Chapter 85

"Amazing..." Everyone almost subconsciously praised, but in the next moment, they all felt something was wrong.

"Senior Brother Si, didn't you say that the Hell West Academy has the highest success rate? Why is it the one with the fewest students admitted?" Everyone was puzzled and confused.

"There's no contradiction here. The highest success rate is because they have the fewest students in their academy." Si Jizhao spread his hands, looking as if he hadn't deceived them: "As I said, they are the most united academy because they are united against outsiders. But before that, they always resolve their internal conflicts first, forcing internal unity. Everyone must participate in every large-scale group battle. Those who don't participate will be forced to until they do."

"So harsh!" Everyone's faces changed.

"They have strong average combat power because all the weak ones either die or can't take it and drop out!" Si Jizhao's voice unconsciously became gloomy.

"Is it that terrifying?" Everyone's faces changed again.

"This doesn't even count as anything." Si Jizhao looked disdainful: "Only those who truly enter the Hell West Academy know how terrifying it is. Do you know why it's called the Hell West Academy? Because it's a living hell. The Hell West Academy has the most names among our academies. Besides the most commonly used name, it's also called the Bandit West Academy, the Thug West Academy, the Rogue West Academy, the Desperate West Academy, the Pervert West Academy, and many more. The Hell West Academy is the most chaotic of all the academies! The Dean of the Free North Academy advocates non-action, but at least he lets a few top students manage things. But the Hell West Academy..."

Si Jizhao drew out his words, building suspense before continuing: "The Dean of the Hell West Academy not only doesn't manage the students but also encourages them to fight each other, to attack and scheme using any methods. In the Hell West Academy, anything you do isn't considered a mistake as long as you can survive and stay in the academy. No matter what means you use, you are considered excellent."

"If anything you do isn't considered a mistake, what about rape?" A voice from the crowd asked. If the voice had been particularly shrill, Lin Yiming would have thought it was Zhu Lubin, the fat guy, asking.

"You can try." Si Jizhao looked in the direction of the question: "If you want to know how powerful the Dean of the Hell West Academy is, go ahead and try. Rape is the only taboo in the Hell West Academy. Other than that, you won't be punished for anything you do. Because of this, the Hell West Academy is the most chaotic of all the academies. It also has the highest dropout rate before the final exam for the Qi Wang Academy. Many people can't take it and drop out before they graduate."

"Even in our Li Huo Academy, some people drop out for various reasons. But the Hell West Academy is different. Every year, over 80% of the new students either can't take it and leave or die. The number of old students also decreases to some extent."

Hearing this, everyone's hearts trembled. Entering the Qi Wang Academy was so difficult. How cruel must it be to make so many people leave?

Si Jizhao didn't look at the crowd's expressions and continued: "Most people either die in internal conflicts or leave. Those who can stay in the Hell West Academy are either extremely powerful, skilled in scheming, or good at surviving. In short, everyone who stays is a tough opponent. This is the Hell West Academy. Now, you should understand the five major academies, right?"

"Understood." Zhu Lubin nodded hard and then showed a flattering smile, asking: "Senior Brother, do we know which academy we've been assigned to? Is it your academy?"

"Don't you know?" Si Jizhao looked very surprised at Zhu Lubin's words.

"No, no one told us." A few people looked puzzled.

"You've been assigned to the Hell West Academy, and you didn't even know." Si Jizhao pointed to the west.

"Hell West Academy!" Zhu Lubin exclaimed, and beside him, Ouyang Aoting's face turned green. The crowd looked at the four of them with sympathy.

"Why, why are we assigned to the Hell West Academy? I should have been assigned to the Odd Central Academy, I'm a mechanism master." Zhu Lubin looked very pitiful.

"Because you offended a woman, Fat Master, your hands..." Si Jizhao remembered what the fat guy had said and his facial muscles twitched, almost laughing out loud.

Zhu Lubin was shocked, his mouth wide open: "Just her? She's just a person in charge of registration. Does she have that much power?"

"Do you think just anyone can be in charge of registration? If you have the chance in the future, you'll know how powerful that woman is. In short, coming to the West Academy is your fault for offending that woman. And the girl who came with you, she's also in the West Academy for the same reason, offending that woman." Si Jizhao sighed and shook his head.

