The noise from outside reached my ears, and I opened my eyes. Looking out the window, I saw that the sun was already high in the sky.
...I must have slept in really deeply.
"Recently, it's been all about moving and hunting, so maybe my body was just tired, huh~"
I never thought I'd end up being the biggest oversleeper. I wondered if everyone else had gone to the cafeteria for breakfast. But as I looked around the room, everyone was still asleep. Starting from the entrance, there was Reo, Titia, Tarte... and then me.
"I'm the earliest riser, huh?"
They all looked so comfortable sleeping! But Reo was sleeping like a log.
"...It must have been tough, huh"
The smell of blood in the alleyway is something I won't forget. But thinking about living in this world from now on, something similar might happen again.
...I need to get stronger.
I changed into my clothes behind a simple screen and left the room without waking anyone up. There are no enemies here, so I hope they can sleep well.
At the cafeteria, I had breakfast and lunch, then headed to the Snowtia <Adventurer's Guild>. Of course, my purpose was to buy the materials Tarte uses for <Pharmaceuticals>. We can never have enough <Flame Bottles>!
...But I also need to think about making money.
I have the money from the <Gem of Lament> I delivered to Reo, but that will eventually run out. It would be best to level up while making money.
After that, I should check Reo and Titia's levels and go hunting with them. Considering the battles to come, we need to level up quickly. Otherwise, we might be attacked again and not be able to escape, leading to our deaths. It also hurts that we haven't joined up with the Holy Knights yet.
In front of the Snowtia Guild, there was a snowman about my height. It was cute and made me feel a bit warm.
But such a peaceful mood was quickly dispelled when I entered the guild. The adventurers inside were tougher than those in Tylle's guild, and the air felt tense. Probably because the monsters here are stronger and the dungeons are more difficult than in Tylle.
Seeing that the reception desk was free, I called out to the receptionist.
"Hello"
"Welcome. I don't recognize your face... Is this your first time in Snowtia?"
"Yes, it is."
I nodded and showed my <Adventurer's Card>. This serves as an ID and allows them to check my strength and achievements.
"You're Ms. Sharon, right? Do you need an introduction to Snowtia?"
"Please do!"
"Understood."
I got a little chuckle from the receptionist when I replied enthusiastically... After all, this is my first time in Snowtia since my memory returned. I'm trying to stay calm, but inside, I'm super excited.
"As you can see, Snowtia is a town that's always in winter. The sun sets early, and it gets very cold at night. Ice stalactites form under eaves, so please be careful when walking around the town. Snow shoveling is a regular request from both residents and the guild, so if you can help, please take on the request. The roads connecting to other towns are not snowy, but other areas are snowfields. Because there's a lot of snow, I recommend buying specialized shoes."
Snow seems to be more troublesome than I thought. Glancing at the request board, there were indeed many snow shoveling-related requests.
"I'm not used to snow, so thanks for the explanation."
"You're welcome. Also, the area just north of the town is strong with monsters and is a dungeon. Very strong monsters appear, so please be careful not to approach unnecessarily. ...Many adventurers have died there."
"The north...?"
I remember that just north of Snowtia is the <Santa's House> field, and underground is the <Secret Underground Factory> dungeon. I don't plan to go there now, but it's a fun place to experience a Christmas atmosphere.
"Also, the <Snow Forest> to the east of the town is very easy to get lost in. Even Snowtia residents can get lost, so please be very careful when entering."
"Understood."
Beyond the <Snow Forest> is the <Forest Village Leaf> where elves live... but from the looks of it, there's no interaction. If you don't know the way, it's easy to get lost in the forest. I, of course, know the way.
Then, I received information about the monsters that appear around Snowtia. The monster distribution seems to be the same as in the game era.
"That's about it for Snowtia."
"Thank you. It was very helpful."
"You're welcome. Supporting adventurers is part of our job, so please feel free to consult us if you have any questions."
"Okay."
I nodded, really grateful. And although it's a bit early, I decided to ask about the materials I wanted to buy.
"I want <Fire Mushrooms> and <Orc Rags>. Do you have them? And also <Silent Flowers>."
Since they are hard to come by, I talked about them the same way I did at Tylle's guild. The other materials, <Magic Stones>, <Oil>, and <Empty Potion Bottles>, are always available, so there's no problem. But considering Titia and Reo, I want to keep as many <Silent Flowers> as possible.
"Well... We have a decent stock of <Orc Rags>. Their habitat is close to Snowtia... But <Fire Mushrooms> are hard to gather around here, so we only have a little in stock."
I remembered that this is a winter town. <Fire Mushrooms> grow more in warmer areas, so they are hard to get in this snowy region. Therefore, they are more expensive than usual.
...Next time, I'll go to the desert and harvest a bunch of <Fire Mushrooms>...
Since I can't fight without <Flame Bottles>, I bought about 45 <Fire Mushrooms> at a slightly higher price, and I bought all the <Orc Rags> they had. They seemed to have a lot in stock, a whopping 416 pieces. This is a big help. The receptionist was very grateful for the purchase.
"We have 10 <Silent Flowers> in stock right now. But this is a rare flower, so it's not clear when we'll get more."
"Hmm... Can I put in a buy request?"
"Of course."
I want to get them as soon as possible, so I decided to put in a buy request at a slightly higher price than the market rate. There are many tough adventurers in the Snowtia guild, and I hope they will work hard for me.
