Chapter 67

The subordinate, who had readjusted the documents, looked up at Ozvalt with a wry smile.

"After all, it's an important trip for Commander Ozvalt and his wife."

In the glass of the window, which was like a mirror, Ozvalt's own reflection was visible. His gaze was directed at the shining ear ornament there. It was a design where blue and red protective stones were connected by a thin silver chain.

His wife, who had made this and given it to him, was probably waiting for him at home today. Her enthusiastic welcome upon his return was a daily occurrence.

"Welcome back, Ozvalt-sama, welcome back! I missed you, I'm so glad you're back, welcome back......!!"

She would run to him, expressing her joy with all her might, and spin around like a puppy. The scene that had burned into his mind resurfaced in Ozvalt's mind.

"Commander!"

"Enjoy your trip with your wife!"

The subordinate, holding the documents, muttered a very small soliloquy.

"When the commander talks about his wife, he really has such a gentle expression..."
