TL Note: Hello! Sky here. Just a heads up, I have no plans to TL the full novel in the future because I already have 2 ongoing projects and I only translated 1 chapter because I found the story interesting while I’m reading it right now. Chapter 1

Every year, the transfer period of new and old players amongst teams is a well-deservedly eventful time in the gaming world.

Almost every day, you could see the keywords of different games on the Weibo hot search – it was usually about the transfer, big tournaments, or about players’ private lives.

The latest trending phrase to hit the gaming world is the “Wang Yan1” god joining the PUBG division of Team IS.

The transfer of an e-sports player is mostly accompanied by a bloody storm, but this statement became more intriguing when viewed in conjunction with another previous hot search, “Fan Hua2 and Wang Yan Spraying3!“.

This “Fan Hua” was a talented rookie sniper of one of the industry’s giants in full swing, Team IS.

The two people who have sprayed each other are about to become teammates.

People were naturally happy to witness this.

If you search their ID’s at the same time, you would see the video of the “spraying” that started with Wang Yan: at the most emotional point, Wang Yan even almost broke the voice –

Wang Yan: “You said yourself that you sniped a person did you not? Want to get the Nobel Peace Prize? Say it straight you TM4, was the gun I gave you useful?”

Fan Hua: …

Wang Yan: “After long time of playing you already know the tracing edge, yet you still play with that gun? Can’t you just roll home and embroider properly to contribute to the inheritance of traditional crafts?”

Fan Hua: …

Wang Yan: “Not talking?”

Fan Hua: …

Wang Yan: “You still dare not speak, I have the 18.82cm to block you and you still can’t say anything? You cheat me to send you that M24 but you’re still not quite capable?”

Those cursings weren’t just harsh, but they also carried a straight man’s fascinating way of bragging about himself, one of Wang Yan’s widely known spraying styles- so there is no doubt that in this game, this person’s reputation can be extremely bad.

Asian server’s No. 1 sprayer, super high resolution non-destructive loud mouth was what described him- apparently in the video, he has been cursing for a while, and until there, Fan Hua who was sprayed so hard, finally had emotional ups and downs: “You… you can’t scold me like this.”

It can be seen that Fan Hua had no power to speak back, but Wang Yan, after a second of silence, continued to speak again, “Finally speaking? What, this person scolds you but you aren’t satisfied? I’ll give you another rap if you’re not satisfied? Do you want a single or double verse?”

Immediately after, his words seemed to start fluctuating a bit because of the network, and this was undoubtedly another crush in his glorious record. But at that time he was live, so apparently, his speed of speech was slower, but he still persisted in explaining to the other, “I know, today is my game was too bad for me to deserve to take the M24 you haven’t played well, but… We are both boys, you can’t stop me… from talking, like earlier.”

At that time, the live broadcast room was silent for a second and immediately broke out into a rain of question marks brushing the screen.

Would have been just Wang Yan cursing like usual, but Fan Hua spoke too seriously so that the atmosphere sharply took a turn and suddenly became gay. Ten seconds later, even the big sprayer Wang Yan’s words sounded bashful, his spraying rhythm broke, and took him a while for him to finally type: …Alright, alright, you not speaking still disgusts me, and with your performance today, if not me, your fucking fans would come for you.

“Oh… but, I caused you to die so I still want to say sorry to you… don’t get angry, OK?”

Fang Hua was never a self-absorbed type of player who loves to open the mic, but at that time for some reason, he seriously wanted to communicate with Wang Yan.

His tone was as clear as a freshly thawed stream in early spring, but he usually doesn’t talk, so the already boiling live broadcast room directly exploded- the fans bursted with excitement, but also did not forget to say in the comments, “General Hua, you may want to engage with others, but not this kind engage! ah ah ah ah!”, Wang Yan is unprecedented to grumble for a long time, and he finally spoke a word “that…”

But at the same time, Fan Hua also spoke, a slight voice spit out an exclamation: “You are more frightening than I thought ah ……”

The scene was awkward for a while, and it seemed that Fan Hua realized that he said the wrong thing, so he could only wait for Wang Yan to break out and start spraying again, showing that fancy spraying he did during the whole game, however, until the end of that video, the big sprayer Wang Yan was uncharacteristically silent, and also withdrew from the battle in front of everyone, taking the initiative to break off the spraying war for the first time.

The two never crossed paths before this match. The story of this spat was also very simple to say.

The game took place at 2am on a winter night.

