chun Liang didn't have much attachment to the Medical Affairs Department and didn't plan to stay at Changxing for life. Currently, it was just a temporary arrangement. He needed to repair his meridians and restart the cultivation of the "Tongtian Treasure Canon." As for his future, using a popular phrase, it should be the vast universe.
Yan Hui Yi naming him to join the Quality Control Group II could be seen as a counterattack, and from Gao Xin Hua's perspective, it was because Zhao Fei Yang had been too harsh on Yan Hui Yi. Even a Buddha has a temper, and Yan Hui Yi, no matter how weak, wouldn't let Zhao Fei Yang publicly humiliate him. Unfortunately, Xu Chun Liang had temporarily become a casualty of their conflict.
Gao Xin Hua advised Xu Chun Liang to avoid making enemies in the workplace, to be broad-minded, and to learn to be forgiving and let things go.
Xu Chun Liang could tell that Gao Xin Hua was circling back to Pei Lin. He could promise not to kick her when she was down, but he had no obligation to help Ting Mei Breast Enlargement Clinic. Repaying kindness with kindness conflicted with his principles.
Ting Mei Breast Enlargement Clinic's current situation was entirely their own doing, and closing such a fraudulent institution was a good thing for society.
After seeing off a patient, Xu's grandfather also joined the conversation. When Gao Xin Hua couldn't persuade Xu Chun Liang, he turned to him. Xu Chang Shan immediately asked Xu Chun Liang to help mediate, not to prolong the conflict but to show mercy.
Xu Chun Liang had anticipated that Gao Xin Hua would eventually pressure him through his grandfather. This old Gao was cunning. Seeing Gao Xin Hua's smug smile, Xu Chun Liang decided to make him uncomfortable by mentioning his upcoming rural quality inspection assignment, a month-long inspection that would keep him on Weishan Island for about three weeks.
Xu Chun Liang deliberately made it sound miserable, as if he were being deliberately targeted. After stirring up the situation, he found an excuse to leave.
Gao Xin Hua was secretly distressed, and Xu's grandfather's gaze had become unfriendly.
Xu Chang Shan asked Gao Xin Hua what he had promised initially. He had agreed to take care of Xu Chun Liang and eventually transfer him to the Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, not to send him to the countryside.
Gao Xin Hua spent a lot of time explaining that Xu Chun Liang wasn't being exiled but was being groomed for a promotion. The hospital leadership wanted to use him, and being in the Quality Control Group was a sign of trust. His assignment to Weishan Island was temporary, and he would return to the hospital and his original department after the inspection. External assignments were usually a good sign, often preceding a promotion.
Xu Chun Liang didn't give Gao Xin Hua face in this matter. After all, Ting Mei Breast Enlargement Clinic had been in the wrong first. Not kicking them when they were down was already merciful. Selling the cooling ointment to their clients had already been lenient; otherwise, Ting Mei would have been completely destroyed.
Through negotiations, Ting Mei Breast Enlargement Clinic agreed to refund the clients and cover their medical and lost wages.
Almost simultaneously, Ting Mei's headquarters was investigated for false advertising, affecting many franchisees.
Pei Lin, while lamenting her misfortunes, realized that the industry might face significant issues. She decisively chose to close the store, instructing Pei Yu to notify all clients to come for refunds within a set period. The estimated loss was over one million.
Huichun Hall finally returned to its former tranquility. Xu Chang Shan, seeing the empty parking spots in front of Ting Mei Breast Enlargement Clinic, went to check the closure notice.
Pei Lin and Pei Yu, coincidentally coming out, saw Xu Chang Shan. Pei Yu glared at him, blaming him for their current situation.
Xu's grandfather, of course, didn't take it personally. Pei Lin asked Pei Yu to put the things in the car and greeted him, "Mr. Xu, I was just about to come and tell you. We've closed the store."
Xu Chang Shan replied, "If you need any help, just let me know."
"Mr. Xu, you've already done us a great favor. If you hadn't treated those clients, we couldn't have resolved this dispute. Thank you, Director Xu, for your mediation."
Xu Chang Shan said that as neighbors, they should help each other and encouraged Pei Lin not to be discouraged by this setback. Although he disapproved of Ting Mei's actions, he felt sympathy for their current situation.
Xu Chang Shan thought Pei Lin would be deeply affected by the loss and closure, but her demeanor was calm. He realized she was not as weak as he had imagined, showing the resilience of a bamboo in the mountains. Even Xu's grandfather admired her mindset.
Pei Lin said she would visit Mr. Xu again. Pei Yu, already impatient, didn't understand what they had to talk about.
Pei Lin started the car and drove away. Pei Yu still looked back at their store, feeling dejected about the failure of their business.
Pei Lin told Pei Yu to think positively, that a setback could be a blessing in disguise. With Ting Mei's headquarters in trouble, they would be affected regardless of the collective allergy incident.
Pei Yu couldn't be as optimistic. The initial investment was nearly two million, and the business was just starting to pick up when this major issue arose. Not only had they not recovered their investment, but they also had to compensate the clients. This was a significant loss.
Pei Lin believed the situation wasn't as dire. Although the initial investment was substantial, they could recover most of it by selling the store. Not all clients demanded refunds, and if everything went smoothly, the final loss could be controlled within 500,000.
Pei Yu still held her view, blaming Huichun Hall for their troubles. Pei Lin dropped her off at the neighborhood entrance, and someone called about the store transfer. Pei Yu screened the interested parties and decided to sell the store to a clinic.
Although the transfer price was lower than others, Pei Yu chose it because she couldn't pretend nothing had happened. She thought of Xu Chun Liang's arrogant look, vowing to make him regret underestimating her.

I believe the handling of Ting Mei Breast Enlargement Clinic is reasonable. Pei Lin is an important character in the story and will cause significant conflicts later. She hasn't completed her mission, so it's not logical to completely destroy her yet.
I'm starting work tomorrow, but I'm being indulgent today. Here's the fourth update, counting as the 4000 monthly ticket update. If we reach 4100 today, I'll update the fifth chapter!
