Pain comes in many forms.

The burning pain felt by the sensitive nerve endings in the skin is the most common.

But now, this dull pain coming from within the bones seemed to penetrate the soul!

He couldn't move at all, not daring to use even a bit of strength, and could only lie flat on the ground, shouting from deep in his throat. But the shouting abruptly stopped, because as soon as he started, Bak smiled and reached out to touch the middle-aged man's arm, intensifying the pain, which immediately made him stop. Large beads of sweat seeped out from his skin, and he glared at Bak with venom: "You..." He wanted to say something to save face, but he hadn't completely lost his reason. Now that he was like meat on a chopping board, he shouldn't talk big.

Bak, relaxed, squatted down and reached into the man's pockets, first finding an expensive cigarette. He took a golden lighter, lit the cigarette, and casually threw it on the man's belly: "You have a good relationship with the police station, right? Fine, I'll help you call the police..."

He reached out again and fished out a high-end phone from the man's pocket: "Look, I'm so poor I don't even have a phone, I have nothing, just a few relatives. You, with your fancy car, actually dared to think about them. I have no qualms, I will do whatever it takes to protect them." He skillfully dialed the police on the phone and extended it to the man's mouth: "Speak for yourself... it's being recorded, let me see what your name is..."

He flipped open the wallet and found the driver's license: "Wu Tianming... hmm, oh, you work for the railway too, I've heard of you. Your father seems to be an old cadre. Alright, I know how to find you. At your age, you must have a wife and kids. Why are you picking a fight with someone like me?"

Wu Tianming's fat face twitched as he spoke into the microphone: "Sorry... I dialed the wrong number."

Bak hung up the phone, gestured, and took out the driver's license, throwing the wallet back: "I'm not interested in your money, but this little BMW 3 Series is now collateral with me. Whenever you come to your senses, you can take it back." He picked up the car key.

Wu Tianming's attitude had completely softened. This calm young man showed no excitement from start to finish, and the more he acted nonchalant, the more it made Wu Tianming feel terrified, as if he were being watched by a venomous snake. He stammered, "I've come to my senses, I've come to my senses!"

Bak stood up and smiled back: "I meant when I come to my senses!" He bent down, grabbed Wu Tianming's deformed elbow, and with a pull and a push, realigned the dislocated joint. Wu Tianming screamed like a pig being slaughtered, and his arm suddenly recovered. Bak still smiled: "To be honest, if I do this a few more times, or if I use a bit more force, or if the doctor isn't skilled enough, your arm will be permanently damaged. Behave yourself and be a good boss, don't pretend to be a gangster. You can't handle techniques like this. Your arm will be a bit inflamed for the next few days, so don't use too much force."

He reached out and patted the man's face arrogantly, then went back to the restaurant to help the dislocated arm of the muscular man, and slowly returned to the restaurant. The receptionist's smile was so wide it seemed to weigh a couple of pounds!

For Bak, this wasn't some magical technique. For a military doctor who could manually realign broken bones in the field, this was standard orthopedic surgery, just more direct and ruthless than what ordinary surgeons would do.

The children were still enjoying their ice cream, and Liu Shufen looked content. Ba Dacheng, however, still glanced outside, unable to see the fight due to the screen door, but he could see Wu Tianming and the two muscular men leaving dejectedly from the window: "Did you finish talking?" Because there wasn't a speck of dust on Bak.

Bak lied casually: "Yeah, he thinks I'm talented and decided to lend me his car."

Ba Dacheng wasn't stupid: "You're lying!"

Bak tried to bluff: "Dad, believe that I have a clear conscience and integrity. Some people look down on others, but they're just dogs. Just enjoy the show."

Ba Dacheng, who had been a mechanic all his life, didn't say anything. He had always tried to live with a clear conscience and integrity, never having the chance to be arrogant. His son, who had sold kebabs for a few years, seemed different.

This different Bak had made some money in the past few days. After the meal, he continued to show off: "Now to the big mall! We're all buying new clothes!"

To be honest, Bak had no intention of living a hidden, secretive life. Beautiful children should be dressed beautifully, and his parents should enjoy a good life. He wore old clothes because they were comfortable. Since he wanted to live openly, he might as well do it cleanly and brightly. He was very good at spending money!

Leaving the restaurant, the sensible child climbed onto the tricycle and reached out to pull Liu Shufen up, but Bak shook the car remote, beeping twice: "We're taking this..."

The children, being children, cheered and pulled Liu Shufen over. Ba Dacheng looked at his son again, still a bit disbelieving. Bak had already opened the passenger door and, with the grace of a waiter, bent over with one hand behind his back: "Please..."

