Biu~ In an instant, Liu Rui'an returned to the underground base of Umbrella Technology Company. Recalling the events of the previous night, a smug smile appeared on the corner of his lips.

It was impossible not to feel smug. Although he ultimately used some cheating methods, the fact that the formidable Black Widow submitted to him brought a sense of psychological satisfaction that far outweighed mere physical pleasure.

However, Liu Rui'an also knew that last night's encounter wouldn't have any impact on Natasha Romanoff, and there was no way a cliché plot where she would ask him to take responsibility would happen.

As she had said when they parted, last night was just a beautiful evening, something that didn't need to be taken to heart.

Fortunately, Liu Rui'an hadn't intended to create trouble for himself. This outcome was perfect, and encountering a cliché plot where he would be asked to take responsibility would have been a real headache.

After taking care of the main business and enjoying a bit of pleasure, Liu Rui'an, now back to his "original form," didn't forget his major task.

A month isn't a long time, and it was already time to travel again.

With the underground base becoming increasingly complete and the Protoss having undergone several upgrades, Liu Rui'an no longer needed to prepare for his travels. He just needed to give an order, and the Protoss would take care of everything.

Considering the special nature of the world he was about to visit, in addition to the newly built Punisher-class frigate, Liu Rui'an also had the Protoss prepare two "base vehicles."

These base vehicles were not the same as those in "Red Alert," at least not yet.

However, the various equipment and supplies in the vehicles were sufficient to support the operation of a small base.

If there were enough resources, it would be possible to establish a large base or even a city, similar to the base vehicles in "Red Alert."

Of course, this process would be much longer than in the game.

As Liu Rui'an locked in the time and location of the world he was about to travel to, the Punisher-class frigate, carrying the two "Optimus" base vehicles with a tractor beam, quickly disappeared into the travel zone with a Biu~.

"49, you've changed course and are heading towards the boundary of the safe zone!"

"You may be exposed to nuclear radiation!"

Vika, sitting in the control center of Tower 49, couldn't help but remind him as she looked at the information displayed on her workstation.

"Warning! Radiation Contamination Zone!"

Looking at the red warning sign and message displayed on the transparent window of the aircraft, Jack Harb answered:

"Alright, Vika, I see it."

"I just want to check one more time before I go back. Communication might be interrupted."

"Jack, we must maintain contact. Let me know where you are."

Vika, sitting at her workstation, didn't get a response from her companion and lover, so she asked again:

"Did you hear me?"

Unfortunately, Jack Harb had already flown his aircraft into a desolate canyon with a massive waterfall, either due to approaching the radiation zone or because of the severe damage to the Earth's surface after the alien battles.

Not long after entering the canyon, the signal representing Jack's aircraft disappeared from the control panel of the tower.

Although this wasn't the first time such a situation had occurred, Vika's eyes were filled with helplessness and complex emotions as she watched it happen again.

"Done, Bob." Jack Harb, looking at the Q-version figurine on the control panel of his aircraft, said with a smile: "You know where we're going."

Following the river in the canyon, Jack Harb flew through a cave and arrived at a relatively large valley.

Unlike the desolate outside, the valley was full of greenery and vitality.

Having been here before, Jack Harb skillfully landed his aircraft on an open space in front of a small house, but he didn't notice the unusual phenomenon that suddenly appeared in the sky above the valley.

With a "click," he closed the circuit breaker, and the previously dark and lifeless house quickly lit up.

Placing a bear plushie he had found on the almost useless refrigerator and a book he had also found on the bookshelf, Jack Harb then selected a record he liked from his collection and put it into the old record player.

Before long, a soothing melody filled the house.

After changing into casual clothes and drinking some pure water from the stream in front of the house, Jack Harb relaxed and lay down on the grass by the stream, falling asleep shortly after.

Biu~ In an instant, Liu Rui'an, who had just traveled to this world, appeared by the stream, which was otherwise empty except for Jack Harb.

