### Chapter 10: No Way
* * *
The thrill was short-lived, as soon a not-so-good news came into view.
Our team has taken a hit!
Oriana was solo-killed by Cassiopeia.
Of course, in terms of matchup, Cassiopeia has a slight advantage over Oriana, but being solo-killed is a different story.
In other words, this meant that Cassiopeia had dominated Oriana in lane skill.
‘Hmm.’
Indeed, a duo with a 90% win rate. Despite the top and jungle being in shambles, there are signs of life from the mid lane.
In League of Legends, the mid lane has the most powerful influence.
There are times when the jungle meta or some other meta comes into play, but that only means the mid lane's influence is relatively reduced. Strictly speaking, throughout the history of League of Legends, the mid lane has always been the most important.
‘If this happens, it will be a bit harder to go for the Rift Herald.’
I was thinking of controlling the four buffs, but with the situation like this, I have to change my strategy.
The jungle is always forced to make choices.
Whether to farm the jungle, gank, take the Rift Herald if you have the initiative, secure objectives, or even repair.
In other words, I have lost one option, which is to take the Rift Herald, due to the loss of initiative by our mid laner.
However, just as every action has a reaction, the loss of initiative by our mid laner is not always a bad thing.
Losing initiative means the enemy will push the lane, which in turn means they are exposed to gank threats.
‘Let’s see how they react.’
I placed a ward on the enemy top.
This will make the already struggling enemy top even more cautious, leading to the loss of the upper Rift Scuttler.
Even if the mid lane has the initiative, the top lane is being pushed, and with our jungler at level 1, no one would dare to fight for the Rift Scuttler.
‘As expected.’
In most games, the upper Rift Scuttler fight often determines the game's outcome.
However, this is only true for normal games. This game is already half over due to the invade.
Despite my direct approach to the upper Rift Scuttler, the enemy Cassiopeia showed no reaction.
Instead, they felt pressured by the possibility of a gank.
Securing the upper Rift Scuttler brought me to level 3.
Originally, I shouldn't have reached level 3, but the numerous kills provided the experience.
I then entered the enemy blue camp.
To observe Rengar's path.
‘The blue is there.’
This means Rengar, after dying, did not take the blue camp but instead avoided me and headed to the bottom jungle.
Here, I have to make another choice.
Whether to invade the enemy jungle, including the blue camp, and dive the top lane to secure a ward.
Or return to base and secure the bottom Rift Scuttler to completely ruin Rengar.
If I were my old self, I would have chosen one of these options.
But now, my physical condition is at its peak.
There's no reason to avoid a fight, so a new option has emerged.
‘I’ll take the mid lane.’
Oriana had just respawned.
Her teleport was used to return to the lane after the invade, so she has none left.
There's no way she can respond to a gank.
But it doesn't matter.
The enemy Cassiopeia, after securing a solo kill, pushed the lane recklessly and used up most of their mana.
Their spells are also already used.
In other words, Cassiopeia is now just a fast-moving snake.
Bang!
Just as a toxic trail was about to be laid in front of me.
I boldly used my Flash, which I had saved since the invade.
Cassiopeia tried to use their ultimate to escape, but the distance was too close due to the red slow and the E skill slow.
Enemy eliminated!
Massacre!
Suppressed!
Oriana must have almost returned to the lane, so I didn't stop here and headed straight to the bottom jungle.
[Rengar – Level 2]
Sure enough, as soon as I entered the river, the newly respawned Rengar was hitting the Rift Scuttler.
If Rengar were at level 3, targeting Cassiopeia would have been a risky move, but the already hindered Rengar had only just eaten one camp.
“Tsk.”
Aiming for the Rift Scuttler at level 2... too arrogant.
“Rift Scuttler confiscated.”
The Rift Scuttler's health was down to about 600.
Another Smite fight broke out.
This time, it was 3 levels against 2.
For Rengar, this was an even worse situation than before.
Rip!
As expected, I won the Smite fight.
And as I won, my level increased.
[Kindred – Level 4]
[Rengar – Level 2]
The result of the following fight was already decided.
Enemy eliminated!
Raging!
Now, I can do as I please.
I can secure the dragon nearby, or finish off my jungle on the blue side.
Most players would be satisfied at this point and secure the dragon and the blue side jungle.
But I pressed the recall button.
[2,144 gold]
Not only had I accumulated a fair amount of gold, but I wanted to show Rengar hell for not dodging.
‘Rengar was at level 2. CS was 4. Only ate the blade fang.’
This means the current state of the enemy jungle is that the top jungle is fully alive, and the bottom jungle has only one camp left.
Rengar must be aware of this.
‘And it gets easier from here.’
I bought tier 2 boots and a core item from the shop and headed straight to the enemy blue jungle.
I bought boots first because kiting is important in fights with Rengar, and to enter the enemy jungle as quickly as possible.
As I crossed the river, the enemy Cassiopeia's movements changed.
They moved early to cover Rengar.
‘It’s a ward, I see.’
Of course, it could be a bluff, so I moved while using a lens.
It was a ward.
‘In that case...’

As I pinged Cassiopeia fiercely, our Oriana started to pressure Cassiopeia.
‘Peek-a-boo.’
Cassiopeia, moving to cover Rengar, was quickly surrounded by Oriana and me.
Rengar appeared late, but at level 2, there was nothing Rengar could do.
Enemy eliminated!
Can't stop it!
As Cassiopeia was quickly eliminated, Rengar tried to escape.
Of course, it was impossible.
Enemy eliminated!
Dominating the battlefield!
After quickly taking out the enemy mid and jungle, I pinged the top lane.
[⊙] [⊙] [⊙]
The reason I pinged the top lane but didn't go there.
The ward I placed in the top lane would naturally be collected once the enemy mid was taken.
[MAX WooChan(Nyar): Save me]
Soon, the enemy top, sensing their impending death, sent a chat message.
The game was already effectively over.
[TheJungler'sSlave(Leesin): I'm tight, see if you can do it]
[MAX WooChan(Nyar): I'm tight]
[TheJungler'sSlave(Leesin): Not enough effort]
[MAX WooChan(Nyar): ********]
Before the words could finish, I and Oriana dove the tower.
A very clean dive, with Leesin taking the tower aggro first.
Enemy eliminated!
[yytvxxiaojin(Rengar): open]
Finally, Rengar's mental state broke, and they declared an open.
Despite the Rift Herald not even spawning, the game was already decided.
“Easy.”
The enemy bottom, still not accepting their defeat, tried to stop us, but they couldn't stop the 5-man team with the Rift Herald.
[Victory]

[1630 LP]
Having secured a relatively easy victory, I immediately queued up again without a break.
‘Let’s do some lurking for a while.’
Given the nature of the high tier, the queue time is quite long, so lurking in the community is one of my main activities.
While browsing the community, a peculiar post appeared in real-time.
Breaking News) Red Cup runner-up duo, 35-win streak finally ends.