The two little girls giggled and mimicked his gesture, bending over to open the door for Liu Shufen to get in the back.

Liu Shufen was overjoyed, hugging the children as she sat down. Ba Dacheng was still a bit uncomfortable, checking if his clothes were sweaty. Fortunately, they had been in the air-conditioned restaurant for so long that they were dry, but he still sat on the edge, not daring to lean back.

Bak turned the white BMW 3 Series, not really thinking it was that great, but the standard size seemed perfect for a family of five, and he was quite satisfied.

Ba Dacheng watched his son skillfully start the car, drive smoothly onto the road, and the cool air from the air conditioner made him relax. Still worried, he asked: "He... won't cause more trouble?"

Bak laughed: "Dad... you need to understand this kind of person. They are pampered and bully others, but they're only at that level. They're not capable of killing or having millions. This car is just collateral. If he behaves badly, I'll smash it or turn it into scrap. He'll be heartbroken, and every time he causes trouble, he'll have to pay a price. If he doesn't solve the problem next time, the price will be even higher." He didn't say that the pain would be even worse, which was the standard battlefield mindset.

Ba Dacheng had never thought this way before. Looking back at his happy family, his mood finally relaxed with his son's expression. He began to envy the car, touching it: "It seems nice? How much does this car cost? Work hard, and when I'm old, if I can ride in a car you bought, I'll die content."

Bak rolled his eyes: "Your expectations... are too low."

On a scorching summer day, in the cool car, with comfortable suspension, and the comfort after lunch, the two little girls soon fell asleep in Liu Shufen's arms. Even Ba Dacheng was swaying and humming to the old songs his son had deliberately chosen.

Liu Shufen was already very satisfied.

Based on his memory before leaving the country, Bak drove to the city center. But it had to be said, the changes in the past few years were indeed significant, so much so that he was a bit excited.

Because abroad, he really couldn't see such dramatic changes. The better European countries maintained the status quo, and war-torn countries were even regressing. Only by returning to the country could he feel the sense of rapid progress.

Of course, the fast-paced life everywhere was a stark contrast to the slow pace in Eastern Europe.

Bak understood the principle of gradual progress and didn't go directly to a high-end clothing store. He parked the car outside a popular casual clothing store, smiling and giving money to the two sleepy sisters and their mother to buy clothes for themselves and him, while he and his father smoked outside. He also needed to feel the changes in this big city.

But the adjacent sports clothing store reminded him of Fang Lingying. When he first met her, the whole carriage was filled with the stench of sweat, which forced her to buy him a new set of sports clothes in such a store.

This time, he really felt he should thank Fang Lingying. Giving him a ride was just being kind, but vouching for him meant taking some responsibility.

So when the cheerful little beggar brought out a set of clothes for him to see, saying they could be returned if he didn't like them after trying them on, Bak went to change in front of many people.

Because after washing away the dirt that deliberately obscured their appearance, the twin sisters indeed shone like two pearls!

A jelly-pink T-shirt with a chest print, a white water-blue ice flower short skirt, and a pair of yellow thick-soled foam sandals.

Such a simple and identical outfit.

Perhaps the two precocious and sensible children had chosen cheaper clothes, but the simpler the clothes, the more they highlighted their natural beauty, especially the younger sister, Zhao Nan. Just because her hair was a bit longer, with a fresh and slightly confused look, and a clean and delicate face, she had a more shy and cautious demeanor compared to her sister. Many people, regardless of gender, stopped to look at her.

The more active and outgoing Yi Nan pulled Bak in, showing no restraint in her affection, while Zhao Nan suddenly looked relieved and hid behind Bak on the other side.

It really made people want to push this rough, tanned man aside and take his place!

Both men and women thought so.

Bak wasn't afraid of these murderous glares and calmly went to the changing room with the clothes. Liu Shufen, who had paid, returned with a pair of sports shoes. The little beggar squatted by the curtain of the changing room, slipped the shoes in through the gap, and casually took out Bak's dirty flip-flops, which anyone would pinch their nose to throw away.

But Yi Nan, who was used to rummaging through garbage, smiled and put the dirty flip-flops into the plastic bag of new clothes without changing her expression, as if they were something valuable, and Zhao Nan didn't mind, giggling and even sniffing them!

The two elf-like short-haired beauties, squatting outside the changing room, passing the dirty flip-flops back and forth, was a stark contrast that simply blinded the people around them!

What a waste!
