Chapter 33: Identify drug properties

Seeing that he really didn't understand, the old man shook his head, and

looked over in confusion: "Pharmaceutical collection is the simplest part of

refining medicine. According to the truth, as long as you study, you won't

make this kind of mistake. I don't know who is the teacher of the little

friend? Didn't tell these things?"

"Teacher?" Su Yin scratched his head: "It's a little-known person!"

He was called Li Shiyue who taught him the pharmacological remnants. The name

on the tombstone was "Yaosheng". It was strange at the time. I asked "Cheap

Brother" and checked a lot of information. There is no one with this name in

the whole mainland. , And there is no such thing as the title and profession

of Medicine Saint... So, don't even think about it and know that it is the

descendant of the monument, written in order to compliment Hu.

Besides, if it is really a saint of medicine, would it not teach alchemy?

Don’t teach the cure to save lives, but only teach the cure for sows? In his

opinion, even if this guy is proficient in pharmacology, he is at best a

veterinarian. It is better not to say it as shameful.

"That's right, a well-known pharmacist who asks his younger generation to pick

medicine, how could he not explain the rules!"

shook his head, the old man put his hands behind him, with a taste of

teaching: "Since you don't understand, I will tell you!"

"Yes!" Su Yin nodded, with a humbly expression on his face.

Seeing his appearance, the old man was very satisfied. He wore his beard and

said: "Cold Yang grass, whose roots grow in a cold place, but the flowers live

in the blazing sun. A medicinal plant combines the two attributes of yin and

yang. So I picked it. You must pay attention to it, otherwise, once the roots

leave the soil and the cold air has no source, the yang attribute will take

the upper hand, and the two will be neutralized, which will lead to a sharp

drop in the medicinal properties!"

Su Yin was suddenly puzzled: "Since the two powers of cold and heat will blend

when the roots are off the ground, when picking, just think of a way to block

it?"

"Ignorance!"

The old man flicked his sleeves, and the old man looked unhappy: "The

medicinal properties of medicinal materials are ever-changing, and the age,

sunshine, nutrition, moisture... can all affect them, blocking the

communication between yin and yang. There is no problem in speaking, but I ask

you, the medicinal properties How to clearly find the dividing line and make

the best interruption if the medicine is hidden deep inside, without picking

it down? You must know that once it is unsuccessful, it is equivalent to

ruining a medicinal material and giving up all previous efforts!"

"This..." Su Yin was stunned.

The two attributes of Yin and Yang are so obvious that even if they are hidden

inside the medicinal materials, they should be easy to distinguish!

With this method, he can be 100% correct in the first assessment without a

single error. How can it be difficult to listen to the other party?

"The correct way is to wait here until noon, when the yang energy is strongest

and the yin energy is weakest, use a red string to tie the medicinal material

to the sun and shadow boundary line, and when the yang energy is weakest, it

is at the red string. Cut it off!"

The old man said: "In this way, the two attributes of yin and yang will not

blend, and it is better to retain the two attributes!"

"It's troublesome!" Unexpectedly, picking a medicinal plant would have to wait

a full 6 hours. Su Yin shook his head and asked: "If you can find the

intersection of Yin and Yang, block it, and just pick it directly, is it

okay?"

"The theory is so, but... it's too difficult!" The old man shook his head:

"The medicinal materials as a whole, the two properties of Yin and Yang are

connected, how can they be found without cutting it! And once it is cut, it

will destroy it. The medicinal properties of the drug have fallen short..."

"Not so exaggerated!"

shook his head, Su Yin took a deep breath and sniffed: "The intersection of

yin and yang of this grass is right here..."

, he stretched his fingers over, squeezed it gently, and pulled the cold sun

grass.

"you……"

I didn't expect to have said so much. This young man still collected the

medicine directly. The old man's face flushed red, and he was about to scold

him for a few words. Suddenly his pupils contracted and he couldn't believe

it.

"how can that be?"

Cold sun grass, once the yin and yang meet, the flowers will immediately lose

their bright colors. The red spots will turn to gray, and the white spots will

be slightly dim... This boy, who didn't even look at it, picked it casually.

He thought that the flowers would immediately decay. , I didn't even think

about it in my dreams, still extremely bright, no different from growing on

the ground!

That is to say... not only did he find the right place where the yin and yang

blended, he really blocked it!

How did you do it?

Even if he had been immersed in medicine for hundreds of years, he couldn't

finish it!

"It's very simple..." Seeing him making a fuss, Su Yin shook his head.

"Easy?"

With blue veins jumping on his forehead, the old man hurriedly put down his

back basket, turned it over, and took out a green medicinal plant: "In this

medicinal plant, there is a medicine that soothes the nerves. Can you find it

out? ?"

"This is a calming grass, if you cut this leaf from here, you can retain 70%

of the medicinal properties of the whole plant!"

Su Yin casually drew a range on the leaf.

Believing in doubt, the old man took out the blade and cut the leaf according

to the direction the other party had told him, then chewed it in his mouth,

his face immediately turned pale.

Not bad!

The medicinal properties of medicinal materials are unevenly distributed along

with the growth of plants, just like the human body, fat and muscle content

are equally uneven.

Because of this, when alchemy, even if you know that the slightest deviation

in the composition of the medicinal properties will affect the quality of the

medicinal pill,...no one can be sure, which location of a medicinal material

has more medicinal properties, and the amount contained How many.

cannot be 100% accurate.

But... the young man in front of him casually said the place where the

medicinal properties of this calming grass were concentrated, and even the

number was not bad...

This is a bit scary! Seeing it with my own eyes, UU reading www.uukanshu.com

can't believe it.

"Where is this strain?"

Strongly holding back the excitement, and took out a few more medicinal

plants, Su Yin sniffed lightly, and quickly elaborated on the medicinal

properties of the medicine, where it was distributed, and how much it

accounted for.

Chop all the medicinal materials that the other party said, and chew them

carefully...The old man soon discovered that he was just as good as the other

party!

In other words, the boy only glanced at it...without destroying the medicinal

material itself, he could easily distinguish the strength and distribution of

the medicine!

"You..." Can't help it anymore, the old man looked over with a trembling: "You

are naturally close to medicinal materials? Can you feel the distribution of

medicinal properties?"

Legend has it that some people are naturally sensitive to medicinal materials,

and they can easily distinguish the properties of medicinal materials that

others can’t tell. This one in front of me, wouldn’t he have this kind of

talent?

"of course not……"

Unexpectedly he would think this way, Su Yin shook his head: "There is no free

lunch in the world. How can there be the ability to get it in vain without

hard work? I couldn't tell at the beginning. It took hard work to achieve it.

this point."

"Work hard? That's right! No matter how talented you are, you definitely need

to learn."

His expression condensed, and the old man nodded, with curiosity in his eyes:

"Looking at your young age, how long did it take from the beginning of

learning to easily distinguishing the distribution of medicinal

properties...?"

"My talent is average..." After recalling it, Su Yin's face showed bitterness:

"About ten days!"

"Ten days?"

The old man froze in place.

Are you sure you are right, not ten years?