Lin Yiming finally knew which academy he was in, but he didn't expect that his assignment to the academy was decided by Zhu Lubin's words.

"You, sigh... your mouth!" Lin Yiming raised his hand and pointed at Zhu Lubin.

"This can't be blamed on me. Who made that woman so petty? Besides, entering the Hell West Academy is a good thing. It's such a powerful academy!" Zhu Lubin tried to defend himself: "Many people would want to enter the Hell West Academy but can't."

After saying that, he suddenly changed the topic: "By the way, Senior Brother Si, can you tell us if there are any people in this academy we shouldn't provoke?"

"Fortunately. After you enter the academy, you can mention my name. Most people will give me some face." Si Jizhao looked proud, as he was the fifth-ranked expert on the Li Huo Dragon Gate List.

"Of course, there are a few people you need to be especially careful about. The first is the second-ranked expert on the Li Huo Dragon Gate List. Remember, don't provoke him, because he is ruthless and never considers the consequences. So, don't provoke that person."

"Second-ranked, what about the first-ranked?" Zhu Lubin asked with some confusion: "Does the first-ranked have a good temper?"

"Good temper?" Si Jizhao laughed: "This person is highly regarded by the Dean of the Hell West Academy and acts without any reservations. You just don't see him often. He is a legend in our academy. In fact, two years ago, he was already the top expert on the Li Huo Dragon Gate List!

Do you know why it's called the Dragon Gate List? The Dragon Gate is a metaphor for the carp leaping over the dragon gate, meaning that once you enter the Li Huo Dragon Gate List, you basically have a chance to enter the Qi Wang Academy. The top expert almost certainly will enter the Qi Wang Academy. But he has stayed in the academy.

Actually, he also wants to enter the main academy, but his temper keeps him here. I don't know what happened the first year, but I know exactly what happened last time."

Si Jizhao's expression turned serious: "Last time, he went to the main academy for the exam, which wasn't held at our academy. I can't tell you the exact location, but it gathered students from all the Qi Wang Academy's selection academies. Before the exam started, he had a verbal conflict with a student from another academy.

It wasn't a big deal, but who knew they were both fearless. They started arguing and then fighting. The other student wasn't simple either; he was the top expert of another academy and the son of a general!

They had a fierce battle, and in the end, our academy's expert severely injured the opponent and won. But he himself was also in bad shape. He was in no condition to take the exam. But he insisted on continuing. Before he could, he was kicked out by the main academy for breaking the rules. The rule is that no one can fight before the exam.

Breaking the academy's rules, anyone, regardless of status, even a prince, must be punished. So, he returned to our academy."

Si Jizhao finished, full of sighs: "Although he hasn't acted in a long time and hasn't entered the main academy, we all believe that if he enters, he will be an outstanding presence. However, you don't need to pay too much attention to him. He rarely shows up. Instead, you need to be careful of another person on the Li Huo Dragon Gate List, the tenth-ranked expert."

"What? Only tenth! Senior Brother Si, you are the fifth-ranked expert. If we mention your name, will he still dare to act?" Zhu Lubin was very confused.

"He might not act on the spot, but he will definitely take revenge later." Si Jizhao's face showed a hint of headache: "This person has a nickname, Viper. It means that once he targets you, it's like being targeted by a venomous snake. He will strike you at an unexpected time and place. When facing someone weaker than him, he always sends his subordinates or acts personally. When facing someone stronger, he waits.

Once, the seventh-ranked expert on the Li Huo Dragon Gate List publicly defeated and humiliated the Viper. Afterward, the Viper didn't take revenge. We all thought the Viper had let it go, but who would have thought that just before the seventh-ranked expert was about to take the main academy exam, the Viper struck. The Viper attacked him, risking severe injury to himself, and severely injured the expert. Although the Viper was more injured, it didn't affect him; he just needed to recover. But the other person had to take the exam.

It was the other person's last year, and because of the Viper, he missed the exam due to his injuries. Afterward, because he exceeded the age limit, the seventh-ranked expert left the academy. Since then, everyone has known how difficult the Viper is to deal with. So, you must be careful with this person."
