Chapter 94

"Alright, I get it. You always eliminate people to get more Fundamental Strengthening Pills, right?" Zhu Lubin increasingly felt that the academy he had entered was not normal. This place was more like a gathering of villains than an academy.

"That's just a small part of the reason," Zhang Youpeng chuckled and said, "At first, everyone eliminated each other to get the Fundamental Strengthening Pills. Later, it gradually became a habit, a part of our lives. As for the Fundamental Strengthening Pills, there are still other ways to obtain them."

Zhang Youpeng raised his hand and pointed to a room on the side, explaining, "For example, by guarding the test here, the more times you guard, the more Fundamental Strengthening Pills you can get as a reward from the academy. Besides, completing many tasks for the academy and helping the teachers can also earn you Fundamental Strengthening Pills. Additionally, as long as you enter various rankings, you can also get Fundamental Strengthening Pills.

For instance, in the Martial Spirit Heart Ranking, if you can make it to the 100th place, you will get one Fundamental Strengthening Pill every month. If you are 99th, you get two, and so on. For every rank you improve, you get one more Fundamental Strengthening Pill each month. Once you become the top of any ranking, you will receive an additional 50 Fundamental Strengthening Pills every month.

As for the Blood Essence Ranking, Iron Bone Ranking, Tyrant Body Ranking, and the Departing Fire Dragon Ranking, the number of Fundamental Strengthening Pills you get is double, triple, quadruple, and quintuple, respectively, compared to the Martial Spirit Heart Ranking."

Lin Yiming was deeply moved by this. The Departing Fire Academy clearly placed great importance on these five rankings, or rather, on the strong individuals within the academy. In ordinary academies, it takes three months to get one Fundamental Strengthening Pill, but once you enter the rankings, you can get one every month, and the higher you go, the more you get.

This clearly encourages everyone to strive for the rankings!

In his previous life, the school he attended also treated students differently, encouraging those with special talents or good academic performance. Even in this life, the Shuiyao Gate he entered did the same.

However, compared to the Departing Fire Academy, their differential treatment was negligible.

However, he had five chances, and he needed to cherish them, not using them carelessly.

Lin Yiming couldn't decide which ranking to challenge for the moment. Beside him, Zhu Lubin called out again.

"Great, there are rewards! I'm definitely going to challenge the rankings. I'll go right now." Zhu Lubin shouted loudly and quickly rushed to the registration test area.

The registration room was spacious, but inside, apart from a table and writing materials, there were only two doors on either side, with nothing else.

Zhu Lubin rushed into the room, immediately putting on a smile and said to the man sitting behind the table, "Senior Brother, I just entered the academy today. I want to participate in the Martial Spirit Heart Ranking test."

As soon as Zhu Lubin finished speaking, a stern voice came from the side, "Kid, if you want to test, you should also follow the order. Are you blind? Can't you see all these people here?"

Zhu Lubin then noticed that on his side, there were three men. From their words, it was clear that these three were also there to take the test. On their left chest, there was a label that read "Qixue."

The three men glanced at Zhu Lubin and immediately showed a look of disdain. The man who spoke first sneered, "Just entered the academy and you want to take the test? I thought you were something great, but you're just a lowly first-level Martial Spirit Heart."

"Ha ha, a first-level comes to test? Kid, which academy are you from, to be this foolish?" The three men laughed loudly.

"He is from our academy. Are you saying that the people from our academy are foolish?" Zhang Youpeng led Lin Yiming and the others into the room.

The room, which had been spacious, suddenly felt crowded with the arrival of Lin Yiming and the others.

"Which academy are you from?" The three men asked instinctively, then turned around and saw Zhang Youpeng's bald head. Their eyes immediately narrowed. Only the madmen from the Hellfire West Academy could have such a strange hairstyle.

Their eyes scanned Zhang Youpeng's body and found no special marks on his clothes, causing their entire bodies to tremble slightly.

As Zhang Youpeng entered the room, the atmosphere became oppressive.

"Are you the ones who were talking about our academy? You have some nerve to bully people from the Hellfire West Academy." Zhang Youpeng took a step towards the three men.

"No, no, we didn't mean that."

"Yes, we absolutely didn't mean that. Ah, I remember, we have something to do, we'll go first."

"Yes, we'll go first."

The three men didn't care about the test anymore and hurriedly ran out of the room. Today was really unlucky. If it were people from other academies, they would have given some face to the Qixue Middle Academy. After all, no matter which academy, they would eventually have to deal with the Qixue Middle Academy. But encountering people from the Hellfire West Academy, who were all madmen, they couldn't afford to provoke them.

"Those three people, are they from the Qixue Middle Academy?" Zhu Lubin pointed to his chest and said, "I saw 'Qixue' on their chests."

"Yes, they are from the Qixue Middle Academy. Not just the Qixue Middle Academy, but each academy has its own symbol on their clothes. For example, the Iron Blood East Academy writes 'Iron Blood' on both shoulders. The Free North Academy writes 'Free' on their waistbands. The Sage South Academy writes 'Sage' on their collars."

Zhang Youpeng pointed to himself and said, "As for us from the Hellfire West Academy, we don't bother to write any words on our clothes to show our identity. So in the academy, if you encounter someone with no words on their clothes, they are either from the Hellfire West Academy, a new student, or a high-ranking expert on the Departing Fire Dragon Ranking."

"Is that so." Zhu Lubin nodded, realizing that joining the Hellfire West Academy had its benefits. At least, he wouldn't be bullied by people from other academies.

After the three Qixue Middle Academy people interrupted, Zhu Lubin finally registered.

"Student, which level of the test do you want to take?" The man smiled and asked Zhu Lubin, his attitude completely changed upon learning that Zhu Lubin was from the Hellfire West Academy.

"I just arrived, so I'll start from the lowest level, 91 to 100."

"Alright, just go through that door on the left." The man in charge of registration pointed to the left door and then pressed a button on the wall behind him.

It was then that Lin Yiming noticed that there were several protrusions on the wall behind the man, each with a number. The one the man pressed was labeled "91 to 100."

"Wait a moment..."