As a straight man with a foul mouth that can be seen everywhere in the game, Wang Yan opened the game and excitedly asked after entering the 4-person team, “Is there a girl?” The other two teammates all replied in seconds “little gege, do you want a fierce man instead?”, “bro, you have a little problem with your mind, this game only has a few girls”, only Fan Hua was silent, but Wang Yan still persistently wagged his little wolf tail and asked this player, “Are you a girl?” Fan Hua still didn’t reply, which led to Wang Yan thinking that it was a silent agreement. He then typed: Shy? You…you are so cute.

After all, the game character chosen by Fan Hua was the female body type, but was also wearing black suspenders and a policewoman small short skirt.

Then later, the Wang Yan was in a fierce airdrop fight to kill three people in a row, to get the gun in the airdrop, the M24.

The M24 is one of the top three snipers in the game, second only to the AWM, and the only way to get it in the current version is through airdrops, which made it not only a popular gun, but also made it Fan Hua’s personal favorite weapon. However, his own equipment was very poor at the time, so once he heard Wang Yan showing off the new M24, he couldn’t help but follow the Wang Yan in two hills, looking a bit pathetic.

Soon, the Wang Yan, who was addicted to killing, also noticed his two melee guns, and naturally took pity on him, unloaded the M24 on the spot and gave it to him.

Perhaps the beginning of all good online relationships in the world is just like this.

Even though Fan Hua’s state that day was very poor, he wasn’t even able to hit a head yet, but Wang Yan, this big sprayer, uncharacteristically coaxed, his tone of voice as gentle as trying to coax him to bed.

One of the teammates witnessed this and couldn’t help but laugh, “General Hua, is your hand shaking? Do you like that gun your Wang Yan ge gave you~?”

High scoring players usually know each others’ player ID’s, so Fan Hua replied “like, ah”. Only when his clear and low male voice was heard at that moment, no one could have expected that the No. 1 sprayer’s heart was so fragile.

So when the spraying rightfully broke out, although Wang Yan’s spraying steadily prevailed, the subsequent fighting power of the fans watching on both sides was the other extreme.

After all, in PUBG professional tournaments, Fan Hua is the most eye-catching newcomer- he debuted in the magnificent Team IS (Imperial Sword), his shooting skills stunned the crowd, not to mention his game ID, which can be described as beautiful and charming that male and female fans like very much. Fan Hua belongs to the type of people that with one look, not only the heart will move, the hands would also move.

This Wang Yan was as popular as the high-scoring players since the game’s launch, but he didn’t join any team, only occasionally playing online tournaments but never attended the offline competition to show his face, so the heat from his popularity gradually cooled down. Some time ago he scolded a small team in an online competition, and that small team disbanded at light speed, like many clubs that do not develop at the beginning of the game. But he even dared to spray against the popular rising star Fan Hua, so the consequences would naturally speak for themselves.

So this time, the news of Wang Yan joining Team IS caused the official blog’s comment section to explode in just less than half an hour.

Undoubtedly, the new member who only dared to play online and whose mouth and hands were obviously unclean, was overwhelmingly mocked and abused by tens of thousands of messages under the IS official blog with no sign of stopping.

[What kind of slut is in IS? Talking about gods? Where is your god huh NM5? Can’t buy hot search keywords or do you want me to teach you?]

[Damn this, he really had the strength? But didn’t he refuse to appear offline? So its just a fear of being exposed? This time, is he crazy or your team’s Boss Ou crazy?]

[Mr. Ou, you are already a mature rich generation, you should learn to play with male models when there is no place to spend more money instead of buying this kind of player, who can fucking tame the guy?]

[Bothering the floor owner, is there someone in the team who can tame him?]

[For the flow of your lives, you’d even recruit a person like this? Are your brains not going to explode?]

[This brother doesn’t have quality ah, I would like to sit and wait for God Wang Yan to perform a 100° gun pull and do a double kill hahaha]

[Wang Yan? You fucking missed the win94 speed machine aim continuous headshot hahaha]

[He’s all I could see on the hot search, we should not do this, okay? As we all know, our gaming circle is a place known for civilizing, love, and kindness. Let us bring the warmest blessing for the family of God Wang Yan: NM, die (heart)]

[666, not that his mother really passed away?]

Almost all fans are abusive, plus Fan Hua and Wang Yan had that conflict, everyone is worried that this team will sooner or later explode internally.

What is also strange is that the official announcement didn’t include a photo of the new player in his team uniform, which not only made all the viewers who wanted to see Wang Yan’s true face have to wait, but also seemed to be completely inconsistent with the high-profile approach Team IS usually does.

It’s hard to imagine that one of the biggest e-sports clubs, which was built up by a top rich second generation, would look at a controversial “pheasant” player like Wang Yan.

