Zhujiu discovered that a fierce battle was taking place a short distance ahead and instinctively crouched down.

After crouching, he realized that this was the Demon Corpse Realm, and these creatures couldn't see him due to the invisibility pill he had taken.

Zhujiu felt that he had been overly tense, so he stood up, smiled, and strode toward the location of the battle.

As he approached, Zhujiu found that one of the combatants was the spell-casting type of demon corpse he had been searching for all day. It was a human-shaped skeleton, with white bones, nearly two meters tall, holding a bone staff about two feet long. The staff's head was slightly thicker and burned with red flames similar to soul fire.

Its opponent was even more peculiar, a strange skeleton that Zhujiu had never seen before. It looked like the remains of a large feline, slightly larger than a tiger or a lion, about the size of a small calf.

Unlike ordinary feline vertebrates, this skeleton had several fierce bone spines on its back, providing ample protection for the relatively fragile lumbar vertebrae.

The most peculiar thing was that the skeleton was an extremely eerie light green, smooth and glossy, as if made of rare jade. Occasionally, a thread of alluring red would flash from the light green skeleton, the two colors alternating and changing, making the entire skeleton look like an extremely exquisite work of art.

When Zhujiu approached to about fifty or sixty meters, both combatants suddenly sensed him, turned their heads to look at his position, and let out silent roars.

The sensitivity of these two demon corpses was so extraordinary that Zhujiu was greatly alarmed. He immediately retreated several meters, and the combatants gradually stopped roaring, once again staring at each other. The red soul fire in their eye sockets suddenly brightened, and they resumed their fierce battle.

The relentless battles between demon corpses were something Zhujiu had become accustomed to over the past half day. Their battles were uncompromising, ending only when one side's soul fire was absorbed. If a third party tried to approach during their battle, it would be seen as a challenge and attacked by both sides.

Standing several dozen meters away, Zhujiu quietly watched the intense battle. The human-shaped skeleton had dark red soul fire in its eye sockets, indicating it was a high-level red soul corpse soldier.

The black bone staff in its bony hand continuously generated red fireballs, which quickly flew out and formed a ring around the skeleton's body.

The flames looked powerful, but surprisingly, it was taking a defensive stance.

The two-colored skeletal beast's soul fire flickered, far less bright than the human-shaped skeleton's, indicating it was a low-level or barely mid-level red soul corpse soldier. Surprisingly, this mid-level strength was enough to battle the rare high-level spell-casting corpse soldier, and it even held the upper hand in the stalemate.

This strange phenomenon piqued Zhujiu's interest. He widened his eyes and observed the two-colored skeletal beast, noticing that it moved steadily, slowly circling the outer edge of the ring of flames, waiting for an opportunity to suddenly leap up, attacking fiercely and wildly.

When the spell-casting skeleton saw its opponent pounce, it fired several fireballs, which collided with the beast's forehead, making a "puff" sound and effectively stopping its attack.

The beast fell to the ground, shaking its bony head, clearly suffering significant damage. However, the eerie light green bones glowed, and the scorched and blackened areas on its skull quickly recovered, though the soul fire in its eyes dimmed slightly.

The beast let out a silent roar to the sky, as if its rage was uncontrollable. It crouched, gathering strength, and suddenly leaped again, charging forward despite the continuous fireballs.

Several fireballs struck the beast's bones, but it did not retreat, showing an incredibly aggressive and fierce temperament. It was determined to kill its opponent quickly, even at the cost of its own injuries, refusing to back down.

The spell-casting skeleton continuously retreated, trying to create distance, but it was far slower than the charging beast. After retreating more than ten meters, it was finally caught by the beast.

The skeleton, experienced in battle, realized it had no more room to retreat. The red soul fire in its eye sockets suddenly brightened, and the black staff in its hand emitted a brilliant red light, shooting out a fist-sized flame like a meteor, which struck the beast's waist as it leaped. Several light green ribs of the beast were silently burned through, creating a fist-sized hole.

However, the beast did not dodge. In mid-air, it swiftly extended its large claws and slapped the skeleton's head, breaking its neck bone. The skull flew several meters away and rolled to the ground.

What a powerful attack!

The victorious beast was not unscathed. It landed unsteadily, and its bones made a crisp "crack" sound. The bones in its waist, which had been struck by the final attack, were about to fall off, and the eerie light green bones on the rest of its body turned black, losing their luster.

Zhujiu stood about fifty or sixty meters away, stunned by the short but intense battle. This fierce beast was so dominant, a matter of life and death, with a terrifying aura!

Zhujiu's thoughts raced. This beast was so extraordinary; it must be something special. If he could subdue it, wouldn't it be far superior to a spell-casting demon corpse?

In the battlefield, the beast walked to where the skull had rolled and began the process of absorbing the soul fire.

As the beast inhaled, the red soul fire in the skull slowly stretched and was absorbed into the beast's skull. The originally bright soul fire in the skull gradually dimmed and eventually disappeared, and the skull lost its luster, becoming decayed and broken.

Correspondingly, the beast's body regained its light green luster, and the hole in its waist quickly healed, restoring to its original state.

The soul fire in the beast's skull became brighter, lively and active, as if it were a living thing.

The color of the soul fire gradually turned bright red, indicating it had reached the mid-level of a true corpse soldier. This absorption had taken a small step forward in its evolution.

After absorbing the soul fire from the skull, the beast raised its thick bone claw and crushed the skull, which had lost its energy. It then walked to the headless skeleton and exerted force to absorb the remaining soul power, leaving no trace behind.

Finally, the skeleton, deprived of the last bit of soul power, gradually weathered and scattered in the wind, leaving no trace.

The beast suddenly let out a silent roar, its soul vibrations rippling out. All the red soul corpses within a thousand meters turned to look at the beast, but none dared to challenge its silent roar. They all retreated, moving to more distant places, acknowledging the beast's supremacy.

The beast's silent roar suddenly stopped, and it turned its eerie light green skull to look at Zhujiu's position. It sensed a vital and irresistible soul power from there, which was incredibly attractive!

Holding a piece of soul-stabilizing green copper in his palm, Zhujiu stepped toward the beast, feeling a vague sense of tension deep in his heart.

As Zhujiu approached, the red light in the beast's eye sockets suddenly brightened, and the soul fire inside could be clearly seen trembling. The beast was moved!
