Chapter 10

After returning to the dormitory, Qi Feng didn't dare to speak up as his roommates were discussing the broken gate they had seen downstairs. However, his mind was elsewhere. He had been walking back cautiously, but after a class period, his condition had not improved; instead, it had worsened. He could clearly feel his strength growing continuously. Even walking slowly had become uncomfortable. Just how strong was he? Qi Feng quietly tested it when he got back. He bent a stainless steel ruler with just his index and middle fingers, but it wasn't enough to leave a noticeable mark on the hollow steel legs of the table.

Qi Feng was now typing lightly in front of the computer, careful not to crush the keyboard by accident. "Exercising body coordination... enhancing body control... hmm, and flexibility..." He was searching online for a quick solution. His Dragon Elephant Prajna Technique was only at the first level, so the enhancement of strength was definitely limited. It would take some time to get used to it. But what if he hadn't gotten used to it and broke through to the second level? That would be disastrous. (This was actually an overreaction; even if he wanted to replicate this speed, taking another Rhinoceros Ground Dragon Pill and Life Creation Pill wouldn't help!)

Moreover, the Dragon Elephant Prajna Technique was too distorted as an external technique, and Qi Feng needed to find a way to enhance his flexibility. After entering the keywords, the internet immediately provided an answer: "Yoga!"

"Yoga?" In Qi Feng's mind, yoga was just a low-intensity fitness method for women. He had seen many photos of beautiful yoga practitioners online, dressed in revealing outfits, with very alluring postures. "Can men practice this?"

Qi Feng started looking up information about yoga online. As he read on, he realized how limited his knowledge was. In a grander sense, yoga was a cultivation method with thousands of years of history from ancient India, focusing on coordination and control. It could regulate human physiology, psychology, emotions, and spirit, with the ultimate goal of achieving "oneness with the universe." Yoga was a transliteration, originally meaning "union" or "integration." He had heard of "oneness with the universe" before, though he couldn't remember where, but it was definitely impressive.

However, this alone wasn't enough to convince Qi Feng. First, his preconceived notion of yoga was deeply rooted and hard to change. Second, while the information was impressive, it was like the Daoist concept of ascending to immortality; mere concepts weren't convincing. But a line of small text on the screen caught his attention: "...Tibetan Yoga... Padmasambhava..." This immediately caught Qi Feng's eye.

"Padmasambhava" was mentioned in the "Dragon Elephant Prajna Technique." Padmasambhava was a supreme master of Tibetan Buddhism, described in the manual as "the manifestation of the Buddha's heart, born from a lotus." The technique had been revised and improved by him. However, Padmasambhava's cultivation was vast and all-encompassing, not limited to the "Dragon Elephant Prajna Technique," so it wasn't recorded how far he had progressed. Otherwise, the greatest practitioner of the Dragon Elephant Technique throughout history wouldn't have been the Dharma King of the Golden Wheel.

"Since Tibetan Yoga was founded by Master Padmasambhava, and he revised the Dragon Elephant Prajna Technique, it seems promising..." Qi Feng felt he had found the right approach.

"Hey, does anyone know where to learn yoga?" Qi Feng asked his roommates. He thought searching online would only yield ads, so it was better to ask if anyone knew a reliable place.

Everyone was taken aback by Qi Feng's sudden question, except for Lao He, who said, "Fengzi, you've been quite restless lately. What's with the sudden interest in yoga?"

"Uh, I want to improve my flexibility. It will help with my basketball skills," Qi Feng improvised. "Look at Hakeem Olajuwon; he practiced yoga, and his flexibility made him play like a guard despite his height."

Lao He countered, "Speaking of basketball, how long has it been since you last played? It's been over a month since the start of the semester, right?"

Qi Feng dodged the question, "I've been busy, carrying 200 pounds of beef to the store every day. It's not easy. And I'm asking about basketball, right?"

Lao He scoffed, "I'd believe that when pigs fly. Don't insult my intelligence. Well, I won't ask anymore. If you don't want to tell the truth, that's fine. There's a yoga class at our school."

Everyone was curious, "Huh? How do you know, Lao He?"

Lao He scratched his head, "Lily signed up at the beginning of the semester. It's popular now for body shaping and fitness."

