Interrupted by Luo Yan's sudden interjection, Wen Yao frowned but said nothing, only looking at Luo Bi with a questioning gaze.
Luo Bi felt a surge of anger in her heart, but after a while, she managed to suppress it. She lifted her head and looked at Luo Yan's smug face, "Do you have a question for me?"
"What?" Luo Yan smiled confidently, feeling entitled. With her current prestigious status, everyone treated her with respect wherever she went, and in the Luo family, she could do as she pleased. It was just a piece of red jade; if she needed it, her grandfather and brother would find a way to get it for her.
So, Luo Bi asked calmly, "Do you have any shame?"
Luo Yan's smile froze on her face.
"Huh." Wen Yao laughed for no apparent reason.
Luo Bi glanced at him and quickly looked away.
"Luo Bi, don't go too far." Luo Jun scolded her sternly.
Luo Yan, a rather pretty girl, turned pale, her brows furrowed, and her teeth clenched. She wanted to poke Luo Bi's face, but Luo Bi, being highly alert, took two steps back to maintain a distance.
"You actually dare to insult me. Watch me deal with you." She was still not satisfied after making this threat and raised her hand, ready to slap Luo Bi.
Luo Bi's eyes narrowed, her gaze sharp like a knife. Today, whoever dared to touch her would surely regret being born, even if they were related by blood. In her previous life, when her own brother raised his hand to scare her, she wouldn't let it go. If she were hit by someone else in this life, she wouldn't stand for it.
"Enough." Wen Yao stopped her, standing up and saying, "Since she is unwilling to give you the red jade, this matter is none of your concern. You should leave now."
"I won't leave." Luo Yan ignored Wen Yao and threw a tantrum at her brother.
"This is my office." Wen Yao tapped the table.
"That piece of red jade is very important to me. I can't leave." Seeing Wen Yao's frown deepen, Luo Yan hesitantly walked over and pleaded, "Brother Wen Yao! Please."
Luo Bi felt uncomfortable and looked at her strangely. What was going on? Was she trying to seduce him again? Even if she applied orchid oil, she still had a stench of promiscuity, unrepentant as ever.
How could someone like her be a Luo? It was embarrassing.
Wen Yao looked at Luo Bi with a helpless expression.
"Don't look at me. I won't give her the red jade, no matter what. There's no room for negotiation." Luo Bi firmly stated her position.
"Think about it again, we are family..." Wen Yao tried to persuade her.
Luo Bi laughed sarcastically, "You really know how to joke. Do we look like a family? She demands whatever she likes, regardless of whether others agree, and if she can't get it, she resorts to violence. Is this how your family behaves?"
Wen Yao couldn't help but notice her sharp tongue but still smiled, tapping the table with his long fingers, "Don't take it out on me. I'm just a mediator, trying to help both sides."
Luo Bi sneered, "Sorry, I have something to do. I'm leaving." She called to Guan Zhuting and was about to leave.
"You can't leave!" Luo Yan screamed, her voice shrill, startling a few people.
Luo Bi only looked at her with disgust and continued walking towards the door.
Luo Yan ran over to grab Luo Bi, but Luo Bi's evasive skills were exceptional. She quickly and skillfully dodged, her eyes filled with disdain as she looked at Luo Yan.
