"Teacher Tao, I really feel bad making you eat here." After sitting down, Sun Bo handed the menu to Tao Ruoxiang. "Order whatever you like."

Tao Ruoxiang frowned slightly, thinking that Qin Lang was right; Sun Bo was indeed a bit pretentious. It was just a simple meal, so what was there to feel bad about? Tao Ruoxiang didn't want to argue with Sun Bo, so she directly ordered a few dishes and was about to hand the menu to the waitress.

"Hey... Teacher Sun, I haven't ordered yet." Qin Lang was not the least bit polite.

Sun Bo thought to himself, "Damn, you're just here to freeload. It's already great that you get a free meal. Do you even have the right to order?" But seeing Qin Lang reach for the menu, Sun Bo had no choice but to hand it over, smiling faintly. "Little Qin, know your limits. I can certainly afford to pay, but we shouldn't waste food!"

The waitress glanced at Sun Bo with disdain, thinking that this guy was really putting on a show. Dressed in a suit, he had strutted in and demanded a private room, making everyone think he was a big spender. But when the guest wanted to order a few more dishes, he started talking about not wasting food. What a pretender! If you want to save food, why not invite people to your home instead of coming to a restaurant and putting on airs?

But Qin Lang had no intention of being polite to Sun Bo. He smiled and looked at the menu. "Don't worry, Teacher Sun, we young people have great appetites! —— Miss, add a black chicken pot, an old duck soup, and a steamed sea bass! Make sure the chicken and duck are free-range, not feed-raised!"

In this restaurant, these three dishes were considered high-end. In Qin Lang's view, since Sun Bo was paying, it would be a waste not to take advantage of it.

"Rest assured, they're 100% free-range!" The waitress smiled, but she knew that such restaurants couldn't possibly use real free-range products. The term "free-range" was just a gimmick to raise prices and rip off customers.

Although Sun Bo hated Qin Lang, his income was such that he didn't mind spending a few hundred more yuan. He knew Qin Lang was deliberately trying to provoke him, so he couldn't let Qin Lang get the upper hand, at least not in front of Tao Ruoxiang. But Sun Bo wasn't simple-minded. He quickly thought of a way to embarrass Qin Lang. Smiling, he said to Qin Lang, "Little Qin, it's getting a bit hot. How about we have a couple of cold beers?"

"Drinking... I don't think that's a good idea," Qin Lang declined politely.

"That's right, Qin Lang is still a student," Tao Ruoxiang also spoke up for Qin Lang.

"Teacher Tao, you'll understand when you become a homeroom teacher. How many middle school students haven't had a drink in private? Not just beer, but even red wine and spirits. Right, Little Qin?" Sun Bo tried to lure Qin Lang into a trap. "Anyway, having one or two beers shouldn't be a problem, right?"

Sun Bo, a teacher who had been "tested by alcohol," had a good tolerance. He wanted to use this to embarrass Qin Lang. In his view, young people like Qin Lang were hot-blooded and could be easily provoked into drinking themselves into a stupor with just a few words.

In front of Tao Ruoxiang, Qin Lang couldn't lie. He nodded and said, "Yes, I've had a little before. But Teacher Sun, my tolerance is not good. I can only have one bottle."

"Alright, let's start with two cold beers then," Sun Bo said to the waitress, feeling secretly pleased. As long as Qin Lang started drinking, he could turn it into a drinking contest and wait for Qin Lang to pass out at his feet, vomiting like a mess.

"Make it three bottles," Tao Ruoxiang said again. Seeing Qin Lang and Sun Bo look at her in surprise, she smiled faintly. "There's no law that says women can't drink, right?"

The food and drinks were quickly served. Sun Bo realized his chance to shine had come. He raised a large glass and said to Qin Lang, "Little Qin, I'm not much older than you. Since we're outside of school, you can call me Sun Brother or by my name. Here's to our good fortune in having this meal together. Let's cheers!"

Sun Bo tilted his head back and finished the glass of beer in one gulp.

Since Sun Bo had already toasted, Qin Lang couldn't just sit there and do nothing, or he would be looked down upon. So, he also finished his glass in one go and said to Sun Bo, "Teacher Sun, my tolerance is not good. Let me have a bite of food first."

This was Qin Lang deliberately showing weakness.

"Little Qin, that's not right. I've already toasted you, you can't just sit there," Sun Bo said, clearly not giving Qin Lang a chance to catch his breath. He thought, "You little brat, just wait and see."

"Alright, Teacher Sun, I'll toast you!" Qin Lang raised his glass again.

"Come on! At the dinner table, there's no teacher-student hierarchy, only brothers. Let's cheers!" Sun Bo was being very generous.

A bottle of beer could fill three glasses. After two glasses, Qin Lang had already drunk more than half a bottle. As a seasoned drinker, Sun Bo knew the best way to make Qin Lang pass out quickly was to have him drink on an empty stomach. This way, the alcohol would be absorbed quickly, and he would get drunk fast.

"Little Qin, let's have this third glass with Teacher Tao. We can't just drink and ignore her, right?" Sun Bo made another move, giving Qin Lang no reason to refuse.

"Teacher... Sun, I really can't handle another glass," Qin Lang pretended to be already tipsy.

Sun Bo was secretly pleased but said, "You're so young, how can you say you can't? I envy you young people, full of energy and courage, unafraid of anything. Here's to youth!"

At this moment, the waitress had already brought a box of beer to their table. She was used to such drinking contests.

"That's enough, Qin Lang still has to study later," Tao Ruoxiang couldn't bear to see Qin Lang embarrassed.

"I think Little Qin's tolerance is pretty good. Don't worry, Teacher Tao. Young people are strong and can handle their drinks!" Sun Bo laughed, but his laughter was laced with malice. Based on his experience, Qin Lang was already slightly drunk but hadn't realized it yet. It would be easy to get him to continue drinking until he passed out.

"Right... Sun... Sun Bo, it's our first time drinking together, we have to do it right!"

Qin Lang, "taking advantage of his drunkenness," called Sun Bo by his name. This annoyed Sun Bo, but he couldn't blame Qin Lang because he had said there was no teacher-student hierarchy at the dinner table. Moreover, Qin Lang drinking with him suited Sun Bo's plan.

"Or, Sun Bo... how about we drink straight from the bottle?" Qin Lang suggested.

"Great! That's the spirit of youth!" Sun Bo laughed heartily. He was more than happy to see Qin Lang fall for it so easily, but his smile quickly froze when he saw something that seemed "fantastical":

Qin Lang held a bottle of beer in each hand, and with a flick of his thumbs, there were two "pop" sounds as the bottle caps flew off. Sun Bo had seen many tricks for opening beer bottles, but using just the strength of his thumbs to pop off the caps like this was something else! How much strength did that require?
