This guy actually has a gun, it seems he's a tough one!
Knowing that China has very strict gun control, Chen Dasheng felt a bit wary as he looked at the gun on the table. Although he had inherited the power of the Juling clan and had become very strong, compared to a gun, his strength was useless.
Seeing the wariness on Chen Dasheng's face, He Liang's face showed a hint of satisfaction. "What do you think? Do you still want to call the police? Don't say I didn't warn you, your friend is also involved in the gambling. If the police come, your friend won't be off the hook either!"
Chen Dasheng turned and saw Guo Hui frantically waving his hands, his face full of pleading, unsure if he was afraid of the police or the gun in He Liang's hand.
"How much does he owe you?" Chen Dasheng asked helplessly. He Liang was right; if he called the police, Guo Hui would definitely be implicated, and his life would be ruined.
He Liang smiled slightly and turned to look at Guo Hui. "You ask him yourself!"
Chen Dasheng looked at Guo Hui, who gave a dry laugh and sheepishly held up five fingers!
"Five yuan? I'll give you ten, no need for change!" Chen Dasheng knew it was definitely a significant amount, and he didn't have the money, so he pretended to be clueless and reached into his pocket.
"Kid, are you messing with us? It's fifty thousand, fifty thousand, got it?" Black-clad Ah Biao almost choked with anger at Chen Dasheng's words, slamming his hand on the table and shouting at Chen Dasheng.
"Can you lower your voice? I'm not deaf!" Chen Dasheng rubbed his ear, glared at Black-clad Ah Biao, and said directly to He Liang, "I can give you five yuan, but fifty thousand, hah, I can't do that!"
"What, you don't have money? Brother Sheng, you're going to kill me!" Guo Hui's face turned grim when he heard Chen Dasheng didn't have money.
Chen Dasheng shrugged. "You didn't tell me how much you owed, and fifty thousand is a lot. Do you think I'm a god of wealth? Where am I supposed to find that much money?"
He Liang looked at the ten yuan in Chen Dasheng's hand, his face twitched, and he forced a smile. "Good kid, you're playing with me. It seems you're taking my words as a joke. Ah Biao, cut off one of his fingers."
Ah Biao grinned, grabbed Guo Hui's hand, and pressed it to the table, pulling out a fruit knife from the table.
"Ah, Brother Liang, spare me! Dasheng, Dasheng, save me!" Guo Hui struggled and screamed in terror at the shiny knife.
"Wait!" Chen Dasheng hurriedly called out.
"What? You willing to pay now?" He Liang asked mockingly.
Chen Dasheng said, "Money, I don't have, but I've heard you're a famous mahjong player. If you're willing, I'd like to bet with you."
"Huh? Bet with me?" He Liang seemed to have heard the funniest joke in the world, looking at Chen Dasheng with a mocking eye. "Too bad, you want to bet with me, but I'm not interested!"
"A poor guy like you wants to bet with Brother Liang? What do you have? Just the ten yuan in your hand?" White-clad Ah Hu mocked Chen Dasheng directly.
Chen Dasheng smiled without changing his expression, ignoring the two henchmen, and looked straight at the bald He Liang. "Yes, just the ten yuan in my hand. Let's see if Brother Liang dares to bet with me!"
"Ha ha!" He Liang laughed heartily, looking at Chen Dasheng meaningfully. "I have to admit, your provocation works on me, but betting with me, He Liang, with just ten yuan, you're insulting me!"
Chen Dasheng smiled slightly. "I only have ten yuan, the change from the taxi fare. If you think it's not enough, how about this..."
He turned and pointed behind him. "I'll add her!"
"Huh?"
He Liang followed Chen Dasheng's finger and saw a well-dressed beauty who was about to leave.
Seeing Chen Dasheng's finger pointing at her, Liu Yunshi was almost furious. She had noticed the tense atmosphere and that He Liang had pulled out a gun, knowing these people were dangerous. She was about to leave when Chen Dasheng tried to drag her into the mess.
Liu Yunshi glared at Chen Dasheng, but he ignored her, a sly look in his eyes. He was taking the opportunity to get back at her.
"I, I don't know him!" Seeing He Liang looking at her, Liu Yunshi awkwardly smiled and tried to look innocent, quickly standing up with her bag to leave.
He Liang signaled to Ah Hu, who darted out and blocked Liu Yunshi's path like a wall.