Although he felt sympathy for the protagonist, Liu Rui'an didn't intend to waste too much time on him.

A single mind control spell sent Jack Harb, who was already asleep, into a deeper sleep without any resistance.

After easily obtaining a blood sample from him, Liu Rui'an, who had transformed into Jack Harb's appearance, quickly returned to the aircraft.

Without the remote control from the tower, the aircraft's operating system was quickly replaced by the artificial intelligence program Liu Rui'an had brought.

However, Liu Rui'an didn't rush to leave. Instead, he contacted the Punisher-class frigate with his personal terminal.

Taking advantage of the fact that the valley couldn't be remotely monitored, one of the base vehicles was quickly activated in the most suitable location.

With the activation of humanoid and non-humanoid engineering robots, a small base was established in less than half an hour.

After sending the original Jack Harb to the base for research, Liu Rui'an, who had cloned his appearance, soon discovered a spacecraft falling from the sky.

Knowing exactly what this thing was, Liu Rui'an immediately flew the aircraft he had just obtained toward the landing site.

Almost as soon as the aircraft left the valley's shielded area, Liu Rui'an received a communication from Tower 49.

"Jack, where have you gone?" Vika, who had also discovered the spacecraft, said at the control panel:

"An object has landed in Sector 17."

"It's heading for the signal," Liu Rui'an, quickly getting into character, said.

"Exactly," Vika, monitoring the situation at the control panel, confirmed.

"I see it; it's a spacecraft," Liu Rui'an, continuing his role, said.

"Jack, Tate is about to go offline," Vika, looking somewhat nervous, reminded him.

"I'm on my way," Liu Rui'an, approaching the target area at full speed, replied.

Knowing her companion and lover's character, Vika immediately contacted the command center in Earth's orbit.

"We've detected an unknown object landing in Sector 17, where the aliens are sending signals. Jack is on his way."

"Control, our communication is about to be interrupted."

"However, the drones are ready and about to take off."

"Have your people stand down," Commander Sally ordered through the control platform.

"Understood," Vika, receiving the order, immediately contacted Liu Rui'an, who was heading to Sector 17:

"Jack, the commander orders you to stand down and let the drones take over."

"That's not possible, Control," Liu Rui'an, refusing the order as in the original plot, said:

"Once communication is cut off, stay alert. I need to confirm the safety of this area."

Knowing the result would be the same, Vika didn't try to persuade him further and switched to the communication channel with the command center:

"Sally, Jack is very concerned about the safety here."

"Control, you've had enough losses today," Commander Sally, looking serious at the control panel, said:

"Have him leave immediately. Do you understand?"

"Understood, Commander, I..."

Unfortunately, before Vika could finish her sentence, the signal from the command center in Earth's orbit was lost.

Faced with this situation, Vika, sitting in the control center, could only bang on the control panel to express her anxiety and worry.

However, Vika knew that anxiety and worry wouldn't help in this emergency, so she quickly composed herself and contacted someone:

"Jack, the commander orders you to stand down and let the drones take over."

"I'm already there," Liu Rui'an, seeing the fire on the ground nearby, said.

"Jack, I can't give you a warning, and the commander is offline," Vika, very worried about her lover, tried to persuade him.

Unfortunately, the current Jack Harb was just a clone. Liu Rui'an, unwilling to waste time on a clone, completely cut off the communication between them.

Vika, far away in Tower 49, immediately lost all contact with her lover and couldn't even observe the situation through the aircraft.

Shortly after cutting off the communication, Liu Rui'an landed at the scene, which was filled with fire and debris.

Knowing that drones would soon arrive to eliminate all survivors in the spacecraft, Liu Rui'an didn't waste time like the protagonist.

With several mind transfers, he sent both the empty and occupied stasis pods, as well as the debris of the crashed spacecraft, back to the small base in the valley.

This unbelievable scene was directly observed by the "aliens" who had orchestrated the crash, or rather, the summoning event.
