Chapter 50

After Zhong Yuan finished speaking, Xiong Meiqi continued, "That's right, Father, we must kill him. Moreover, not only should we kill his three guards, but also deal with this kind of scum who relies on family power to cause trouble in the academy!" As she said this, she pointed at Huang Xiaolong, "He should also be detained, and his family head should come personally to take him back, then publicly apologize to our academy!"

Huang Xiaolong listened and sneered, but did not speak. He wanted to see what Xiong Meiqi's father would say.

Xiong Chu listened to his daughter and Zhong Yuan, then calmly looked at Huang Xiaolong and the four others. Suddenly, he said to his daughter, "Bring me that letter of recommendation."

Xiong Meiqi was taken aback but still took out the letter of recommendation Huang Xiaolong had given her as instructed.

Xiong Chu took the letter of recommendation and, upon seeing a small mark at the bottom corner, his eyes narrowed. Indeed! This letter of recommendation was sent by the Dean!

Every year, there were ten special admission slots, usually handled by him, Xiong Chu. However, this time, there was one exception. A few days ago, the Dean, who usually did not care about this matter, personally asked for one slot.

And this letter of recommendation was personally sent by the Dean.

Xiong Chu frowned. Since it was a letter of recommendation personally sent by the Dean, he could not handle it easily. Only the Dean had the authority to deal with this waste of a person who came to register with the Dean's letter of recommendation.

Xiong Chu put away the letter of recommendation, thought for a moment, and said to Huang Xiaolong, "Young man, as long as you and your three guards apologize, I can overlook this matter."

Overlook this matter!

Everyone was stunned, unable to believe it.

A teacher of the Star Academy was severely injured, and it would just be an apology?!

"Father, you!" Xiong Meiqi was anxious and about to speak, but Xiong Chu raised his hand and said, "That's enough, don't say more."

Xiong Meiqi's throat tightened, then she glared at Huang Xiaolong with hatred.

Just as everyone thought Huang Xiaolong would apologize, he suddenly said, "Why should we apologize? They should apologize to me!" As he said this, he pointed at Zhong Yuan and Xiong Meiqi.

"What?!" Everyone was shocked, looking at Huang Xiaolong in disbelief. Was this kid crazy?! Did he not understand what Deputy Dean Xiong Chu said?

"What did you say? You want us to apologize to you?!" Xiong Meiqi was almost bursting with anger. Her father had only asked the other party to apologize, which already made her extremely unhappy. Now, the other party was demanding an apology just like before!

"Father, you saw it yourself, this waste of a person doesn't take our Star Academy seriously!" Xiong Meiqi turned to Xiong Chu and said.

Xiong Chu looked at Huang Xiaolong, his face darkening. This waste of a person, who relied on family power to get the Dean's letter of recommendation, was too arrogant. He had already shown great leniency by only asking for an apology, but the other party still dared to push for more!

At this moment, Huang Xiaolong looked at Xiong Meiqi and sneered, "You keep calling me a waste of a person and saying we caused trouble. If that's the case, bring the square image recording sphere over so everyone can see how we caused trouble!"

The image recording sphere was a device for recording and displaying images. The Star Academy's square definitely had such a device.

Xiong Chu's face turned cold, "Go, bring the square image recording sphere over."

"Yes, Deputy Dean!" A teacher respectfully responded and quickly left, returning soon with a crystal-like sphere in his hand.

"Activate the recording sphere!" Xiong Chu said.

The teacher then channeled his martial qi into the recording sphere, and soon, images began to project into the air, showing the sequence of events that had occurred.

First, Xiong Meiqi threw Huang Xiaolong's student card to the ground. Then, Zhong Yuan and the three others came over and demanded that Huang Xiaolong apologize. Zhong Yuan then attacked Huang Xiaolong, and finally, Fei Hou severely injured Zhong Yuan.

Xiong Meiqi and Zhong Yuan watched the images projected by the recording sphere, their faces growing increasingly grim.

The surrounding family disciples who had come to register now understood what had happened and began to murmur among themselves.

Xiong Chu watched the images, his face darkening.

After the images finished, Huang Xiaolong said coldly, "We didn't cause trouble, but you keep saying we did. He tried to kill me, and my guards retaliated. Is this considered causing trouble? Do I have to stand here and let him kill me to not be considered causing trouble?" He pointed at Zhong Yuan.

Zhong Yuan stammered, unable to respond, both angry and resentful.

Huang Xiaolong looked at Xiong Chu and said, "Everything is clear now. Since we didn't cause trouble, I want to ask, why should we apologize to them? Just because they are teachers in your academy?"

Xiong Chu was silent.

"Father!" At this moment, Xiong Meiqi was about to speak in defense, but Xiong Chu suddenly shouted, "Enough!" After shouting, he turned to Huang Xiaolong and said, "Young man, here's what I'll do. All your registration fees for this year will be waived! This matter ends here!"

All registration fees waived!

Everyone was stunned, all looking at Huang Xiaolong.

Severely injuring a teacher in the academy, not only was he not punished, but his registration fees were waived!

Huang Xiaolong and Xiong Chu looked at each other, and Huang Xiaolong slowly nodded. Then he said to Fei Hou and the others, "Let's go!" and left with Fei Hou and the three others.

Everyone watched Huang Xiaolong leave, their expressions varied.

Xiong Chu did not speak, and in a flash, he left the square. The surrounding crowd slowly dispersed.

In the Star Academy's council hall.

Xiong Chu sat there, his body emitting a faint starlight, making the hall extremely oppressive.

Xiong Meiqi and Zhong Yuan stood behind him for a long time, not daring to speak.

"That kid's letter of recommendation was sent by the Dean," Xiong Chu suddenly said after a long while.

Xiong Meiqi and Zhong Yuan were taken aback. Sent by the Dean! This!

"Alright, both of you leave," Xiong Chu continued.

Xiong Meiqi was about to speak, but Zhong Yuan pulled her sleeve, stopping her with a look, then bowed and left the council hall.

After leaving the Star Academy, Huang Xiaolong did not return directly to the Marshal's residence but went to the Tianxuan Manor. After arriving at the Tianxuan Manor, Huang Xiaolong took a tour. After two days of cleaning, the weeds and debris in the courtyard had been completely removed, and the rooms were dust-free.

Huang Xiaolong called over the sixteen兽人 Bo Li and briefly asked about the situation at the Tianxuan Manor over the past two days. After asking, Huang Xiaolong gave Bo Li some gold coins to buy furniture and some flowers and plants to decorate the manor.

Huang Xiaolong planned to move into the Tianxuan Manor after entering the Star Academy to live and practice. The Tianxuan Manor was close to the Star Academy, and students were not required to live in the academy dormitories.

After doing all this, Huang Xiaolong returned to the Marshal's residence with Fei Hou and the others.

"What?! A teacher from the Star Academy actually dared to attack the young master?!" The two guards reported the incident at the academy to Marshal Haotian upon returning to the Marshal's residence. After hearing the report, Marshal Haotian roared in anger, the shockwave causing the entire Marshal's residence to tremble.
