“What? I’m not tired!” Milona is still in high spirits, and suddenly took out a deck of ‘Bolu’ cards from her pocket, and happily said to Mr. Ruka, “Anyway, the journey is still long, why don’t we play Bulu to kill some time!”
“No, this… I don’t know how to…,” Mr. Ruka said with a raspy voice and reluctantly smiled.
“That’s okay, I’ll teach you Mr. Ruka!” Milona was still full of energy.
“This… Look at my hand…” Mr. Ruka was already starting to break out in cold sweat.
“It’s okay! You can play with one hand!”
“But I’m also a little tired…”
“So let’s talk about Mr. Ruka’s neighbor’s kid, what’s he like?”
“…”
The old man who looked like a pirate was trying to resist Milona’s harassment, while Shanoa and Gagaf sat on the other side, their eyes looking out the window, pretending like they saw nothing.
“Speaking of which Shanoa, you’ve lost a lot of weight recently,” Gagaf said as he looked out the window at the sea view.
“Really? Thank you, thank you, I’m trying to lose weight,” Shanoa responded expressionlessly.
Mr. Ruka, who couldn’t stand Milona’s ceaseless pestering, excused himself saying he had to go to pee, and escaped the cabin with a friendly wave from Milona. He didn’t come back for a long time.
“Strange, how can Mr. Ruka not come back yet?” After nearly another hour, Milona, who had been idle for a long time, began to look around with her chin held up in confusion. Shanoa and Gagaf was happy about it but neither of them were willing to discuss again with Milona that the old man might not be a good man.
Seeing Milona looking around tirelessly, Shanoa casually replied, “He’s probably seasick and wanted to breath some fresh air.”
“Oh, is that so,” Milona, looking like she accepted Shanoa’s explanation, nodded her head with a smile and quieted down.
Shanoa finally breathed a sigh of relief. Considering that the boat ride was still long and there was no computer network for entertainment in this world, she decided to sleep to pass the time. The rocking of the boat was like a hypnotic cradle which soon exhausted Shanoa and led her to sleep. She vaguely remembered having a dream that she had traveled back to the Qing Dynasty, and a bald ladybug with a shiny head surrounded her saying that she had committed the crime of cheating the emperor by stealing his jujube cake and wanted to cut off her head… Shanoa screamed for the emperor to spare her life and finally woke up to violent shaking
“Shanoa, Shanoa, what happened to you?!” Shanoa opened her eyes and saw Milona was shaking her shoulders with a worried look on her face. Relieved and a bit embarrassed at the same time, only then did Shanoa realized she shouted her plea in her dreams while sleeping.
“It’s nothing, I had a nightmare,” Shanoa explained in a muddled manner.
“What kind of dream?” Milona looked like he wanted to get to the bottom of it, so Shanoa felt a burst of depression. In the original, she didn’t seem to be this annoying or did the presence of the prince and the head of the knights render her unable to express her emotions at all?
“It doesn’t matter, it’s just a normal nightmare.”
“Well, what was it?”
Shanoa was a bit broken, why did she keep asking questions? Was she really that bored from doing nothing? She looked at Gagaf for help, but even he looked like he couldn’t do anything about it. After hesitating for a while, he tried to change the topic, “Why don’t we go on the deck to feel the sea breeze, it’s boring to be in the cabin all the time.”
“Well, that’s true.” Milona nodded and finally stopped asking about Shanoa’s dream. When Shanoa relaxed, she felt that the ship wasn’t moving forward and was instead just still in the middle of the sea.
Shanoa thought it was an illusion, but the boat seemed to have really stopped moving. Gagaf also seemed to have realize this. The three suddenly looked at each other, and then with some hesitation he spoke, “Have you noticed that the ship stopped?”
“It seems like it really did, there can’t be a malfunction in the engine, right?” Shanoa frowned as they opened the door and returned to the cabin, finding that the other passengers had all walked out of the room one by one in confusion as well.
“Oh? Did the ship stop?”
“What’s going on, did something malfunction?”
The crowd was talking and discussing, and the deck was full of restless passengers. The ship had stopped for fifteen minutes without movement, and the sailors were all bewildered. Shanoa was wary and got ready to go to the captain’s room to see what had happened, however, at this time, not knowing who called out, the crowd looked in the direction that person pointed, and everyone saw a ship with a skeleton flag sailing slowly towards them.
“Oh my God! It’s a pirate ship, the pirates are coming!”
