“Don’t be so conceited! Who would want to violate you!? Take a good look at that shabby washboard that you call a chest, it has no sex appeal!” Merlin, with a condescending attitude, gave a heavy blow to Alice’s ego.

“You…you you you… what did you say!?” Alice’s face turned bright red, feeling rather indignant. The thing she hates the most is when others mock her for being flat-chested.

“I’ve seen a lot of women, there’s no way I’d be aroused by that landing strip that you call a chest!” Merlin pointed at Alice and uttered with a fiendish smile, “For you to think that I would want to violate you, what a joke. That flat chest of yours can either be used as a washboard to wash clothes, or as a weapon to bash people’s heads in! I feel no attraction towards that tool of war! What’s more, I suspect that it can cause chafing!”

“Who… who are you calling a washboard! It’s just that you can’t see my actual chest due to the mythril armor!” Feeling humiliated, Alice made up an excuse, so as not to admit that she is flat-chested.

“Are you not ashamed of using the mythril armor as an excuse? This is even more of a loss of face! You should apologize to the dead Hero predecessors, who must be rolling in their graves, you washboard Hero!” Merlin flipped out a little. This is the first time that he saw a person that is so adamant about saving face. Any fool can tell that she is flat-chested, yet she’s stubbornly puffing up her chest.

“I’m not lying! Don’t speak of things that you don’t know! I’m not a washboard Hero! My chest is bigger than you think!” Alice gritted her teeth in anger, feeling that the taunts are more unbearable than the violation that is to come.

Her anger slowly rose, and she screamed in her heart — a warrior can be killed, but not humiliated! Stop saying that my chest is small!

“Um… your armor is male, right?” Merlin glanced at Alice’s chest. It seems to be valuable.

“So what if it is? Why would you care!” The more Alice looks at Merlin, the more she feels like he’s an eyesore.

“It fits well…” Merlin stifled a laugh and supplemented, “I mean, the chest part fits well.”

“It… it’s okay…” Alice replied, puzzled.

“Fool, I’m saying that your washboard is as flat as a man’s chest! If your chest really wasn’t small, it would feel tight, right? Ha-ha-ha…” Merlin’s heartless laughter made Alice’s face darken. “You thought that, with your laughable chest, I would violate you? Bah! What nerve!”

Alice was so ashamed that her face turned bright red like a ripe apple. She had no choice but to change the subject.

“Since you don’t want to violate me, then what do you want from me!?”

“Can you not see?” Merlin spread his hands and said boldly, “We are going to cross the strait of Orkney! Go to the land of Great Britain!”

“Impossible.” Alice retorted without thinking.

When the crusaders departed from the port of Bristol, they had hundreds of people rowing together and the support from wind magic. It took them a day and a night to reach the Death Marshes.

Of course, apart from the speed itself, there is another important reason why it only took them this much time to cross the strait, and that is because they haven’t met any sea monsters or maneater sharks.

The Church’s battleships were coated with dragon dung, dispelling many dangers.

That’s why Alice alleged that it is impossible for the two of them to cross the strait of Orkney.

Even if the two of them row and make a beeline for the nearest territory of Great Britain, they can’t beat the sea monsters they’ll meet en route.

In the sea, sea monsters are virtually invincible, and even Saint tier individuals will find it difficult to defeat them.

“Why is it impossible?” Merlin frowned, feeling that crossing the strait should not be a big deal.

Alice hesitated, thinking that they are in the same boat. They both want to leave the Death Marshes. It seems that they can cooperate.

Besides, Merlin doesn’t want to do anything bad to me. Maybe he just wants a companion to cross the strait together.

Alice came to a realization. As long as she can leave this god forsaken place, then it’s not like she cannot cooperate with the Demon Lord. Thus, she answered Merlin.

“The strait of Orkney is really wide, and our physical strength is limited. Even if we row alternately, we still may be exhausted halfway.”

“Miss washboard, there seems to be a misunderstanding…” Merlin sighed and said seriously —

“You alone are in charge of rowing.”

“I am only in charge of welcoming the sea breeze…”
