Yan Chen, who quietly returned to school alone, skipped the courses he had originally chosen, came to the Social Sciences Building, and went straight to the dean’s office on the top floor.
The dean, who had never expected to be visited by this unexpected guest, kept a smile on the surface after seeing him, but was secretly wary of Yan Chen.
After all, he would not naively think that this master came to him just to drink tea and chat, or it was as simple as saying hello to a normal acquaintance.
“Why are you here?” The dean didn’t get up from his seat and asked directly. As an elderly man and the head of a hospital, he was somewhat airy, but his tone and wording still followed Yan Chen’s identity as a royalty that must be respected.
Yan Chen pulled a chair from the side and sat down in front of the dean’s desk without making any detours, “I want to change my major.” He said, his voice resolute.
“It’s only the first day of school, why do you want to change your major all of a sudden?”
“Do I have to explain everything to you?”
Yan Chen is not a patient character, and the moment he heard the rhetorical question, there were a few shallow furrows between his brows, which made his face look terrifying to look at, surely making the people who see him uncomfortable by his presence.
The dean’s body trembled imperceptibly, and his smiling expression froze for a moment.
As the dean, he hasn’t experienced receiving such harsh treatment, but the young boy in front of him, who always wanted to do whatever he wanted by relying on his royal status, was not afraid to put him in his place and make him yield.
“The school can apply for a change of major every six months. Why don’t you try taking the course for some time, and after half a year, if you still want to switch, I’ll ask someone to change the documents for you? After all, school has started…”
“If I want to go through the normal procedure, do you think I’ll trouble myself by making an audience with you?” Yan Chen’s eyes gradually turned into contempt, as if silently scolding him for being an idiot, which made the corner of the dean’s mouth twitch uncontrollably, and the smile he managed to maintain started falling.
Yan Chen couldn’t wait for half a year, he absolutely couldn’t let Rong Jun find out that he was lying to him.
Immediately afterwards, he took a piece of paper and pen from the table, wrote a class schedule and the name and time of the corresponding supervisor, and then pressed his finger on the paper and pushed it to the dean,
“Help me change into these classes.”
The dean stared at the piece of paper, not only did he choose the professional courses of the Department of Political Science, but also the elective courses of other colleges,
“This…”
“I still have class, I’ll go first, and you better do what I asked.” The dean looked at the office door that opened and closed, and was stunned for a long time.
After he was sure that Yan Chen was gone, he hammered the table angrily,
“That impolite brat!”
Not long after leaving the dean’s office and taking the elevator down, Yan Chen received a text message from Yun Xuan on his cell phone, telling him that the matter of the house had been settled.
Yan Chen quickly sent a message, asking him to move the furniture in directly, telling him that he was going to live there tonight, and specifically ordered to buy all the kitchen utensils, and then happily ran to the classroom where Rong Jun was studying. His tail wiggling excitedly, swaying from side to side.
When Yan Chen arrived, the class was coming to an end, and the professor was making a summary of the class.
He entered the classroom from the back door and found a seat near Rong Jun, and not long after, he heard the professor’s concluding remarks.
Yan Chen immediately stood up and walked towards Rong Jun, he took a step but suddenly stopped.
He saw the person he hated very much—Qu Po, a red fox, whose charming face under the short orange hair has bewitched countless people.
Qu Po’s relationship with Rong Jun is very close, and back then, he even once made him jealous to the point of madness, and because of this, he quarreled with Rong Jun in the past several times, every single time he failed to drag the fox away from Rong Jun’s side.
If he wasn’t the lover of his second brother, he would have dealt with this guy secretly
The darkness in Yan Chen’s eyes swirled secretly but soon dissipated and was quickly replaced with a smile when he saw Rong Jun about to turn around.
Qu Po, who was keenly aware of his surroundings, shuddered a few times, and turned his head in the direction that made him feel uncomfortable, only to find someone with a pure smile on his face, wagging his tail.
‘Is it a wolf or a dog?’
Rong Jun also saw Yan Chen’s silly look when he left his seat and turned around. Facing that face with a bright smile.
“Yan Chen?”
“Qing… I mean, Rong Jun.” Yan Chen was unaccustomed to calling him by his name, and inevitably paused for a while.
“Do you take this class too?”
“yes.”
Qu Po had never seen Yan Chen by Rong Jun’s side, and the strangeness he felt from his direction just now made him wary of this guy who he didn’t know whether was a dog or a wolf, and his heart was now filled with uneasiness.
His desire to protect was surging, so he couldn’t help but move a little closer to Rong Jun, secretly sizing up Yan Chen.
“Will you introduce this one to me?” Rong Jun noticed the wariness in Qu Po’s eyes, which was a little unexpected, but since it made him alert, there must be something strange about Yan Chen that he didn’t notice.
“This is Yan Chen, and he is also a student of our Political Science Department.”
“And Yan Chen, this is Qu Po, my little buddy.”
“Hello. Qu. Po” Yan Chen said his name slowly, before extending his hand to show his kindness.
Qu Po hesitated for a second when he heard his name, but then raised a smile that was even brighter than Yan Chen’s, as if he was thrilled to have a new friend.
“Hello~” Rong Jun looked at the time on the phone and suddenly became flustered,
“I have to catch up with my next class, let’s talk next time.”
“What’s your next class?” Yan Chen asked.
“Development Politics.”
“Is it the section in the classroom next door?”
“yes.”
“Me too, let’s go together.”
Rong Jun couldn’t help but narrow his eyes at him. Because of Qu Po’s vigilance just now, Rong Jun couldn’t help but subconsciously think if there’s more to Yan Chen than what he’s shown to him.
But he shook his thoughts off, not wanting to judge him. After all, it’s normal to bump into a few classes,
“…Okay, then let’s go first, Qu Po, see you tomorrow.”
“See you tomorrow.” After the two left, Qu Po watched their backs for a long time, especially Yan Chen’s ears and tail.
When they were about to leave his sight, he was almost one-hundred percent sure.
He is definitely a wolf! In fact, his physical characteristics are obviously different from those of dogs, but because of the state he showed when he first met Yan Chen, he misled his judgment and was almost fooled by his silly smile!
‘Jun should know that he is a wolf…No… A peacock as smart and astute as Rong Jun will eventually know his true form.’
Qu Po had confidence in Rong Jun, that he will figure it out on his own, he slowly let go of his worries, and then decided to go to the some place for a drink, since today’s class really bored him.