"What, what do you want?" Liu Yunshi was scared, her voice trembling. She hated Chen Dasheng and regretted coming to see him humiliated. These people had guns.
"Beauty, stay a while longer!" Liu Yunshi was the only customer in the teahouse, sitting opposite them, which had already made He Liang suspicious.
As soon as He Liang spoke, Ah Hu pushed Liu Yunshi back into her seat. Liu Yunshi had never seen such a scene and was almost in tears.
"Who is this beauty to you?" He Liang asked Chen Dasheng.
Chen Dasheng smiled. "She's my woman. How about it, should be worth ten or twenty thousand, right?"
"I don't know him, you, you're breaking the law!" Liu Yunshi quickly protested.
"Breaking the law? Ha ha!" He Liang chuckled. "She says she doesn't know you!"
Before Chen Dasheng could respond, Guo Hui, with a sob, said, "Sister Shi, please, save me!"
His hand was still being held down by Black-clad Ah Biao, and the knife was ready to cut. Guo Hui wouldn't let go of this chance to save himself.
Chen Dasheng shrugged, a mischievous smile on his face as he looked at the pale Liu Yunshi. "Wife, my friend is in trouble, bear with it for a bit!"
"Chen Dasheng, you bastard, are you even a man?" Liu Yunshi was furious. If looks could kill, Chen Dasheng would have been torn to pieces.
"Ha ha, seems you really know each other!" Hearing Liu Yunshi call Chen Dasheng's name, He Liang's face showed a wicked smile. "Beauty, sorry, but blame yourself for bad judgment. In the future, be more careful. Even a dog is better than a man who uses his wife as a bet."
Liu Yunshi knew Chen Dasheng was maliciously getting back at her, and she hated him. Chen Dasheng, however, was secretly delighted.
"Name your price, how much is she worth?" Chen Dasheng asked He Liang.
He Liang sized up Liu Yunshi. "Not bad, a rare beauty. Let's say one hundred thousand!"
"What, a hundred thousand for this lady?" Liu Yunshi burst out in strong dissatisfaction, but when He Liang made a move to draw his gun again, she immediately shut up.
Chen Dasheng's lips curved into a smile as he walked to Guo Hui's side, who quickly made room for him.
"Didn't expect her to be worth a hundred thousand!" Chen Dasheng sat down, looked at the angry Liu Yunshi, and smiled mockingly. This beautiful woman had charmed many, but Chen Dasheng knew she had a man's heart.
"Damn bastard, you're going to die, and you're dragging me down with you!" Liu Yunshi cursed Chen Dasheng in her heart, wishing her eyes could turn into a thousand arrows to pierce him.
Chen Dasheng ignored Liu Yunshi's murderous glare and turned to He Liang with a forced smile. "Now, I have a hundred thousand. According to the rules, you need the same amount. Otherwise, if you lose and can't pay, I'll have nowhere to cry."
"Kid, you're really arrogant. Do you know Brother Liang's reputation? You actually want to win his money? Go home and raise your pillow higher," Ah Biao scolded.
He Liang's mole twitched, and he smiled, then took out a wallet and a bank card. "Ah Biao, go get two hundred thousand!"
"Uh!"
Ah Biao hesitated but quickly obeyed, taking the card and running out.
---
It took some time to get the money. Liu Yunshi walked to Chen Dasheng's side and pinched his back with all her strength.
"Ouch!" Chen Dasheng winced and glared at Liu Yunshi. "What are you doing?"
"You bastard, you're going to get me killed!" Liu Yunshi fumed.
Chen Dasheng smiled. "Didn't you want to see me humiliated? Now you can see it up close. Isn't that what you wanted?"
"Want my sister to see it? If anything happens to me, I'll haunt you!" Liu Yunshi pinched Chen Dasheng again.
"Ouch... try that again!"
"I will, I will!"
---
He Liang watched the two "flirt" with a smile. After about half an hour, Black-clad Ah Biao returned, carrying a black garbage bag, which he threw on the mahjong table.
"Brother Liang, two hundred thousand!" Ah Biao wiped the sweat from his forehead, clearly having run back.
He Liang nodded, poured the money out of the bag, and counted it. There were twenty stacks, and Chen Dasheng's eyes lit up at the sight of so much money.
Although the light in his eyes was fleeting, it was caught by the sharp-eyed He Liang. He had thought Chen Dasheng was a hidden expert, but now he saw him as a country bumpkin who had never seen money. He Liang no longer took Chen Dasheng seriously.
