Just as they reached the top of the stairwell, before even pushing open the door to the rooftop, everyone had already seen the scene on the rooftop through a large hole broken in the side of the door.
White Ghost was the first to pass through the hole and reach the rooftop, followed closely by Sengoku Koyuki.
After confirming that there was no danger around, they signaled for the other four to come over.
"What happened here?" Shizuo Yuma looked at the messy scene on the rooftop, dotted with craters, and said.
"Is it a magic circle? Could someone have summoned an evil god from another world?" Ito, who had a middle-school syndrome, looked at the magic circle not far away and the vortex above it, his eyes shining.
Of course, Ito had no knowledge of magic, so he didn't recognize the magic circle. He was just speculating based on his middle-school syndrome, fueled by his extensive reading of various comics and novels.
As for why his speculation was so close to the truth, it could only be said that his middle-school syndrome was strong enough.
"Is that vortex really a passage to another world?" Shizuo Yuma also looked at the vortex in the sky and muttered to himself.
"Ito, do you think if we jump into the vortex, we'll be transported to another world?" Inoue, who was also somewhat middle-school syndrome, grabbed his friend and said.
"Maybe we can try." Ito said excitedly.
"Try your head off! That vortex is at least seven or eight meters high. Are you sure you can reach it? Even if we use a ladder, where would we find one?" Shizuo Yuma immediately pointed out the practical problem, dampening their enthusiasm.
So Ito and Inoue could only look at the vortex in the sky with injured expressions, feeling helpless.
"Who is that person? What happened to her?" Mizuki Yuka noticed Miki Sanada sitting against the railing and asked.
"It looks like she's injured." Sengoku Koyuki temporarily relaxed her guard and walked towards Miki Sanada.
The others immediately followed, and even White Ghost, after some thought, decided to get some information about the master from this person and followed along.
"Sengoku, Mizuki-sensei, hello! I didn't expect to involve you all in this." Before Sengoku Koyuki could speak, Miki Sanada greeted them first.
"How do you know me? Who are you?" Sengoku Koyuki asked, puzzled.
"I'm just an unremarkable student at the school, of course, Sengoku wouldn't know me! But for someone as famous as Sengoku, how could I not know you?" Miki Sanada, leaning weakly against the railing, said.
"Unremarkable? I don't think so. If there were a student as beautiful as you at the school, I would have heard of it." Sengoku Koyuki looked at the beautiful girl in front of her, whose skin was exposed due to her torn clothes.
"Really? It's an honor to be praised by Sengoku." Miki Sanada smiled and said.
"Shizuo, Ito, Inoue, turn around, no peeking." Mizuki Yuka ordered the three boys who were pretending not to notice but were actually looking at Miki Sanada's exposed skin.
"Yes." The three boys immediately obeyed and turned around.
"What's your name? Why have I never seen you before?" Mizuki Yuka, who had less caution towards Miki Sanada, a human, approached her and began to check her condition.
"Mizuki-sensei is still so caring towards students!" Miki Sanada did not reveal her name, clearly not wanting to expose her identity at the school.
"What happened here? Where is Aoba-sama now?" Sengoku Koyuki asked, uninterested in the woman's identity, only wanting to know Aoba's whereabouts.
"Aoba-sama? Aoba-sama went there!" Miki Sanada smiled, seemingly acknowledging something, and then called Aoba "Aoba-sama" as well, pointing to the vortex in the sky.
Sengoku Koyuki frowned, both because Aoba had entered the vortex and because of Miki Sanada's way of addressing Aoba.
But before she could say anything, White Ghost moved first.
"Is the master in there?" White Ghost asked Miki Sanada for confirmation.
"If you mean Aoba-sama, he is there!" Miki Sanada, looking at the clearly non-human White Ghost, answered without changing her expression.
"Why did the master go in?" White Ghost calmly continued to ask.
"To save someone." Miki Sanada answered.
"Save someone? Who?" White Ghost and Sengoku Koyuki asked in unison.
"Miss Yamawaki Natsu." Miki Sanada did not hide this information.
"Yamawaki Natsu!? How did she get in there?" Sengoku Koyuki looked at Miki Sanada with a suspicious eye.
"I'm sorry, this incident was actually caused by Miss Natsu." Miki Sanada paused for a moment but then said with a bitter smile.
Instantly, a chorus of gasps echoed around. Whether it was Mizuki Yuka, Shizuo Yuma, or Ito and Inoue, none of them had expected that the usually kind and gentle Miss Natsu would be behind this.
"Why did she do this?" Sengoku Koyuki pressed.
"Sorry, some things involve Miss Natsu's secrets, so I can't say! I can only say that Miss Natsu had no ill intentions, but things just got out of hand." Miki Sanada said with a bitter smile.
With a swish, Sengoku Koyuki drew her sword and placed it against Miki Sanada's white neck.
"Answer me, why did she do this? And how much do you know about the other side of the vortex?" Sengoku Koyuki demanded.
Under normal circumstances, she wouldn't care what Yamawaki Natsu did, but since this incident had involved Aoba, and Aoba had already gone to the other side of the vortex, Sengoku Koyuki couldn't ignore it. She didn't want anything to happen to Aoba, and as for Yamawaki Natsu, she could go to hell.
"Ahh! Sengoku, put the sword down, you might hurt someone." Mizuki Yuka cried out, trying to move Sengoku Koyuki's sword with her hand but hesitating to make a move.
Even the three boys who had turned away turned back, watching the scene with tension, not expecting Sengoku Koyuki to draw her sword so easily. From her serious expression, it was clear that if Miki Sanada's answer didn't satisfy her, she might really cut down.
As for White Ghost, although she didn't have Sengoku Koyuki's bloodthirsty nature, since this was about the master's safety, she naturally stood by Sengoku Koyuki and just watched quietly.
"I know nothing about the other side of the vortex. As for why Miss Natsu did this, I know, but I can't say! You can kill me, but I won't say." Miki Sanada faced Sengoku Koyuki calmly, her eyes not wavering.
Just as the two were at an impasse, and everyone around was holding their breath, and White Ghost was just watching, the originally stable vortex suddenly began to move violently.
