In the midst of a vast abyss, half enveloped by a sea of clouds, a large tree clung to the waist of a cliff.

On the tree, a path led through, bustling with people like ants.

Some hurried, flying towards the branches that extended over the vast sea of clouds, landing on leaves as large as boats.

Others were unhurried, walking slowly on foot.

A man in a leather coat, with disheveled long hair hanging over his shoulders, a stubbled face, and a calm gaze, limped in his leather boots through the tree hollow, looking somewhat destitute.

Emerging from a secluded tree hollow, the bright light outside was blinding.

Outside the tree hollow stood five people. The man's gaze fell upon them, all dressed in black cloaks that covered their heads and faces.

One by one, they raised their heads, their eyes under the brims of their hats fixed on the man.

The destitute man paid no attention and limped past the five.

A slender hand emerged from the black cloak, fingers as white as jade, nails painted a bright red, a very beautiful hand.

It was a woman's hand, grabbing the man's arm and stopping him.

The destitute man had no choice but to stop, his voice calm yet firm, "Let go."

Under the raised brim, a delicate and beautiful woman's face was revealed, with silver chain earrings hanging to her collarbone, her eyes filled with complex emotions. She called out softly and hesitantly, "Your Highness!"

The destitute man suddenly swung his arm, shaking off her hand, and continued limping forward.

The wind blew, and the five people in black cloaks stood silently, watching the destitute man disappear around the bend of the tree trunk...

On a cluster of branches floating on the sea of clouds, thousands of people stood on leaves as large as boats.

The destitute man arrived, took out his ticket and identity proof, and handed them to the guards of the Immortal Court for verification.

After confirming the ticket and identity were correct, the destitute man passed through and joined the thousands of others, waiting like the rest.

Among those who arrived later, someone muttered, "They even check identity proofs, it's so strict now."

Another person looked at the distant, half-ruined capital of the Immortal Realm and sighed, "With such a big incident, how could the checks not be strict?"

This remark caused many to sigh and shake their heads, and the conversation soon turned to the recent upheaval in the capital of the Immortal Realm, where the remnants of the previous dynasty, led by the Thirteen Heavenly Demons, had launched a sudden attack.

"That's outrageous, to dare attack the Immortal Capital."

"Fortunately, Second Lord is here. He is truly the first war god of the Immortal Court. The Thirteen Heavenly Demons, united, were utterly defeated by him alone."

"Did you see the battle? The one called 'Overlord' among the Thirteen Heavenly Demons fought Second Lord in a battle that shook the heavens and earth, making people sweat for Second Lord."

"Just a moment of outrageousness, they still fell to Second Lord."

"I heard that Second Lord killed eight of the Thirteen Heavenly Demons, captured two, and three escaped?"

"Given the state of the battle, with the demons rampant, who would dare to stick their head out to watch? Without seeing the broadcast, it's hard to know if it's true."

"If three really did escape, those demon leaders won't let it go easily."

The murmurs gradually ceased, and people who had been sitting stood up. The passage official, holding a jade token, appeared, signaling that the wait was over and it was time to depart.

The passage official stood on the branch, suddenly crushing the jade token, a beam of light flashed, and vanished into the void.

Soon, a deep "moo" sound, like a cow but much louder, echoed from the void.

Ripples spread through the void, and a massive creature emerged from the center, flapping its huge fins like a whale, known as a Kun.

To the people, the Kun was both common and rare.

Common because the Kun was a long-distance transport in the Immortal Realm, rare because the Kun lived in the Netherworld, in a place called the Northern Abyss, a sea in the Netherworld, and only appeared when summoned by the Immortal Court.

Most people in the Immortal Realm had never been to the Netherworld and found it difficult to go there without permission.

The Immortal Court had a certain agreement with the Kun clan, and the Kun required the willpower of the masses, leading to this situation.

The Immortal Court would not force the Kun to serve as a transport, only if the willpower provided was satisfactory to the Kun clan would they agree.

The Kun was chosen as a transport because of its fast flying speed, with few in the realms that could catch up, providing a certain level of safety.

The Kun originally had the innate ability to traverse the realms, but after the gods established the Immortal Realm, they isolated the absolute strong and weak among the masses, guarding the passages between the realms, and confined the Kun to the Northern Abyss.

Long, long ago, when the realms were interconnected, the Immortal Realm had an ancient name: the Primordial Chaos!

The Kun floated before the extended branch, opening its massive mouth.

The passage official maintained order, organizing the people who had bought tickets to enter the Kun's mouth.

The interior of the Kun was transparent, seemingly solid, but if one looked closely, they could see the outside clearly.

