Dizziness and disorientation.
By the time Yun Fan regained his composure and felt solid ground beneath his feet, he had already appeared in another place.
A fresh breeze greeted him, invigorating and refreshing, causing every pore on his body to open up as if breathing.
Before him lay a lush green meadow, with a few large trees scattered about, and a towering mountain in the distance.
The grass was thick, the trees towering, and the mountain majestic!
Yun Fan took a deep breath, his expression entranced. "Where am I? The air here is so pure and beautiful, it's truly strange that such a place exists on Earth!"
The Spacetime Crystal: "Earth? Who said this is Earth? This is the Qianyuan Continent!"
Yun Fan was startled. "What—? This isn't Earth? Could I have traveled to another planet in just that moment? What kind of speed is this?"
The Spacetime Crystal: "That was spatial travel. No matter how fast something is, it can't compare to spatial travel!"
Looking around, Yun Fan felt both amazed and excited.
He had lived in Yuecheng all his life and had never even visited other parts of Earth, let alone many places within Yuecheng. Today, he had actually arrived on another planet, which felt both astonishing and thrilling.
Yun Fan's heart raced as he clutched the Spacetime Crystal. "Can I learn advanced martial arts on this Qianyuan Continent? Where can I learn them, and can you bring me back to Earth after I learn them?"
The Spacetime Crystal: "The Qianyuan Continent is a world of pure martial arts. Your ancestor, Yun Zhongzi, predicted that after the end of the Law Era on Earth, martial arts would decline and be lost. Even if ancient martial arts were to revive, they wouldn't be comparable to true martial arts and would follow a different path. That's why he left me, the Spacetime Crystal, to connect Earth with the Qianyuan Continent.
I can only travel through space and can only bring you here. As for learning advanced martial arts, you'll have to find your own way. Spatial travel requires a lot of energy, and I need a month to recover before I can bring you back to Earth!"
The clear, childlike voice grew weaker and eventually faded away. The Spacetime Crystal's luster dimmed, and it looked ordinary again.
Yun Fan felt anxious. This place, the Qianyuan Continent, was completely unfamiliar to him. The Spacetime Crystal, though an object, was his only companion.
Now that the Spacetime Crystal's luster had dimmed and it was silent, Yun Fan felt a profound sense of loneliness.
What kind of people lived here?
What did they look like, and what language did they speak? Were they the same as people on Earth?
Yun Fan thought it was unlikely. This was a completely different planet; how could the language be the same?
Yun Fan felt lost and didn't know what to do.
"Hey...! Hey...!" Yun Fan called out to the Spacetime Crystal, but it didn't respond.
It seemed he would have to rely on himself.
Yun Fan instinctively touched the mech bracelet on his left wrist. On the Qianyuan Continent, the mech was his only reliance!
Yun Fan turned and looked in another direction. Not far away, a road cut through the meadow, leading into the distance.
Crossing the meadow, Yun Fan came to the road and glanced both ways.
The road extended for about a hundred meters in both directions before being blocked by trees and mountains. Yun Fan chose a direction at random and started walking.
No matter how lost he felt, he had to find the people of this world first.
After walking about a hundred meters, he reached the foot of a mountain. Trees surrounded him on both sides, with leaves much larger than any plant on Earth.
The road wound through the forest, and Yun Fan walked cautiously, his senses on high alert.
Thud, thud, thud...
In the distance, a sound similar to horse hooves could be heard.
Yun Fan quickly left the road and hid behind a tree thicker than his body.
Soon, three massive black tigers ran past. These tigers were unlike any on Earth, with bodies over ten feet long and tails bringing their total length to nearly twenty feet.
Riding the black tigers were three muscular men, dressed in sleeveless, tight-fitting clothes, tall and well-built.
The black tigers moved quickly, covering over ten meters per second, and soon disappeared from Yun Fan's sight.
Yun Fan held his breath. These black tigers were incredibly powerful, likely equivalent to a third-level gene monster on Earth, or a Transformation Realm martial artist!
Yun Fan, at the peak of the Hidden Strength Realm, was not as strong as any of the three black tigers. The three muscular men, using the black tigers as mounts, were even more powerful. Without using his mech, Yun Fan would be no match for them.
As the black tigers passed, Yun Fan faintly heard someone speaking. Though he didn't catch everything, he heard words like "Tianxiong Gang" and "Fuyuan Gang."
This surprised Yun Fan. The three muscular men spoke a language he understood, which was the language of the Hu people on Earth.
During the dark ages on Earth, most regions were infected by gene diseases, and only Jiang Hua led the Hu people to defend their territory. Many cultural traditions were lost, and only the language of the Hu people remained.
Later, Ji Daoqin developed mechs, and humans launched a counterattack against gene life, eventually expanding into space. The language of the Hu people became the common language of the Galactic Alliance as Earth's people migrated to the stars.
However, the Qianyuan Continent was a world of pure martial arts, not a human colony. The presence of the Hu language here was very surprising to Yun Fan.
"Strange indeed!" Yun Fan muttered to himself, stepping out from behind the tree.
Driven by curiosity, he quickened his pace and followed the road in the direction the black tigers had gone.
After climbing over a hill, he saw a small open-air tavern at the foot of the slope.
Inside the tavern, seven travelers were resting, including the three muscular men.
The natives of the Qianyuan Continent dressed similarly to ancient Earth, making Yun Fan stand out. With no money and being unfamiliar with the place, he didn't dare show himself in the crowded tavern.
