As the cherry blossoms danced in the wind, Misaki opened the old diary and read the words of promise written there.
Cecilia stood beside Six, her face tense, but she calmed down a little when Six firmly held her hand.
The king and queen stood on either side of Cecilia and Six.
The king raised his hand to silence the applause and began to speak slowly.
"This is a wonderful night. I intend to appoint the next crown prince here."
The hall fell silent.
The king slowly patted Six on the shoulder.
"My son, Six, is the second prince, but he is fit to be king. Therefore, I appoint Six as the next king and crown prince. In conjunction with this, I have decided that Cecilia, the daughter of a duke, will marry him, and the two of them will support this country together. I hope everyone will lend their support to these young two in the future."
Slowly, a wave of applause spread, as if in agreement.
The hall was filled with applause, and Six and Cecilia stepped forward and bowed.
"As the crown prince, I intend to tighten my resolve and walk for the sake of this country."
"I will walk step by step, carefully, for the sake of this country."
The applause grew into a large wave in response to their words.
However, at that moment,
A shout, like a roar, echoed through the hall, drowning out the applause.
"Father! What do you mean by this!"
All eyes turned to Hubert's voice.
"I am the first prince! I should be the crown prince! Six is nothing but an abominable existence!"
At that moment, a wave of small, mocking voices attacked Hubert.
"What a fool."
"He hasn't even noticed the prince's competence."
"The king has made a wise decision."
"What does his appearance matter? His hair color is the same as the wise king of old!"
"How can he not understand his position?"
Hubert's face twisted, and his voice grew harsh.
"Silence! That's disrespectful! I am the first prince and should be the crown prince! Hey!"
But no one agreed with his voice.
Hubert turned his gaze to those who were once his close aides and shouted.
"You! Arrest those who spoke disrespectfully just now!"
However, no one moved.
Hubert's close aides were a thing of the past.
The three closest aides, who had once been by his side, now wore badges supporting the second prince.
"Can't you hear me! You!"
Six, accompanied by Cecilia, descended from the stage and faced his brother.
The aides stood behind Six, and everyone in the hall watched the scene.
"Giovanni. Lauren. Victor. Will you return to your brother's side?"
In response to Six's words, the three bowed their heads and said,
"Our loyalty is already with Prince Six."
Six nodded in satisfaction and said to Hubert,
"Brother, you can't even keep track of your aides. It's impossible for you to be the crown prince."
Hubert gasped and then turned his gaze to Cecilia and said,
"Cecilia! You will help me, right!?"
Taken aback by the sudden words, Cecilia tilted her head and said,
"I'm sorry, but this is not something I can interfere with."
"What!?"
Six sighed dramatically and said,
"She is already my fiancée. Please refrain from addressing her so casually."
"What!? Ha. No matter what you say, this woman loves me."
Six's face twisted at these words.
"Cecilia! You are being deceived! You originally loved me and were always by my side! Uh, what? That, memory, yes! You lost your memory, didn't you? That's why you are being deceived by everyone!"
Cecilia, who had received the news of her memory loss, was angry at Hubert's attempt to use it as an excuse, especially since he had never visited her.

When it gets warm, I feel happy. In winter, my fingers feel like ice when I type. ('_')
