Luobi pondered. If she entered the Talent Contracting Master Academy, she could receive guidance from official mentors, which would be much better than her own blind exploration and accidental discoveries. However, she strongly opposed the idea of using the Bifei stones obtained through covert operations to participate in the apprentice assessment, and there was no room for negotiation. Luobi didn't want to make herself miserable.

After much deliberation, Luobi still couldn't get over her mental barrier, so she said, "I don't want to rush into the assessment. Let's talk about this later."

Feng Ling was surprised: "You need to think carefully."

This time, Luobi didn't hesitate and said, "I have thought it through."

Feng Ling didn't insist further. After a moment of hesitation, he suggested, "The combat team has a heavy workload these days. Can we postpone the wedding?"

"The wedding is just a formality. If we don't have time, we can skip it," Luobi smiled. Who knew when they might part ways? Holding a wedding would just be a waste of money.

Weddings! Luobi hadn't expected one before she came to this world, and she certainly didn't care for one now. Marriages in the three star systems offered no security. Women could change husbands whenever they got tired of them, and men, once they had the means, could divorce and find new partners.

Whether men or women, once the old was gone, the new would come, and they were all heartless and carefree.

Feng Ling smiled, thinking Luobi was just speaking offhandedly and didn't take it seriously. After sitting for a while, he got up and said, "Go to bed early if you're tired." He then entered the bedroom first.

The living room fell silent. Luobi suddenly realized she would be sharing a bed with Feng Ling tonight, and her heart raced. After some mental preparation, she finally made her way to the bedroom after a long while.

Feng Ling was looking at his optical brain. Seeing her come in, he got out of bed and went to the bathroom.

Luobi didn't know what to do, so she went to the window and sat on the sofa, lost in thought. After some time, Feng Ling came out of the bathroom after his shower. Luobi looked up and saw that the man was only wearing a towel around his waist. Her heart skipped a beat, and she quickly averted her gaze, pretending nothing was wrong.

Feng Ling knew Luobi was uncomfortable but didn't mind. They were married, and it was only a matter of time before they saw each other naked. He opened the wardrobe, where both their clothes were neatly arranged by him, and took out his pajamas. He then undid the towel around his waist and changed into his pajamas in front of Luobi.

Luobi was sitting on the sofa, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw him. She subtly turned her gaze, tilting her head to look outside as if checking the weather, and through the window, she caught a glimpse of the starry sky.

However, Luobi wasn't in the mood to appreciate it, just staring absentmindedly.

Feng Ling smiled for no reason and turned to ask, "Aren't you going to take a shower?"

Luobi nodded and said, "Mm," then got up and went to the bathroom. She came out shortly after, and Feng Ling, who was lying in bed using his communicator, looked up, surprised by how quickly she had finished.

Luobi walked to the wardrobe and explained, "I'm getting my pajamas."

She opened the wardrobe, took out her pajamas, and returned to the bathroom. Due to her severe psychological cleanliness, she washed herself three times before drying off and putting on clean pajamas, then came out of the bathroom.

Feng Ling had already hung up his communicator and was lying in bed pretending to be asleep. Hearing the noise, he opened his eyes and saw her, pausing and narrowing his eyes to look at Luobi.

Luobi wasn't inferior to Zhang Hui, Qiu Qiu, and An Jing in appearance, but she always dressed plainly and never wore dresses that highlighted her femininity. Compared to the three women who were meticulously dressed, she didn't stand out, and her appearance was gradually overlooked.
