Leng Rui was silent. He did not say whether Tang Guo's request was too much or not.

Tang Guo was also patient. She drank her cold milk-tea and was so comfortable she almost slept.

Leng Rui raised his head and glanced at the girl beside him who was almost off to dreamland. He was interested in her, more like, he was drunk from her voice. Her song could clear any impulsive tyrannical violence he had and felt peace.

"Your conditions, I agree, but….." Leng Rui's words made Tang Guo snap from her doziness, "As long as you have the skill to keep living here, then all your wishes, I will help you realize."

Tang Guo was spirited, "Any request?"

"Aside from being Madam Leng."

Tang Guo retracted her hand ans sat on the chair, propping her chin with her hand, "Financial backer, what song do you want to hear?"

Leng Rui closed his eyes and stayed silent. Tang Guo did not ask again.

She sang a soft and mellow song. Leng Rui was not familiar with the lyrics but he could be sure that he had never heard this song before.

Soft and gentle notes rang in his ears, making Leng Rui's heart turn peaceful and soon fell into dreamland. He did not woke up through the whole process.

The next morning, when Tang Guo was eating breakfast, Leng Rui threw a contract to her.

"Sign it. From today on, you are Starry Cloud Entertainment's artist." Leng Rui took his share of breakfast and said, "The manager has been chosen. I will take you to Starry Cloud tomorrow."

Tang Guo smiled, "As expected of financial backer, awesome."

Tang Guo buried her head as she read through the contract and Leng Rui did not disturb her. After a while, he said, "The song yesterday was not bad."

"Ehh, dad, how come you haven't gone to the company yet?" A voice suddenly came from outside the door. Leng Ziyue entered quickly, "Good thing I asked He Qing, if not, I will go in vain."

Note: Before anyone scream, I just want to say that Leng Rui is Leng Ziyue's adopted dad. More will be revealed at later chapters.
