Chapter 18

The "Skill Reset Potion" is a relatively easy item to make if you have a workbench and tools. However, it requires quite a lot of materials and can be somewhat troublesome.
Taking advantage of this, there was a player—so to speak—who made a profit by selling it. This player was always in a fixed spot, selling the same item. The price was roughly equivalent to that of a mid-level weapon, so it was a bit expensive for beginners and poor players, but it was highly valued.
The necessary items are: "Dewdrop of Paradise," "Rainbow Herb," "Fire Flower," "Earth Flower," "Wind Flower," "Water Flower," "Holy Water," "Cursed Water," "Magic Herb," "Magic Stone," and 100 "Pudding Jellies" (11 types in total, 110 items in all). For the items that couldn't be gathered from the "Elnogoa Herb Garden," I used items I bought along the way.
"Preparations are ready, then."
I looked at the tools and materials I had arranged on the workbench. ...It was very easy to do in the game, but how would it be in the real world now? Until now, I just had to choose the "Craft" option and follow it, and there were no problems.
"...The options won't appear, huh?"
My faint hope vanished instantly.
"Well, no choice. I know the process, so let's give it a try."
While the items were created just by selecting them, my body automatically moved to make the potion during that time. So, I knew the basic method.
The necessary tools are the "Elnogoa Alchemy Pot," the "Phoenix Chick's Fire Seed" (a magical item used to light the pot), and the "Ludia's Stirring Rod" (used to mix the items in the pot). I had all of them and could use them freely.
First, I had to light the "Phoenix Chick's Fire Seed." Since I had the memories of living in this world, I knew how to use the magical item without any problems.
It served as a stove, but its shape was different. A small flame burned, enveloped by mineral wings, and when the pot was placed on it, it floated gently.
"Wow, amazing! How does it float...?"
It was a scene I couldn't see in Japan. I was excited and looked at the "Phoenix Chick's Fire Seed" from various angles. The flame was on, but would it be hot if I touched it? I cautiously brought my hand close and felt a slight warmth.
...Maybe it's not hot if you touch it?
My curiosity piqued, I touched the mineral wings with my finger, but it wasn't hot. When I touched it slowly, a pleasant warmth spread from the point of contact.
"Interesting! So, the fire seed isn't hot either—ouch!!"
I had let my guard down because the area around the fire seed was safe to touch. As expected, the fire seed itself was hot.
There was a magical faucet, so I cooled my hand there and sighed in relief. It would be better to proceed without doing unnecessary things.
Feeling a bit strange, I picked up the items I had arranged. First, I put in 100 "Pudding Jellies," then the "Magic Stone," "Magic Herb," and so on, in order of their rarity.
...How long should I wait before adding the next ingredient?
I tilted my head and stirred the "Pudding Jellies" in circles, and they began to dissolve and thicken. When the amount was about half, it flashed.
"Whoa!"
It seemed that this was the signal to add the next item.
I added the "Magic Stone" and stirred it again. When it flashed, I added the "Magic Herb," and so on, continuing to add and mix the items. ...My arms were getting tired.
After adding the other items and the elemental flowers, it was time for the high-rarity items. I used the "Dewdrop of Paradise" and "Rainbow Herb" that I had just gathered from the Elnogoa Herb Garden. Gathering them was a bit troublesome, so they were high in rarity, but if you considered that, it was possible to gather them if you had a certain level.
When I added the "Rainbow Herb" to the pot, a shimmering rainbow light appeared on the surface of the water. However, it was only for a moment, and it quickly flashed, signaling to add the next item.
I wanted to see it longer, but it was disappointing.
The last ingredient to add was the "Dewdrop of Paradise."
When I put it in the pot, smoke began to rise.
"Huh!?"
I panicked at the phenomenon that hadn't happened before. Maybe I failed...! I was driven by anxiety, but I couldn't stop stirring the contents of the pot. As I stirred with a prayerful heart, a larger light was emitted than before.
"Whoa, what...? Did it work...?"
I cautiously peered into the pot and saw a potion bottle rolling around. The liquid that had been boiling had automatically filled the bottle. It was convenient.
"It worked... but..."
The contents were a slightly dark blue, a color that made me hesitate to drink it. Honestly, it didn't look delicious, and I thought it would taste bad.
I decided to open the cap and smell it. Since I used "Pudding Jellies," I thought it might smell good. ...But it smelled more like grass.
...Yeah, it's probably not tasty!
"But, I have to drink it. To defeat the boss... here goes!"
So, I pinched my nose and drank the "Skill Reset Potion" in one go. This way, I could endure the bad taste.
"...! Ugh, yuck! Ah, ah..."
I almost teared up. As expected, the aftertaste was like rust, and my throat was hot. I don't think this should be classified as a drink.
I rinsed my mouth with the water I had and stuck out my tongue to replace the air in my mouth.
Once I calmed down, I checked my "Status."
The effect of the "Skill Reset Potion" was working, and my skill points had returned to 11, the number before I allocated them. All I had to do now was learn the necessary combat skills.
"Support skills to a minimum, and attack skills... let's go."
Without any hesitation, I reassigned my skills.
Sharon (Charlotte Cocoriar)
Level: 12
Job: Healer
Skills
"Heal" Level 1
"Body Strengthening" Level 1
"Goddess's Protection" Level 3
"Holy Heal" Level 5
"Holy Attribute Enhancement" Level 1
Titles
"Blessing of Goddess Flordia":
- Recovery magic effect +10%
- Recovery magic SP consumption halved
"Jilted Woman":
- 5% resistance to attacks from male enemies
Since I basically avoid gimmicks, I rarely receive attacks, so Level 1 "Heal" is enough.
"Body Strengthening" increases my speed, which is essential for removing gimmicks, and "Goddess's Protection" can create a physical attack nullification barrier depending on the level.
"Holy Heal" is an attack skill for support classes. Although it has "Heal" in its name, it can deal damage to undead monsters.
"Holy Attribute Enhancement" is a passive skill that increases the attack power of "Holy Heal."
"Still, I have to be prepared for a long battle."
With a low level and weak attack power, I won't die easily, but I won't be able to defeat the enemy easily either. I'll have to heal myself while gradually dealing damage.
"Phew..."
I took a deep breath to steady my breathing.
—Well, let's take on the "Elnogoa's Ghost."
Happy New Year.
Thank you for your continued support this year.

Oh, I've been wanting to resume updates, but I've been sick or too busy with other work, so the restart has been delayed until the new year. I'm sorry.
I've also revised the settings, so I'll be making corrections to episodes 1 and onward from tomorrow. The number of episodes may decrease (the number of words per episode will increase).
I apologize for the inconvenience, but I'll do my best to update, so please continue to support me!
