Yingzi listened to Tao Ge's account, her mind racing as she pieced together the fragmented information. She had a rough idea of what had happened and felt a surge of excitement. She never expected that a routine patrol in a police car would lead her to stumble upon a major case. Then she heard Lin Fan's incomprehensible words.

In the villa, the three bodies were still warm.

Lin Fan shook his head and said, "Officer Ying, don't be angry. I'll entrust my daughter and my dog to you for a while. I have some business to attend to and will be at the police station in two hours. Thank you."