It is reasonable to say that this club should always be talked about.

In the past two years, the owner, who is only in his early 20s, has not only focused on developing his gaming team but also started his own live streaming platform [WaveTV] and peripheral brand, stretching his business to multiple games.

The first and second teams of the League of Legends division are nominally separated, not to mention their awards in the 17th season championship as runner-ups. This time, the PUBG division was just established, but they already bought three players of superior quality, with the idea of sweeping domestic and international tournaments.

The last starting position of the team, however, has not been officially announced, but [Wave TV] signed the name of a popular anchor who would play a few games.

As the games become more formal and large-scale, the recruitment of players and the debut was imminent, but this team always seemed to be dissatisfied with the candidate. So later, when the whole professional circle has already been observed by the audience, Team IS still hadn’t made any movements.

For this reason, the forum was abuzz with rumors for a long time, always wondering who would be the next member of this rich second generation’s team would be, but no one expected that would be the result.

So until the early hours of the morning, the comments under the official Team IS blog were still growing at a very considerable rate. But in the midst of all the cursing, a comment from team captain Shen Ye quietly appeared, and then was brought up to be the top comment in less than ten minutes.

In line with the captain’s usually flirty and outgoing persona, that comment quickly became the most popular comment on the official announcement of the Wang Yan’s debut.

[My team’s first sniper’s gun is hot, waiting for dormitory duel results ah ~]

A stone could stir up a thousand waves, amidst the chaos, only Shen Ye’s comment was flush with flirtation had replies like [you are in this gay thing?] But someone soon noticed that this meant Wang Yan and Fan Hua would share a dormitory, so another level of questioning also quickly came up:

[These two people can also be arranged to a room? You’ll really form a team even after Wang Yan’s words?]

[Damn, our General Hua is the flower of the motherland, and next to a sprayer like him? Why?]

[Shocked, remember what this guy said to Fan Hua?]

[Holy shit, you can shut up, brother, I already have a picture of the electric fan]

The real-time comments were still lively, while in the IS team base, captain Shen Ye was leisurely lying on his bed, and after scrolling through the app, he began to examine a message from the rich boss of the team.

The other party’s identity, despite being the boss, was actually several years younger than him, and now that he was busy with business while furthering his studies, he was inevitably more concerned: [Captain Shen, this decision that you suggested I make, are you sure it’s alright?]

Shen Ye habitually rubbed his eyes and scanned his joke twice before quickly giving a short reply, looking more confident than ever.

[Bro, if this decision can even be fucking wrong, you should stop playing with male models and play me instead]

The author has something to say:

Gong: black powder / naturally clingy little wolf dog

Shou: overbearing president / cruel and straightforward / fierce however accomplishes fuck all

This is the story of the great sprayer who was gagged and could not say anything (?).

In addition to the main CP, the supporting characters are all straight men, so there’s no official sub-CP (?).

The story is involved with the esports game, Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG). For those who don’t play the game, your reading won’t be affected. The story is about love and the story inside and outside the game, so the game isn’t explained in much detailAlthough the person is a sprayer, in fact, he is still more civilized so everyone rest assured! I don’t want to be locked again because the sprayer character is a bit too harsh. The game version, tournament style and system shouldn’t be looked at too much, as it’s my own interpretation(No need to read if you don’t play the game) tournament points aren’t divided to TPP & FPP mode, these depend on the situation (most will be divided), I hope the little angels playing the game understand~

Notes:

Wang Yan: 妄言, “nonsense” or “delusion” (ID name)Fan Hua: 繁花, “flourishing blossoms” (ID name, very elegant if you ask me)Spraying: slang for trolling or cursing out people online, trashtalkingTM: pinyin abbreviation for 他媽 (ta ma) is an internet slang that uses the latin characters for cursing, it means “damn it” or “motherfucking”. Sometimes 他妈的 (ta ma de) is used as well.NM: pinyin abbreviation for 你妈 (ni ma) is an internet slang that uses the latin characters for cursing, it means “your mother”

Team IS is short for “Team Imperial Sword”

For the names, if you’ve read my previous projects, you’d see that I prefer transliteration for certain words, and I also couldn’t find a more suitable name in English since its so long, so I didn’t directly translate the ID’s 🙂

Please let me know if you find some mistakes, I wrote this while being incredibly sleepy and I’m already too lazy to proofread XD Please read the novel if you enjoyed and support the author, I’m currently only halfway through the novel but I’ve been enjoying it so far.

Thanks for reading! I’ll now be going back to translating my current projects 🙂
