Chapter 12

Lian Tianyin and the rest were completely frozen from the shock of the sight they were met with.

Nothing made sense—Ah Fu’s sister was somehow kidnapped, forced to be a concubine, but then within a few days, quickly adapted to her new life and rose to become the head of the family. Ah Fu couldn’t accept it. He refused to believe that his gentle, virtuous sister turned out to be the head while Master Drew is just some jitterbug turned into a submissive and listens to all of Maria’s commands.

“This Master actually doesn’t want you to give back the money bag that you stole…” Master Drew spit out the ball gag stuffed in his mouth, slowly rising from the ground, visibly less intimidating to Ah Fu in the presence of Maria’s powerful aura. “Maria doesn’t want you to use that bag of money to pay the ransom to bring her back, but let me go and get it.”

Upon hearing this, Lin Tianyin felt like vomiting blood, with Milona and Gargaf equally dumbfounded. Ah Fu stared incredulously at the sister. The memory of her beautiful smile appeared in his mind, “Why?” Ah Fu started crying and shouting at her, “Jiejie [1], why are you doing this? Where is the jiejie who would gently encourage me and stay with me?”

His sister finally opened Pandora’s box, now we know how things led up to this! Lin Tianyin couldn’t help but curse internally. While Lin Tianyin expected something more obscene, she certainly didn’t expect things to turn out this way. Knowing that Maria herself ordered Master Drew to take back the money bag Ah Fu stole in the beginning—and Master Drew listened to her command! This is indeed a bit appalling…

“Just how many times do I have to tell you to leave me alone and learn to live on your own? You never listen…” Maria sighed softly. She tilted her head and told Ah Fu, ”I also didn’t want you to find out about this…”

Hearing Maria made Lin Tianyin sure that she changed for the worse; she implied that it’s better for Ah Fu to live by himself so that the beautiful image he has of his sister wouldn’t change. Is that really the limit to how intelligent the characters in this novel can be? She understands their logic, but it’s still so shameless…

Meanwhile, after suffering from such a big blow, Ah Fu looked like he was about to shrivel up. Lin Tianyin couldn’t really say anything, his sister turned out to be such a person that even ten horses cannot pull her back to her old life… Well, it can be considered a happy ending—they don’t have to save anyone from Master Drew, and he even magnanimously said that since they know the truth, he will give Ah Fu the money bag back! He should take it and spend it however he wants, the prince doesn’t know who they were anyway.

With that in mind, Lin Tianyin could finally breathe, thinking things should almost be over, right? So they planned to persuade poor Ah Fu, who was still frozen in place, that at least this can end relatively well.

“Well, Ah Fu…”

Lin Tianyin was about to open her mouth to try to persuade him as best as she could when suddenly, another voice chimed in. Angrily.

“Are you kidding me…”

Lin Tianyin turned her head and saw Milona beside her holding the wooden stick she brought from outside. Milona lowered her head so nobody could see her expression. Lin Tianyin and Gagaf were surprised to find that Milona’s body was slightly trembling.

Huh? Is she okay?

Lin Tianyin noticed something was off about Milona and was immediately alert. This girl has been uncharacteristically irritable since she entered the house, but she had easily calmed down just now, is she starting to act up again?

What is wrong with her today, I have never seen her angry before…

Lin Tianyin was just lost in thought for less than a second, until Milona suddenly jumped up and glared angrily at Maria, shouting, “Miss Maria! How could you do this? Ah Fu trusted you and thought of you all this time, but you… You can’t just break Ah Fu’s heart like this!”

“You’re the worst!” Milona’s mosquito-bitten face became more distorted from anger. She glared at Master Drew angrily and shouted at him too, “Why do you blindly listen to her anyway?!”

Seeing that it was starting to get personal, Master Drew scrambled to wave his hands at the angry Milona. Gagaf frowned tightly, both he and Lin Tian Yin felt that even if Milona confronted Maria again, nothing would change and decided to try and calm her down. They didn’t even have the chance to do that, however. Milona did something that Lin Tianyin could never have dreamed of.

“So all we’ve done is waste time…? So we’ve been completely played? Oh… this is unacceptable! Unacceptable!! Ahhh-!!” Milona eventually broke down and started screaming, she jumped up and down in place, raising the wooden stick in her hands, and broke the large vase placed in the doorway. Then as if being a complete Wu Shuang [2], screamed and rushed out of the room.

“Ah ah ah ah ah ah – ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah – !”

Mi, what’s wrong with Milona?!

This sudden behaviour stunned them all. Lin Tian Yin and Gagaf stood frozen in place, petrified. Even Ah Fu was dumbfounded. Then from outside of the room, there came sounds of objects breaking in succession.

Master Drew froze for a full ten seconds, then also jumped up in shock, panicking and yelling, “She smashed the fine porcelain vase shipped from the Eastern Road! She is also smashing other porcelain! Quick, someone stop her!” Because of the damage done towards the expensive property, one after another Master Drew shouted in horror. Maria was frozen in place not knowing what to do, and even Ah Fu forgot to grieve over his sister’s betrayal. All they could see was Master Drew bound by a belt rushing out of the room, shouting to call the staff.

Right now, Lin Tianyin was the most shocked out of them all, Milona’s behaviour made her forget that the girl was actually originally a small white lotus but looking at her tolerance slot that seems to be lower than everyone else now… She has blackened… this is a disaster…

But Lin Tianyin really didn’t know what to do. Even Gagaf looked helpless. They really wanted to pretend that they didn’t know who Milona was, but Master Drew didn’t give them the opportunity. After summoning the servants, he reached out and angrily pointed at Lin Tianyin and Gagaf while yelling, “Arrest them as well!”

“Huh? Why?!” Lin Tianyin suddenly exclaimed, “We didn’t do anything!”

“Quiet! You two are in cahoots with that crazy- Wait, stop!” Just as Master Drew shouted at Lin Tianyin in anger, another porcelain broke.

Seeing the servants swarming towards them, Lin Tianyin stiffly twitched the corners of her mouth and decisively gave the command, “Run!”

So the three of them, along with the monkey, rushed towards the other end of the corridor, but of course, they still didn’t forget to go and get the raging Milona. Lin Tianyin watched speechlessly as Milona, not far ahead, enabled her Wu Shuang and smashed every jar she saw, until the door to a room next to Milona suddenly opened.

“What’s going on? Why is it so noisy?” A refreshing voice rang out and a blonde youth in pyjamas walked out of the room. At the sight of that person’s face, Lin Tianyin cried out in her heart.

Even without having seen that person’s appearance before, she still knew who the slender, handsome and beautiful young man in front of her really was – the story depicted him as the only one with blond hair, and that was the first prince Rey who was also the male protagonist.
