After Fang Tianfeng finished his observation, he said, "Brother Shi, what Sister Xin told you on the phone was just a guess. After seeing you in person, I can confirm that you will have a disaster within a year, and the seeds of this disaster have already been sown." After saying this, he looked at Shi Weicheng calmly.

Shi Weicheng's face showed a slight look of surprise. He said, "In our line of work, many people believe in feng shui and fortune-telling. However, those charlatans all put on an air of mysticism, either speaking in vague terms that I only half understand or using empty words to scare me. You, on the other hand, are different. How do you know I will have a disaster within a year?"

Fang Tianfeng replied, "By a stroke of luck, I became a disciple of a hidden Daoist sect and learned some Daoist arts that allow me to accurately know a person's fortune and misfortune."

A hint of sarcasm flashed in Shi Weicheng's eyes. He glanced at Shen Xin, looked at his watch, and said, "I don't know what method you used to persuade Little Xin, but your words don't move me."

Shen Xin remained silent, secretly observing Fang Tianfeng.

Fang Tianfeng said calmly, "You need to understand one thing: I came here because of Sister Xin. If you don't believe me, just say so, and I'll leave immediately."

Shi Weicheng slowly leaned back in his chair, naturally exuding a sense of pride. He said, "Then I'll give you a chance to prove your abilities to me."

At this moment, Shen Xin saw a look of dissatisfaction in Fang Tianfeng's eyes.

Fang Tianfeng suddenly stood up, the chair scraping the floor with a sharp sound. Shi Weicheng and Shen Xin were slightly startled but quickly returned to normal.

Fang Tianfeng stared at Shi Weicheng and said calmly, "I don't need you to give me a chance, and I have no interest in proving myself to you. You need to understand that it's you who needs my help, not the other way around!"

A young upstart daring to be so audacious, Shi Weicheng was extremely angry. He turned to Shen Xin and said, "Your brother may be young, but he has quite a temper. He doesn't seem like a disciple of any Daoist sect."

Shen Xin smiled faintly and said, "Young people often have tempers, and it's normal for capable people to have a bit of a temper."

Shi Weicheng lit a cigarette, watching the burning tip, and said, "The problem is, some people have bigger tempers than abilities!"

Shen Xin laughed and said, "Brother Shi, you can look at your watch to show your impatience, and he can stand up to express his dissatisfaction."

Shi Weicheng was unhappy but, being a seasoned businessman, he wouldn't let such a small matter ruin his composure. He said to Fang Tianfeng, "Alright, this is too incredible. You need to make me believe you."

Fang Tianfeng sat down again and said, "Your romantic luck is quite good. Besides your wife, you have two regular mistresses, and you are also having an affair with a fourth woman."

Shi Weicheng straightened up, his body on high alert, and growled, "You dare to investigate me!"

Shen Xin, however, sneered and said, "If he had investigated you, he would have mentioned mistresses, not lovers! Brother Shi, you're really something. You told me there was only one, but it turns out you have another one hidden, and you even want to hide another one!"

Shi Weicheng's face turned red, and he coughed lightly, saying, "Men, you know, don't tell my sister-in-law." He then looked at Fang Tianfeng suspiciously.

Fang Tianfeng slowly poured himself some tea, not saying a word, looking relaxed and content.

Suddenly, Shi Weicheng's eyes widened, his face showing disbelief, his breathing heavy, and his hands gripping the table tightly.

Shi Weicheng saw that the stream of tea flowing from the spout was initially normal, but soon became as thin as a hair. Soon, the teapot turned into a sprinkler, with dozens of thin streams entering the cup simultaneously.

Shi Weicheng was dumbfounded. He knew this was definitely not a magic trick, as magic either involves pre-prepared props or relies on quick hands to perform actions that the eye cannot catch. Fang Tianfeng had come empty-handed, and the teapot was from the hotel.

Shen Xin pouted, "Xiao Feng, don't waste your qi. It would be better to save it for my treatment."

Fang Tianfeng smiled, put the teapot back, took a sip of tea, and set the cup down.

Shi Weicheng was about to take the teapot but, glancing at the teacup, his eyes nearly popped out. The water in the teacup was forming a vortex, continuously spinning.

Shi Weicheng's gaze toward Fang Tianfeng changed. He reluctantly took the teapot, examined it carefully, and found it to be no different from any ordinary teapot, with no tampering. He looked at the teacup in front of Fang Tianfeng, and the vortex was still there.

After a long moment, Shi Weicheng looked at Shen Xin.

Shen Xin smiled faintly and nodded firmly.

Shi Weicheng sighed deeply and said, "Sister Xin has no reason to lie to me. I believe you." After saying this, he looked at Fang Tianfeng with a mix of remaining suspicion, confusion, and surprise.

Fang Tianfeng smiled, knowing that using a bit of his essence to regain the upper hand was worth it.

"Brother Shi, I help Sister Xin for free because she helped me, and I want to repay her. However, our line of work has many rules, and we can't act arbitrarily. It's best if our relationship is more straightforward, like a business transaction."

Shi Weicheng said, "A transaction, then. What's the price?"