Qi Feng was puzzled, "Do you have to sign up? Is it an elective? I didn't see it on the course list."

Lao He shook his head, "No, it's a club. The Yoga Club is in the East Campus Gym."

Hearing this, Qi Feng got ready to leave. He didn't dare ride his bike given his current state, so he had to walk to the East Campus. Fortunately, after the morning's turmoil, his "upgrade" seemed to have stopped, and he could control his movements at a steady pace.

When he arrived at the East Campus Gym, Qi Feng saw a large poster for the Yoga Club on the wall outside. The poster featured a colorful silhouette of a well-built woman standing on one leg, hands raised in a classic yoga pose.

"Is this a women-only club?" Qi Feng muttered, but since he had come, he decided to ask. Following the directions on the poster, he went inside the gym.

"Okay, the office is 221B," Qi Feng saw the door was half-open and went in directly.

The office wasn't large, about a hundred square feet, with a long conference table and a few desks. It was lunchtime, and only a man and a woman were inside. Qi Feng glanced around briefly, confirming they were a handsome guy and a beautiful girl.

The girl smiled, "Classmate, can I help you?"

Qi Feng scratched his head, "I heard you teach yoga here. I want to learn. Can I sign up?"

The tall guy, at least a head taller than Qi Feng, waved his hand, "No, the sign-up period is over."

"Oh, sorry to bother you." Qi Feng was about to leave, thinking he'd have to learn outside of school, which would be expensive. Although his current income was decent, with the game shop's ability, expenses would be high. If not for the money he had swindled from Xu Xiaoxia, he wouldn't even be able to afford the two medicines, let alone manage his finances.

"Hey, Yan Yufeng, what are you doing? You're part of the Yoga Club, and you're turning people away?" The beautiful girl was upset, angrily pushing the guy aside and smiling at Qi Feng, "Classmate, you can sign up. Fill out this form. Do you have your student ID?"

Uh, what's going on here? Qi Feng looked at the two, sensing something was amiss.

Sure enough, the tall and handsome Yan Yufeng (whether he was rich wasn't clear) came over to Qi Feng, "All the students here are girls. There are no classes for boys."

"Oh, is that so...?" Qi Feng turned to the girl, realizing this was a jealousy issue. He had no interest in getting involved.

"Didn't you drive them all away!" The girl glared at him, her ponytail swinging high.

"Persuade?" Qi Feng sized up Yan Yufeng, who was indeed tall and athletic, but it seemed exaggerated that he could drive away all the boys. Maybe he was a rich second-generation?

Yan Yufeng asked impatiently, "Why would a guy come to learn yoga? You're just here for the girls and their revealing outfits. I can see it in your eyes."

Heaven and earth, I really just want to practice, Qi Feng thought, feeling quite helpless. He was considering backing out, not because he was afraid of Yan Yufeng, but because practicing with a bunch of girls would feel strange.

The ponytailed girl didn't contradict him, asking Qi Feng, "Classmate, why did you want to learn yoga?" It seemed Yan Yufeng's concerns weren't unfounded; many boys who wanted to join had ulterior motives. After all, it was an engineering school, and young men with high testosterone levels were understandable.

Of course, Qi Feng's purpose was simple, and he couldn't admit to being a pervert. "Oh, I heard yoga improves flexibility. I think it would be useful for me. I like playing basketball, and improving flexibility would help my skills..."

Before Qi Feng could finish, Yan Yufeng interrupted, staring at him, "You said you like playing basketball?"

Qi Feng felt a bit uneasy under his gaze, "Uh, yes. What about basketball?"

Yan Yufeng lifted his chin, extended his right hand, and pointed at Qi Feng's shoulder, "Kid, I challenge you to a duel!"

Qi Feng was stunned. What? This guy must really hate basketball to challenge him to a duel. Why not challenge someone else on the school's basketball court?

Seeing Qi Feng's confusion, Yan Yufeng retracted his hand and pointed at his own chest, "One-on-one. If you can't beat me, you can't learn yoga. Come practice with me instead." His demeanor was quite arrogant.

Qi Feng was speechless, "A... what?"

Yan Yufeng sneered, "Basketball, of course!"

Qi Feng was speechless. I thought you wanted to fight!
