As the evening glow blazed like fire, the surroundings of the cold, deep pond were deathly silent. Even the birds from the nearby mountains were unwilling to approach, as if this place was a place of ill omen.

The cold environment was not something all creatures enjoyed. This hundred-acre pond, deep and bottomless, was filled with caves of unknown destinations at its depths.

There were no fish, shrimp, or crabs here, only the Bi Lin Li (a type of fish) lived. However, now, even the traces of the Bi Lin Li seemed hard to find.

Suddenly, from a hundred feet away in a forest, a rustling sound was heard, and then a white-robed teenager, about sixteen or seventeen years old, walked out.

He had a clear and refined face, but his brows carried a hint of arrogance and frivolity. After he emerged from the forest, the rustling sound continued behind him.

A second white-robed teenager of similar age walked out of the forest, followed by a third. Three white-robed teenagers emerged from the forest one after another.

"Senior Brother Wang, it's been two days. That good-for-nothing couldn't have died in the Bi Shui Han Tan (Cold Water Pond), right?" one of the white-robed teenagers said, somewhat panicked.

"Yes, we've searched every place within a few dozen miles for the past two days, but we haven't found any trace of that good-for-nothing!" another teenager said anxiously.

The leading teenager turned and scanned the two behind him, speaking in a deep voice, "You weaklings, even if that boy Gu Fei really died in the pond, what does it have to do with us?"

"How... How can it not be related? His mission jade token..."

"Enough, I know that without you saying it. It's such a hassle!" One of the teenagers wanted to say more but was cut off by Senior Brother Wang.

This Senior Brother Wang was Wang Yuanzhi.

"I heard that Gu Fei's master, Wan Xiancheng, is about to come out of seclusion. If something really happened to Gu Fei..." another teenager couldn't help but look at Wang Yuanzhi with trepidation and speak in a low voice.

These two teenagers were not like Wang Yuanzhi, who came from a cultivation family and had a solid backing. If something happened, he could easily escape. However, these two teenagers had ordinary backgrounds and were only taken in by the Tai Xuan Sect because of their good physical attributes.

So, if something happened, they would be the ones to suffer. How could they not be worried and anxious?

"Everything is on me, what are you afraid of?" Wang Yuanzhi couldn't help but feel a bit angry, his handsome face turning stern, and the anger in his eyes swept over the two teenagers without restraint.

"Yes, yes, yes, with Senior Brother protecting us, what do we have to worry about?" The two white-robed teenagers quickly put on smiling faces and said in unison.

"Let's go! We'll check by the pond again. Damn it, no sign of him alive or dead. Did that good-for-nothing Gu Fei just vanish into thin air?"

Wang Yuanzhi's demeanor as a young master immediately intimidated the two junior brothers, and the three of them headed towards the Bi Shui Han Tan, a hundred feet away.

The closer they got to the silent pond, the colder it became. The rocks under their feet gradually turned black.

Reaching the edge of the pond, they jumped onto a large, pitch-black rock. Cold air rushed towards them from the pond. Although they were prepared, Wang Yuanzhi and the others still shivered at the sight of the dark, murky pond.

The cold air from the pond wasn't unbearable, but it made the three of them feel somewhat uncomfortable.

"Even if he drowned in the pond, the body should have floated up!" Wang Yuanzhi scanned the surface of the water, muttering to himself. There wasn't even a ripple on the water.

Wang Yuanzhi and the others carefully examined the surroundings of the pond, but as night approached, they found nothing.

Just as they were about to leave, the Bi Shui Han Tan suddenly rippled, and a large number of bubbles began to rise from a spot near the cliff.

"What's happening?" Wang Yuanzhi and the others were immediately alarmed and looked with surprise at the place where the bubbles were rising.

Then, with a "splash," a figure emerged from the pond amidst the splashing water, shocking Wang Yuanzhi and the others.

"You..." When they saw the person who had leaped out of the pond and onto a black rock, Wang Yuanzhi and the others were stunned, their eyes wide and mouths agape, unable to speak.

The person who had emerged from the water, completely naked, was someone they knew very well, someone they often bullied.

This person was none other than Gu Fei, whom they had been secretly searching for the past two days.

It turned out that the pond in the cave, where the Black Water Mystic Snake fed, was connected to the Cold Water Pond above, with no side passages in between. However, even so, Gu Fei had to exert a lot of effort to get out of the cave and into the pond.

Gu Fei did not bring the broken ancient sword out of the cave, nor did he intend to let others know about the secret of the Imperishable Body in the cave.

The broken sword was no ordinary object; if the sect members discovered it, he would find it hard to explain. However, he did bring out the demon core of the Black Blood Mystic Snake.

"Is it Wang Yuanzhi?" When Gu Fei emerged from the pond, he noticed someone outside, but he didn't expect it to be Wang Yuanzhi and his two cronies.

"Gu Fei? I thought you were dead." Wang Yuanzhi was shocked, but after a moment of shock, he quickly regained his composure, his eyes filled with disdain as he looked at Gu Fei.

"Hmph!" Gu Fei took a step forward, and in a flash, he was right in front of Wang Yuanzhi, throwing a punch directly at him.

Gu Fei said nothing. With his greatly increased strength, the person he most wanted to beat was Wang Yuanzhi. He didn't expect to run into Wang Yuanzhi right away, so he didn't say a word and just started punching.

"Whoosh!" The wind from the punch stirred, and a fist appeared in front of Wang Yuanzhi, rapidly growing in his pupils.

"So fast!" Wang Yuanzhi was startled and quickly leaned back, pushing off the ground with his legs to retreat.

Gu Fei followed closely, changing his punch to a palm strike, and with a "bang," hit Wang Yuanzhi's chest.

"Ugh!" Wang Yuanzhi let out a惨叫, and with a "thud," he was slammed onto the black rocks on the ground. He continued sliding for about three yards before stopping.

"Wang Yuanzhi, how does it feel to be beaten? This is just the beginning!" Thinking of the humiliation he had endured, Gu Fei's eyes flashed with a cold, sharp gaze.

He coldly scanned the two white-robed teenagers standing dumbfounded on the side and said in a chilling voice, "If I were you, I wouldn't dare to make a move."

Gu Fei's words were filled with confidence, a confidence that made the two teenagers hesitate. Confidence comes from one's own strength.

"You, take off your outer robe and throw it over here." Gu Fei pointed to one of the teenagers and said coldly, his tone leaving no room for refusal.

Under the intense and terrifying gaze of Gu Fei, the teenager obediently took off his outer robe and threw it to Gu Fei.

Gu Fei caught the white robe and put it on. After all, fighting naked wasn't a dignified thing to do. He intended to give Wang Yuanzhi a good beating today.

"Gu Fei, you've angered me." On the broken stones three yards away, Wang Yuanzhi slowly got up from the ground, a trace of blood at the corner of his mouth.

He was injured, and being injured by a cultivation good-for-nothing like Gu Fei made him feel immense shame and rage.

"So what if I've angered you?" Gu Fei, with his greatly increased strength, was no longer afraid of Wang Yuanzhi. He looked at Wang Yuanzhi with a mocking smile, his disdain and disgust clearly visible in his eyes.
