Turning her head, Liu Yunshi couldn't help but feel delighted. Standing behind her was Chen Dasheng, reeking of alcohol.

"Hey, we agreed to watch a movie this afternoon, and you didn't even tell me you were out! I had a hard time finding you!!" Chen Dasheng pretended to be angry as he looked at Liu Yunshi.

Lin Yu and Huang Ying were only acquaintances, not close friends, and he only knew they were Liu Yunshi's best friends. Liu Yunshi hadn't explained clearly over the phone, so he didn't know what had happened. "Oh, I was having dinner with a friend and accidentally forgot!" Liu Yunshi immediately understood and stood up, intimately holding Chen Dasheng's hand. She said to Lin Yu and the others, "Sorry, I forgot about our date. You guys keep chatting, I'll leave first!"

Everyone was stunned, completely unprepared for this turn of events. Lin Yu and Huang Ying were especially dumbfounded. Was this person Liu Yunshi's boyfriend? They felt so familiar with Chen Dasheng but couldn't remember where they had seen him. Shen Tao's face, however, turned very interesting. This deal might be in trouble today.

Just as Liu Yunshi was about to leave with Chen Dasheng, a sharp voice stopped them, drawing the attention of almost everyone in the restaurant.

Chen Dasheng turned around, and Hu Bing stood up from his seat, looking at him angrily.

"Who are you? What's your relationship with her?" His tone was full of anger and a sense of condescension.

Chen Dasheng frowned and asked, "Sir, are you talking to me?"

"Is there anyone else?" Hu Bing said angrily.

Chen Dasheng couldn't help but laugh lightly. "I don't even know you. Why should I tell you about my relationship with her? Who are you?"

"You!" Hu Bing was taken aback by the question and turned to Shen Tao, shouting, "Shen Tao, you need to give me a reasonable explanation!"

Faced with Hu Bing's anger, Shen Tao panicked and immediately stood up, raising his voice to Liu Yunshi, "Shishi, what's going on here?"

Liu Yunshi, who didn't like Shen Tao to begin with, was now even more annoyed. "What's going on? Can't you see? My boyfriend came to pick me up for a movie!"

"Boyfriend? Shishi, is he your boyfriend? Why didn't you tell me?" Lin Yu was flustered.

Liu Yunshi was speechless. "Please, Lin Yu, you set me up for a blind date without even asking me. And you had ulterior motives, introducing me to someone like this?"

When Liu Yunshi said this, Lin Yu felt a bit wronged. "Shishi, I really had your best interests at heart. Besides, Manager Hu isn't bad. He's a procurement manager at a big company, with an annual salary of 500,000!"

Lin Yu sized up Chen Dasheng and suddenly remembered. Wasn't this the guy who shared an apartment with Liu Yunshi? When did they get together? Could Liu Yunshi have brought him here as a shield?

Liu Yunshi was speechless. "Lin Yu, I know you mean well, but Mr. Hu really isn't my type. And don't bring up the 500,000 annual salary. I don't want this to affect our friendship!"

She then said to Hu Bing, "I'm sorry, Mr. Hu. It was a misunderstanding. I have no interest in your karate. You guys keep chatting!"

"Yunshi, Manager Hu took time out of his busy schedule to have this meal with us. Don't ruin the mood. Since you're here, why don't you sit down and eat with us?" Lin Yu seemed to realize Liu Yunshi was acting and tried to salvage the situation.

Chen Dasheng said, "No need. I've already eaten, and I'm not interested in those clumps of black, sticky things. I won't disturb you."

The "clumps" were rice balls, and the "black, sticky things" were seaweed rolls. Chen Dasheng's words carried a hint of disdain.

"Where do you work, friend?" Hu Bing gritted his teeth, clearly unwilling to let them leave.

He had felt quite good about Liu Yunshi. She was beautiful, had a great figure, and most importantly, hadn't had a boyfriend. But now, a man claiming to be her boyfriend had appeared, which he couldn't accept. His pride was severely hurt.

