Chapter 7

When I wake up, I see the sterile ceiling of the hospital, as usual.

My head feels a bit fuzzy for a while.

Whenever I switch from the other world, my consciousness always gets hazy.

Especially when I wake up in the hospital room, I feel this way for a bit.

I try to move my neck, which can barely move at all.

No one is in the room today, either.

I keep casting the [Wind Magic].

After a while, a nurse comes in.

I pretend to be asleep to get as much alone time as possible.

She seems to be changing the IV and the diaper.

……

I can’t feel anything, but it seems that I am still able to excrete.

I can’t help but feel down when my diaper is being changed.

If I could just learn [Recovery Magic], I wouldn’t have to go through this feeling.

But what about the current hospital expenses?

Normally, the person responsible for the accident would cover them, right...

I remember being hit by a truck.

So the transportation company must be paying the medical bills.

Probably the insurance company, too.

I was on my way to school by bicycle, and the traffic light at the crosswalk was definitely green.

I’m not that stupid to ignore a traffic light on a national road.

I’m a third-year high school student, so I need to study for my exams.

I have to learn [Recovery Magic] as soon as possible...

After the nurse leaves the room, I continue casting [Wind Magic] relentlessly.

I feel like the movement of the blanket is a bit larger.

Maybe the level of [Wind Magic] has increased.