"Those going to Fubo City, sit over there, those going to Buque City, sit over there..."

The passage official's subordinates, holding ticket lists, continuously called out to the crowd.

The man in the leather coat remained silent, following the instructions and sitting in a corner.

There were no designated seats; one could find a bumpy spot to sit or stand if they preferred.

Dozens of people sat in this area, and a woman with bright eyes sat next to the destitute man. Sensing something intriguing about him, she introduced herself, "Hello, I'm Julie. Are you also going to Buque City?"

The destitute man glanced at her indifferently, slowly leaned his head against the wall, closed his eyes, and pretended to sleep, remaining silent.

Feeling rebuffed, Julie shrugged.

Beside her, a man chuckled and introduced himself, "Hello, I'm Luo Kang'an. I'm also going to Buque City."

...

Outside Buque City, on a flat area by a cliff, a group of people gathered, all there to greet someone.

Three silver cars drove out of the city and parked on one side, drawing the attention of the waiting crowd.

Someone pointed at the cars and whispered to a companion, "See that? Do you know whose cars those are?"

"Whose?"

"The head of the Qin Family Chamber of Commerce."

"The female tycoon Qin Yi?"

"Yes, I've seen her car before. She should be in one of those."

"Tsk, tsk, why is she here? The richest woman in Buque City, young and beautiful, I wonder who she'll end up with."

"She won't end up with you, so wipe that drool. If she's here to greet someone, it must be a distinguished guest on this 'ship.'"

At that moment, several black cars arrived, causing another stir.

In one of the silver cars, a woman in a high-slit dress, one long, white leg exposed, crossed over the other, her face cold and beautiful, her lips painted a bright red, a cigarette in her mouth, leaned against the window, lost in thought, her demeanor unique.

This woman was Qin Yi, the richest woman in Buque City and the head of the Qin Family Chamber of Commerce.

The assistant in the passenger seat, Bai Linglong, turned around, noticing the black cars, and reminded her, "President, Lord Luo has arrived."

"Hmm?" Qin Yi, holding a cigarette, came to her senses and looked out the window, slightly surprised, "Why is he here?"

Bai Linglong, "If he's here and personally greeting someone, it must be a distinguished guest."

Qin Yi was puzzled, "If it's someone he would personally greet, they could use the teleportation array controlled by the Immortal Court. Why come here?"

Bai Linglong was also confused and suggested again, "President, should we go and greet him?"

Indeed, it was necessary to greet him; otherwise, it would be inappropriate, as the entire Buque City was under his jurisdiction, and the Qin Family Chamber of Commerce was under his control.

Qin Yi immediately stubbed out her cigarette but hesitated when she put down her crossed leg, unable to cover her exposed thigh.

Bai Linglong understood her concern. The old city lord was conservative, and her flashy appearance might be off-putting to him. She looked at her own clothes, realizing they wouldn't fit, and said, "President, wait a moment, I'll find you something to change into."

Qin Yi took a deep breath and decided, "There's no time. It would be too impolite to delay." She draped a scarf over her shoulders, opened the car door, and stepped out, her white, slender legs and red high heels visible.

The people in the three cars immediately got out and followed her.

As soon as she appeared, many men's eyes were drawn to her, admiring her graceful figure and charming demeanor.

Bai Linglong ran ahead and informed the guards by the black cars.

Shortly after, a car door opened, and an old man with white hair, dressed in an ancient-style robe, and a slightly hunched back, stepped out. He was Lord Luo Tianhe, the city lord of Buque City.

He raised his hand, and the guards let Qin Yi approach.

Qin Yi quickly approached, bowed, and said, "City Lord."

Luo Tianhe looked her up and down, frowning at her exposed thigh from the high slit in her dress. He then noticed her wavy hair, bright red lips, and high heels, his face showing disapproval. He asked coldly, "Is this another new trend from the human world?"

Qin Yi felt awkward, knowing the old man disapproved. She straightened up and replied, "It's not a new trend, it's been around for a while. I don't usually dress like this, just occasionally for a change."

"A change?" Luo Tianhe, hands behind his back, looked up at the sky and muttered, "People are no longer as they used to be!"

Qin Yi subconsciously glanced at the city lord's cars, not saying anything but her eyes conveying a deep meaning, as if to say, "You're not much better."

Luo Tianhe seemed to understand her thoughts and changed the subject, "Who is it that has our richest woman in Buque City personally greeting them?"

Qin Yi respectfully replied, "Luo Kang'an."

"Luo Kang'an?" Luo Tianhe thought for a moment, not recognizing the name, and asked, "Who is he?"