"That's 'The loyal are often butchers, the unfaithful are often scholars!'" Chen Dasheng corrected him with a smile. This guy clearly didn't understand but liked to show off, which was quite amusing.

Hu Bing glared at Chen Dasheng and continued, "Yes, that's it. Many young people today seek thrills and fall in love passionately, but when they enter society and face various temptations, how many can resist?"

"What do you mean?" Chen Dasheng frowned, Hu Bing's slightly effeminate tone making him itchy.

Hu Bing's lips curled. "Nothing. I just want to test your love for Miss Liu. How about this: name your price. How much will it take for you to leave Miss Liu?"

Hu Bing's eyes were filled with disdain. He believed money could do anything, and from Chen Dasheng's appearance, he was clearly poor. He was sure such a poor guy couldn't resist the lure of money. If he couldn't have her, he'd rather break them up.

Everyone held their breath. Knowing Liu Yunshi, they expected her to explode. But after a moment, she didn't react, just leaning affectionately on Chen Dasheng.

"Wow? Mr. Hu, you seem quite wealthy. I heard them call you 'Manager.' What big company are you from?" Chen Dasheng was amused.

"Mr. Hu is the procurement manager at Rongfa Real Estate!" Shen Tao said with a serious face, emphasizing the name of the company, which was one of the top companies in Rongcheng. Being a department manager there was no small feat.

"Rongfa Real Estate?" Chen Dasheng was taken aback. Damn, it was Liu Hao's family. If he had known, he would have brought Liu Hao in.

Seeing Chen Dasheng stunned, Hu Bing's face showed a satisfied smile. He thought Chen Dasheng was intimidated by his status. "Speak up, name your price. As long as it's not excessive, I'll give it to you!"

Hearing Hu Bing's background, Chen Dasheng decided to play along. He looked at Liu Yunshi and smiled. "Last time, someone offered 100,000. I was about to take it, but they backed out. I think you can't offer less than 100,000, right?"

Liu Yunshi had been expecting Chen Dasheng's response, but his words made her want to laugh and cry.

Chen Dasheng's words made Hu Bing laugh. He looked at Liu Yunshi and said, "100,000? See, Miss Liu, you're only worth 100,000 to him. Do you think he has any good qualities?"

Hu Bing turned to Chen Dasheng, looking at him with disdain, as if he were a clown. "If you leave Miss Liu, I'll give you 500,000 immediately!"

He held up five fingers, feeling very generous, manly, and rich, eagerly waiting to see Chen Dasheng's greedy look.

Unfortunately, Chen Dasheng ignored him, holding Liu Yunshi's shoulder and smiling. "Looks like you're only worth 500,000 to this guy!"

Liu Yunshi smiled. "Wait until you can sell for 10 million, then you can let go. But from the look of this big manager, he doesn't have that much money!"

"Even if he had that much money, you're not worth it!" Chen Dasheng laughed.

"Miss Liu, this man is selling you, and you're not angry?" Hu Bing looked at the two of them, who were flirting, as if they were monsters, his eyes almost popping out.

"Of course I'm angry. I'll deal with him later!" Liu Yunshi laughed and gave Chen Dasheng a playful glare.

Hu Bing slammed the table, the two of them openly showing affection in front of him, igniting his anger. It was infuriating, a clear case of an adulterous couple.

"Who's barking?" Chen Dasheng frowned, his smiling face turning dark.

"What did you say? Say it again if you dare."

Having studied in Japan for a long time, Hu Bing had blurted out the Japanese phrase in anger. Chen Dasheng's words only fueled his anger, and he stood up, storming toward Chen Dasheng.

"What? Want to fight?" Chen Dasheng glared back, undaunted.

"Just you?" Hu Bing pointed at Chen Dasheng and laughed contemptuously. A young punk wanting to fight a karate expert like him was a joke. Even if they fought, Chen Dasheng would only get beaten.
