"Ah, hello everyone. I'm Goseimigen, a new dungeon streamer! Now that the new member training is over, I want to dive into the dungeon right away!"

The scene of me and my surroundings is being broadcast on the streaming screen.

Comments:

- Oh, the outfit is just like a newbie.

- Makes me want to protect you.

- Don't die, okay?

After the new member training, everyone is given a dungeon-specific smartphone, which allows you to broadcast your abilities, levels, and the inside of the dungeon.

I'm one of those new members, and I've started the mandatory streaming activity required by the Dungeon Association.

"Turns out it's true that the first stream gets a lot of concurrent viewers."

The number of concurrent viewers, meaning how many people are watching this stream right now, is recording 160 people. It seems there are a lot of foreigners, probably because the high-tech device translates all languages into something familiar to the viewer.

Comments:

- Really!

- I'll be supporting you, but I'll also be screening you.

- I really hope the new guy does his best.

- ↑ Why so condescending, lol.

Screening... that's scary.

I'm not good at communication in general. Even if it's to reduce the death rate, I wish the streaming was more optional.

However, once you enter the dungeon, the broadcast starts automatically, so there's nothing I can do about it.

Privacy, please!

"I'll do my best to meet your expectations. Well, today it seems I'll just be exploring the first floor."

Comments:

- That's right.

- It's a world where those who delve too deep die.

- Please, don't let the rating display come up.

- When I was 19, I saw a death stream, and it was a real trauma.

If a streamer gets too bloody, the AI automatically blocks viewers under 18.

Some mysterious power apparently makes it so that under-18s can't see the screen, though I don't know the details.

I won't die, though!

My motto is to be steady and consistent!

"It's said that it's harder to die on the first floor, but I won't let my guard down."

Comments:

- Mm-hmm.

- Good luck!

Dungeon streamer.

Short for dungeon streamer.

From now on, my glorious dungeon life begins.

---

"This is the first floor, huh..."

I entered the dungeon, my heart racing at the sight of the beautiful receptionist.

The landscape is like a stone cave.

There's no light source, but thanks to the dungeon's properties, it's dim but clearly visible.

It looks a bit beautiful. Not exactly fantastical, but there's a thrilling sense of the extraordinary...

In front of me, four paths branch out.

There's no particular meaning to the branching; the four paths ultimately converge to reach the next floor, as confirmed by the map.

I stop and take a deep breath.

The slight tension is evident from my heart's unrelenting beat.

Leather chest armor, sturdy boots and pants.

My plain face with black hair and eyes is reflected in the metal gauntlet.

I grip the cheap short sword in my sword belt to calm myself down.

Comments:

- You're nervous, huh, lol.

- So fresh.

- Excessive tension is dangerous, but a slight tension is important.

- As long as you don't bash your head on the stone floor, you won't die on the first floor, lol.

- ↑ Stop with the rare cases from six years ago.

Sleeping in the dungeon is pretty impressive...

I'm so tense that there's no way I could fall asleep, and I can't lie down in a dungeon infested with monsters.

"I chose a route with no one around, but why is there no one here?"

Comments:

- Ah, the third route.

- ...Well, it should be fine.

- You did take the training, right?

"Uh? Training? I did."

Comments:

- Well, you should be fine.

- It's a hidden gem, so you can proceed with peace of mind.

What are they talking about...?

I did take the training, yeah. I was sleeping, though.

It was just so long, what could I do?

"Oh, is that a slime?"

After walking down the path for five minutes, I heard a slithering sound coming from ahead.

Straining my eyes, I saw a blue, blob-like creature approaching.

I walked up to the slow-moving slime.

Comments:

- S-L-I-M-E has appeared!

- As always, so cute.

- Don't kill it! Let it go!

"Slimes must die, no mercy."

I plunged my hand into the slime's body and crushed the magic stone inside.

Comments:

- Aaaaaahhhh!!!

- Slime uuuuuu!!!

- What a cruel thing to do!!!

- S-T-Y-L-E!

- Slime is suffering.

The comment section suddenly explodes.

Just for killing a slime, why...?

"Why are slimes so popular? I don't get it."

Comments:

- Aren't they cute?

- They're so weak but they try so hard to live...

- When you think about how they're killed in the thousands every year, it's hard not to feel for them.

"Slimes are just slimes. If you start feeling for every monster... what about the Snow Rabbits?"

Snow Rabbits are adorable rabbit-type monsters.

You don't usually encounter them until you go deeper, and they really just look like regular rabbits, so they're cute.

Comments:

- Snow Rabbits are not allowed.

- They lull you into a false sense of security and then tear your throat out with their fangs.

- Most streams with them end up being splatter shows, which is traumatic.

- Their appearance, strength, and cruelty don't match.

- Snow Rabbits are evil.

- They are monsters.

The comments explode again, but this time in a different way.

I seem to have hit a nerve with the audience, but unfortunately, I don't watch other people's streams much, so I don't know.

"Sorry about that. Anyway, I killed a slime, so praise me?"

Comments:

- Wow, impressive.

- Good job.

- Oh.

- Huh.

"Stop it. This is my first time, you know! I actually killed something!"

Comments:

- I don't care.

- Don't get cocky just for killing a slime.

- Come back and say that after you've dissected a Snow Rabbit.

"I suddenly get insulted. And how much do you hate Snow Rabbits? The word 'dissect' sounds so cruel."

Comments:

- No mercy for monsters!

"Slimes included."

I've dug my own grave.

I've now received permission from the audience to massacre slimes.
