The door of the guest’s room opened. Yeonhwa, who was sitting at the table, jumped up to her feet. She could tell without looking that Geonwoo was the only one who would come out of the door. Yeonhwa couldn’t look back and only noticed that the open gown was thin.

“You woke up early today.”

Yeonhwa nodded and turned to the voice of Geonwoo coming from behind. He was already dressed for work and a briefcase was in his hand. Yeonhwa, who quickly changed her face color, drew attention from Geonwoo’s bag.

“You must have come late yesterday.”

“I arrived at dawn because I finished work late.”

“I thought you weren’t coming home. Because it’s late.”

Geonwoo looked at where Yeonhwa is and muttered to himself.

”You might catch a cold, so wouldn’t it be better to wear something a little thicker?”

The cold was just an excuse and he said it because he wanted to prevent Yeonhwa from sleeping in a slip. The tip of Yeonhwa’s ears burned red at the thought that Geonwoo saw her body in a slip. The hands that held the gown were filled with sweat because she squeezed them repeatedly.

‘I decided now, that even if Geonwoo was away from home, I will never wear a slip again.’

Yeonhwa vowed so in her heart.

Geonwoo, who had left the food that had not been yet touched, walked into the hallway.

“I did yours while preparing mine. Eat breakfast and take your medicine!”

“Yeah.”

She didn’t know if Geonwoo heard the small answer. But as soon as Geonwoo disappeared into the hallway for work, Yeonhwa almost fell to the floor. The gentle and calm attitude of the man was embarrassing. Obviously, the man’s body was what she was messing with at dawn, so how could he not be bothered? It didn’t matter because she stammered in her sleep. She knew she was insensitive, but Yeonhwa felt a little offended.

She didn’t even know that Geonwoo was walking behind her because her thoughts were tangled like wool. Geonwoo’s right hand protruding to the front of Yeonhwa and gently wrapped around her shoulders, and his left hand wrapped around her stomach.

Yeonhwa’s back touched his chest. Suddenly, because of being hugged from behind, Yeonhwa’s heart seemed to have stopped beating. The man’s subtle perfume spread when he hugged Yeonhwa more strongly. She wanted to ask what he was doing, but Yeonhwa’s lips were stuck as she could feel the man’s lips come close to her ears.

“Because you seem to have forgotten to see me off.”

Last night, Geonwoo couldn’t sleep a wink because he kept remembering the touch that kept scanning his body. It was Geonwoo’s timid revenge for it. He wanted to wake her up as a mischievous sleeper she was and held her like this. His body, which was about to explode any time soon, seemed to calm down a little after holding Yeonhwa.

As if trying to preserve the scent of Yeonhwa, Geonwoo pushed his breath deep into the lungs. Although he released his arms, Yeonhwa, she remained standing still. He wanted to know what kind of a face she had on, but he thought he could see her expression.

So, Geonwoo turned around and left the house while watching Yeonhwa standing with her back facing him. Only after the front door closed, Yeonhwa staggered and grabbed the table. She raised her hand and grabbed her chest tightly. Her heart seemed to be broken because the sound of the heart could not be heard. Turned around, Yeonhwa stared at the place where the man had disappeared.

“What …what!”

She resented him for suddenly attacking her from behind. ‘Why would he warmly hold his wife who he was about to divorce?’

Yeonhwa, who raised her hand, crossed her arms with an X and hugged herself tightly. Why was it so warm that she didn’t want to miss a single spec?

“You hated me but you like me again?”
