"Shut up!" Nie Tianxing's face twisted in anger, his bloodshot eyes sweeping over Situ Nan and the others, tears of blood streaming down his face.

Situ Nan and his disciples were frightened by Nie Tianxing's appearance, their eyes also welling with blood tears. They had never seen such a scene before.

"Junior Brother, he... he's crying blood tears," one disciple said, his voice filled with concern.

"What are you afraid of? This is the result of his own despair. A waste is still a waste. Does he think that despair will bring a miracle? How ignorant. Such a waste will never stand up," Situ Nan sneered. A cultivator who couldn't produce true essence was not worth his fear, especially since he had already broken through to the Golden Core stage two months ago, becoming one of the outstanding young talents of the Heavenly Dao Sect.

"Spit!"

Injured and deeply hurt by Situ Nan's insults, Nie Tianxing's heart was overwhelmed with anger, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.

"Tianxing! Tianxing! What's wrong with you?" Kuangmie, who had been cultivating in the back mountain, suddenly heard a roar from the bamboo grove and rushed over. Seeing Nie Tianxing spitting blood, he panicked and ran over.

Kuangmie's eyes blazed with anger as he glared at Situ Nan and the others, shouting, "What did you do to Tianxing? You bastards!"

"I didn't expect you to actually consider a cultivator who can't produce true essence a friend!" a disciple said, his eyes flashing with disdain. Kuangmie's concern for Nie Tianxing was beyond their expectations.

"Hmph! Tianxing is not a waste! In my eyes, you are even less than a waste! Get the bamboo and get out!" Kuangmie roared, his eyes blazing with fury.

"A mere early-stage Qi Condensation realm cultivator dares to look down on us? And even dare to insult us? I think you're asking for death!" a disciple said with a dark face, stepping closer to Kuangmie.

"Tianxing! Bear with it for a moment, I'll take you back to heal after this," Kuangmie gently placed Nie Tianxing down and glared at the disciple.

"Oh? You have the guts to fight me? Excellent! Go ahead and make your move," the disciple said arrogantly, completely disregarding Kuangmie.

"Bang!"

Without a word, Kuangmie stomped the ground, his figure quickly turning into a black line as he shot forward, delivering a powerful punch. The disciple did not back down, quickly countering with a punch. With a dull thud, both of them retreated two steps, evenly matched.

The disciple was slightly surprised, "Oh? Not bad, you actually blocked my punch."

"Hmph! Don't underestimate me!" Kuangmie coldly snorted. That punch was his full strength, and his fist still felt a sharp pain.

"Again! This time I won't hold back!" the disciple sneered, his eyes flashing with cruelty as he quickly charged at Kuangmie.

"Kuangmie! Be careful!" Nie Tianxing, who had regained some consciousness, warned.

"Hmph! Brat, let's see if you can block this!" the disciple coldly snorted, his eyes still filled with disdain as he punched directly at Kuangmie.

"Bang!"

Kuangmie was not a coward. He would not let anyone bully him. Although he knew the person in front of him was stronger, he would not back down. With a furious punch, a loud thud echoed, and a wave of intense pain shot through his arm, sending him flying several meters away!

"Kuangmie!" Nie Tianxing's face changed drastically, and he couldn't help but cry out in shock.

"Hmph! To dare be arrogant in front of me, you're just a bit stronger than this waste. Today, I'll show you the consequences of your arrogance!" the disciple coldly snorted, quickly charging at the injured Kuangmie.

"Bang, bang, bang!"

The disciple mercilessly attacked Kuangmie, punching and kicking with incredible speed. Kuangmie had no chance to defend himself, and he was beaten to a pulp, spitting out mouthfuls of blood, his face pale.

"Stop!" Nie Tianxing roared, watching Kuangmie being severely injured, which reminded him of the day Lingyue was killed in the bamboo grove. The sense of powerlessness and helplessness surged in his heart.

"Hmph! Stop? Do you have the right to say that to me?" the disciple sneered, his eyes sweeping over Nie Tianxing with disdain.

"Enough, Xiao Yun. They are after all disciples of Elder Yuan. We shouldn't go too far! Quickly get the bamboo and return; the elder is waiting!" Yang Changfeng said, worried that Elder Yuan might blame them.

Nie Tianxing struggled to stand up, staggering to Kuangmie's side, and asked with concern, "Kuangmie, how are you? Are your injuries serious?"

"Cough, cough! Haha, I'm fine, just... just a minor injury," Kuangmie forced a smile, but his grimacing face couldn't hide the intense pain.

"Come on! I'll help you back," Nie Tianxing said urgently, his heart filled with pain and helplessness. The same had happened to Lingyue, and now to Kuangmie. The sense of failure that few could understand deeply hurt Nie Tianxing's heart.

"Why? Why is this happening? Is it the fate of a waste to be bullied? Why must I endure this pain? Why?" Nie Tianxing's heart roared in madness. He was just quietly staying in the bamboo grove, and even that was not spared from humiliation. It was hard for him to swallow this.

Back at their residence, Nie Tianxing quickly found healing medicine for Kuangmie. Seeing Nie Tianxing's worried expression, Kuangmie was deeply moved. Treating others sincerely would earn their sincerity in return. This feeling made Kuangmie forget his pain.

"Tianxing, don't give up. I don't believe you are a waste. You must pull yourself together!" Kuangmie said through his pain, his eyes fixed on Nie Tianxing. He had learned everything from Elder Yuan.

After a long while, Nie Tianxing was in tears. He then nodded silently, "Kuangmie, thank you for taking care of me these past six months! It's an honor to know you!"

After saying that, he left alone, looking extremely desolate.

Returning to the room he hadn't stayed in for six months, Nie Tianxing was filled with guilt and self-reproach. Because he was a waste, he had caused Lingyue's death. Because he was a waste, he had caused Kuangmie's severe injuries.

"Because of me, Yue'er died. Because of me, Kuangmie was severely injured. Must everyone related to me suffer? Why must I be tormented like this? Yue'er, what should I do? I can't hold on anymore. Living is so tiring. I yearn for power, but calling to heaven and earth brings no response. Yue'er, I want to be with you, but I don't have the face to see you," Nie Tianxing said, filled with sorrow. Loneliness, desolation, sadness, despair, self-reproach, and guilt flooded his heart.

"Little guy, are you giving up? That's not like you!" Just as Nie Tianxing was in extreme despair, an old, deep voice laughed.
