Gilne-sama seemed a bit restless and asked again.

"Tim, how have you been lately?"

"Um... d-do you really want to know about my recent condition?"

"Yes, has anyone been bullying you? Is your work difficult, or do you have any complaints?"

Gilne-sama looked straight into my eyes and spoke these words.

Even though we are only about two years apart, she seems much more mature than I am.

Not to mention, I am slightly taller than her.

"H-how could I have any complaints! Just being in such a prestigious guild is the ultimate happiness for someone like me!"

"Really? If you have any complaints, I want you to tell me. I will do anything for you."

Gilne-sama looked up at my face with a slightly worried expression.

Her gaze made my heart ache.

I do have a wish, though it's not exactly a complaint.

Indeed, I am just a handyman and get bullied by the adventurers every day, but that's not a problem.

Gilne-sama took a step closer to me, looking a bit pleased.

I turned my face away, embarrassed by her beautiful face so close to mine.

"I want to take on a quest. And... I want to improve my skills as an adventurer."

When she heard my wish, Gilne-sama showed some reluctance.

I punched my chest with my clenched fist.

Gilne-sama held her head for a moment, then suddenly brightened and clapped her hands.