"Let's not talk about the price yet. If I can't find the cause of your misfortune, I won't charge you a penny. If I do find it, we can discuss the price later."

Shi Weicheng secretly breathed a sigh of relief. He was truly shocked by Fang Tianfeng's display and now feared that he might be ruthless and demand an exorbitant price.

He suppressed his fear, trying to ease the tense atmosphere, and said with a smile, "You're honest. What if I solve a big problem for you and then refuse to pay?"

Fang Tianfeng leaned back, resting against the chair, and said slowly, "If I can solve problems, I can also create them!"

Shi Weicheng had the illusion that the temperature in the room suddenly dropped by thirty degrees.

Shen Xin's eyes lit up. She hadn't expected Fang Tianfeng to be so impressive, and his young age had completely overshadowed Shi Weicheng's presence. She nodded inwardly.

Shi Weicheng had no choice but to say, "Alright, Xiao Fang, what do I need to do?"

Fang Tianfeng carefully observed Shi Weicheng's aura. The bad luck had just formed, and its growth was uniform. He quickly deduced that this bad luck had appeared seven days ago, with an error margin of no more than one day.

He pretended to wait for a moment and said, "Seven days ago, did anything change in your project?"

Shi Weicheng thought for a moment and said, "No, the project has been going smoothly. Moreover, this road is under the supervision of Governor Sun, who is in charge of transportation. The higher-ups are watching closely, and we are very careful. There shouldn't be any problems."

Fang Tianfeng was puzzled and said, "What about six days ago or eight days ago? In these three days, did anything change in your company, such as an accident or a personnel change?"

Shi Weicheng immediately said, "I remember! Eight days ago, the project manager was hospitalized due to illness, and I had my nephew take over his work."

Fang Tianfeng said, "Let me meet your nephew. I can see if the problem lies with him. If he's not the issue, I'll go to the construction site to check."

Shi Weicheng hesitated. After all, it was his nephew. He looked at Shen Xin.

Shen Xin sat up straight and said solemnly, "I trust Xiao Feng. If you don't bring your nephew here, I'll withdraw my investment immediately!"

Shi Weicheng smiled bitterly and said, "Sister Xin, we've known each other for so many years. Why do you trust an outsider more than my nephew?"

Shen Xin smiled slightly and said, "Emotions are one thing, business is another. Emotionally, I support you, but my rationality tells me that Xiao Feng is more reliable than your nephew. I've seen your nephew before, and he doesn't seem to be a reliable person. If he causes any trouble, I won't be surprised."

Shi Weicheng lowered his head, silent for a moment. Then he stood up and said, "Alright, I'll go get him. Please wait a moment. Order whatever you like, and I'll pay for it." He walked out and called a waiter. He glanced at the tea in the cup, which was still spinning, and his lips twitched slightly before he left the hotel.

Fang Tianfeng frowned and asked, "Sister Xin, why doesn't he believe me yet?"

Shen Xin sighed and said, "If he didn't believe you, he would have called his nephew directly. He's afraid that if his nephew really has a problem, it will be exposed by an outsider, and he will lose face. So he wants to meet his nephew first."

Fang Tianfeng nodded, realizing that he was still young and lacked experience. Some things were not as clear to him as they were to Shen Xin.

At this moment, a female waiter came in and asked what they wanted to order.

Fang Tianfeng said, "Thank you, no need. We just had dinner."

Shen Xin, however, said, "Don't worry about saving money. Order some fruit platters. The ones here are cleaner than those in the KTV. I know you have a good appetite. Let me order for you." She then ordered fruit platters for Fang Tianfeng.

When the fruit platters arrived, the two of them ate and talked. Shen Xin was very curious about Fang Tianfeng's past and asked about his background. Fang Tianfeng didn't hide anything and shared what he could.

Most of the conversation was Fang Tianfeng talking while Shen Xin listened. Fang Tianfeng noticed that whenever he finished a small part of his story, Shen Xin would nod slightly. When he finished an important part or the whole story, she would nod and say "mm-hmm."

At first, he didn't understand, but as he continued, he gradually realized the significance.

Shen Xin's nods and "mm-hmm" seemed insignificant but were actually very useful. Nodding not only showed that she was listening but also conveyed that she was listening attentively. The "mm-hmm" added a layer of affirmation, making it a simple yet effective way to encourage someone to continue talking.

Soon, he noticed another detail: whenever he mentioned something important or changed his tone, Shen Xin would lean forward slightly, showing a more attentive and closer listening posture. This detail was clearly more pleasing to the speaker than the nods and "mm-hmm."

Fang Tianfeng suddenly understood why everyone in the office liked talking to Shen Xin. This seemingly minor action demonstrated her social skills and charm.

He kept this detail in mind, realizing that the success of some people was not without reason. He was also grateful that his keen observation and willingness to learn could help him acquire some of the factors of success.

In addition, Shen Xin occasionally interjected, sometimes asking for details, sometimes indicating that she didn't understand, but more often, affirming that Fang Tianfeng was doing well.

Fang Tianfeng didn't expect to learn so much from Shen Xin, and his attitude toward her subtly changed. Initially, he was just grateful to her, but now he felt a sense of liking and recognition.