"I'll hide and wait until there are no customers, then I'll talk to the tavern owner to see if I heard correctly or if the language here is really the Hu language."
Yun Fan thought to himself, hiding near the tavern and climbing a tree like a monkey to observe from the cover of the leaves.
Most of the customers in the tavern were quiet, but the three muscular men were loud, drinking and eating heartily and talking loudly.
"Damn it, the Tianxiong Gang has been provoking us, the Fuyuan Gang, for a long time. This time, we finally crippled them! From now on, who on Jingyang Road will dare to disrespect us, the Fuyuan Gang?"
"Hehehe... In this battle, we lost many brothers, but we three were lucky. People like Qi Lao Si, Zhang Laogui, and Xiao Mengzi were all more skilled than us, but they died in this battle, while we survived!"
"Let them show off and boss us around every day. Now they're all in the underworld, and we survived. We played a big part in crippling the Tianxiong Gang, so the boss will definitely promote and reward us. Ha... With no competition from the Tianxiong Gang, every day will be a good day!"
...
Yun Fan was listening to the three muscular men when he suddenly felt a hand on the back of his neck, and a stream of energy entered his body, paralyzing him.
A cold voice whispered in his ear, "In broad daylight, a strange figure like you hiding here, what are you up to?"
Yun Fan was shocked. He was a peak Hidden Strength Realm martial artist with quick reflexes, yet someone had approached him without him noticing.
Even a Transformation Realm martial artist couldn't approach him unnoticed, unless it was a Vortex Realm martial artist.
Vortex Realm martial artists, with their Vortex Qi, could injure from ten meters away and were extremely powerful on Earth, capable of fighting mechs bare-handed.
The person who had approached Yun Fan silently and immobilized him with a single move could easily kill him, indicating a strength at least equivalent to a Vortex Realm martial artist on Earth.
Yun Fan's heart tightened. He didn't want to die mysteriously on his first day on the Qianyuan Continent, and he hadn't even seen the face of the person holding him.
The energy from the person's fingertips was strange, not only paralyzing Yun Fan but also making it hard for him to speak. With great effort, he managed to say, "Who... are you?"
A cold voice replied, "I have important matters today. After I complete my task, I'll interrogate you slowly. Then you'll know who I am!"
Yun Fan wanted to ask more, but at that moment, a woman's scream from the tavern caught his attention.
In a corner of the tavern, a black-cloaked figure with a black hood, face hidden, held a young girl.
The girl, about fifteen or sixteen, had a beautiful face and fair, delicate skin. Even in her simple clothes, her beauty was evident.
She was the tavern owner's daughter, who had come out to help because there were more customers than usual. While serving the black-cloaked figure, she was grabbed and groped, causing her to scream.
Under the black hood, a young voice spoke, light and playful, "For such a young girl, you have quite a figure. Nice touch, ha...! Sit down and keep me company. Today, I'll teach you what it means to be a real woman!"
The girl struggled at first, but suddenly her body went limp, and she sat on the black-cloaked figure's lap, weak and powerless.
A cold snort came from behind Yun Fan. "Indeed, it's the traitor Liao Qingyuan. Today, I'll make sure you die."
At that moment, the tavern owner was begging the black-cloaked figure for mercy but was sent flying by a palm strike.
The other customers in the tavern glared at the black-cloaked figure, their faces filled with anger.
Crack!
The table in front of the three muscular men shattered, and they stood up, glaring at the black-cloaked figure.
One of them shouted, "Hey! In broad daylight, you dare to molest an innocent girl, you pervert! Do you want to die?"
The black-cloaked figure didn't look up, his voice cold. "Shouting at me? You're the one who wants to die. If you don't want to die, get lost, or I'll send you to the underworld!"
The three muscular men were furious. "Arrogant!" they shouted.
As they spoke, they each drew a large sword from their backs. The one who had spoken first, the leader, shouted, "Take this!"
With that, he stepped forward and swung his sword, a sharp blade of energy slicing through the air like a white streak.
The black-cloaked figure pushed the girl toward the sword, stood up, and drew a long sword from his waist. The sword flashed like a rainbow.
The muscular man, seeing the girl being pushed toward his sword, was startled and tried to stop his attack.
But the rainbow-like sword flash was faster than lightning, and the muscular man's head flew off, his eyes wide with disbelief.
"Rainbow Flash, the Great Law Sword Technique!"
The other two muscular men were shocked. "Are you a disciple of the Great Law Sect?" they asked, pointing at the black-cloaked figure.
The black-cloaked figure removed his hood, revealing a young, cruel face with a cold smile. "Yes, I am a disciple of the Great Law Sect!"
The two muscular men stepped back, horrified. "The Great Law Sect is a prestigious sect. How can it have a pervert like you as a disciple?"
"You talk too much!"
The young, cruel man shouted and attacked again, his sword technique as fast as a rainbow.
The two muscular men, despite their strength and the flashing blades of their swords, could not block the young man's sword.
In just two strikes, the two muscular men fell dead, joining the first one who had been beheaded. The young man had killed all three with only three strikes!
"Liao Qingyuan!"
At that moment, Yun Fan, still held by the neck, was pulled from the tree. A furious voice shouted, "Traitor, you dare to call yourself a disciple of the Great Law Sect, disgracing our sect's name. Today, you will die!"
