Clearly, the ball that just flew by was thrown by Shuyunlong! Chendasheng's face turned somewhat grim. He hadn't even provoked Shuyunlong, yet this guy dared to provoke him, truly not knowing the consequences. Chendasheng didn't believe for a moment that Shuyunlong had thrown the ball by accident!
"Damn, don't you have eyes?" Shuyunlong had even hit the teacher. This was a serious offense. Before Chendasheng could react, Guohui stood up and started yelling at Shuyunlong.
Shuyunlong's eyebrows instantly furrowed, and he was about to lash out, but with so many eyes on him, he had to suppress his anger and quickly ran over.
Seeing the changing expressions on Shuyunlong's face, Chendasheng's lips curled into a smile. He whispered something in Huangjiang's ear, making Huangjiang's face turn increasingly dark.
"Teacher Huang, are you okay?"
Huangjiang was well-known in the school, and many people recognized him. When Shuyunlong saw that the person he had hit was Huangjiang, his face turned extremely pale. He glared at Chendasheng and quickly put on a smiling face, hoping that his reputation as a top student would make Huangjiang overlook the incident.
"Shuyunlong, what's wrong with you? Did I ever provoke you? How could you throw a basketball at me?" Huangjiang was furious, suppressing his anger. Anyone would be angry to be hit so unexpectedly.
Compared to Huangjiang's robust build, Shuyunlong was like a chick. The anger in Huangjiang's voice, combined with his well-defined muscles, made Shuyunlong feel intimidated.
Although Huangjiang usually had a good temper, when he got angry, he could be terrifying. Shuyunlong stammered, "Teacher Huang, it's all a misunderstanding. I was just... trying to shoot a basket..."
He glanced at Chendasheng, who was smirking triumphantly. Shuyunlong felt a surge of anger and glared at Chendasheng with a murderous look. He quickly stopped himself, knowing he couldn't say that he had aimed at Chendasheng and accidentally hit Huangjiang. That would make things even worse.
So, Shuyunlong quickly changed his words, "I really just missed the shot while trying to shoot a basket!"
Chendasheng couldn't help but laugh, "Shuyunlong, that's a pretty weak excuse, isn't it? Missing a shot? It's over thirty meters from the basketball court to here. How could you miss by that much?"
"Maybe his eyesight is bad, and he mistook Teacher Huang's forehead for the hoop!" Guohui chimed in, egging Chendasheng on.
Listening to Chendasheng and Guohui's taunts, Shuyunlong's anger boiled over. If it weren't for Huangjiang's presence, he would have exploded. Now, he could only suppress his anger, his face turning red like a liver.
Chendasheng smiled, "Shuyunlong, Teacher Huang is such a decent person. How could you offend him? Even if you did offend him, you shouldn't use such extreme methods!"
"You!" Chendasheng looked so righteous, and Shuyunlong clenched his fists in anger, wishing he could beat Chendasheng up.
Earlier, Chendasheng was playing badminton, and Shuyunlong felt inexplicable anger when he saw him. Without thinking, he threw the basketball at Chendasheng, hoping to teach him a lesson. But he never expected the ball to suddenly change direction and hit Huangjiang, who was nearby.
Shuyunlong quickly put on a smile and tried to help Huangjiang, "Teacher Huang, don't listen to them. I really didn't mean to!"
"Hmph, you didn't mean to?" Even a clay Buddha has a temper, and Huangjiang was no fool. How could a basketball fly from the basketball court to the badminton court if it wasn't intentional? He coldly waved his hand and pointed at Shuyunlong, "Shuyunlong, I'll talk to your homeroom teacher. You need to give me a reasonable explanation!"
"Ah!"
Huangjiang's face turned bitter, a classic case of "trying to gain a small advantage but ending up with a big loss." Shuyunlong finally understood this saying.
"Teacher Huang, calm down. Let's take you to the infirmary!" Chendasheng, now playing the good guy, said with a concerned look, though he was secretly delighted.
Huangjiang didn't say much, just nodded at Chendasheng, glared at Shuyunlong, and let Chendasheng and Guohui help him to the school infirmary.
Chendasheng turned and gave Shuyunlong a contemptuous look. Shuyunlong's face was as red as a liver, and his hatred for Chendasheng reached its peak.
Before the English class in the afternoon, Shuyunlong, unable to hold back, had his friend Wang Hai deliver a message to Chendasheng, telling him to meet him on the playground in the evening.
Chendasheng just smiled. He knew Shuyunlong had probably gathered some people to beat him up. In the past, he might have been afraid, but now, he just saw them as a bunch of guys looking for a beating.

After the class ended at five.
"Chendasheng, come to my office later!" When most of the students had left, Liu Xiaomin, as usual, invited Chendasheng.
Chendasheng shrugged, "Sorry, I have a date. Maybe another time?"
"A date?" Liu Xiaomin gave Chendasheng a strange look and then nodded, "Okay, how about tomorrow evening?"
Chendasheng nodded.
"Tomorrow evening, then!" Liu Xiaomin packed up her things and left, swaying her hips.
"Damn, Brother Dasheng, it seems our beautiful teacher really has a thing for you!" Guohui smacked his lips and asked curiously, "Bro, share some tips. What do you do in the office every day?"
"Get lost!" Chendasheng spat at Guohui, "Can't you think of anything clean?"
Guohui grinned, then turned serious, "Shuyunlong is definitely planning to beat you up. Are you going?"
"What do you think?" Chendasheng smiled nonchalantly.
"How should I know?" Guohui was speechless, "If you go, I can find a couple of guys to back you up!"
"Forget it. Didn't you learn your lesson last time?" Chendasheng smiled faintly, cracked his joints, and said, "Let's find a restaurant. We need to eat to have the strength to beat people up!"
Guohui was taken aback, remembering the incident at Rongxiang Teahouse. He had called many friends, but only Chendasheng had shown up. Although they later gave various excuses, Guohui still felt deeply moved.
True friendship is only revealed in times of crisis. Guohui was determined to stand by Chendasheng, especially since he had seen Chendasheng's skills at Rongxiang Teahouse. He didn't think Chendasheng would lose.
The two left the classroom, arm in arm, laughing and chatting as if nothing had happened.

Just after eight, the night had fallen.
On the playground, some students were still playing basketball under the lights, exuding a vibrant and positive youth spirit. However, in the darker corners, the atmosphere was not so harmonious.
The edges of the playground, especially the bushes, were popular spots for couples. Many hormone-driven young men and women would gather there to whisper sweet nothings, kiss, and explore each other's bodies.
"Damn, do these couples even have money for a hotel room?"
"Women these days have no self-respect. Damn, even the cabbage is being eaten by pigs!"
Guohui, picking his teeth, followed Chendasheng to the playground. Seeing the dimly lit couples, he muttered curses.
"Ha, you're just jealous. You can't get what you want, so you say it's sour grapes!" Chendasheng laughed, remembering his own days of being in the same situation.
---
"Brother Long, why isn't that guy here yet? Is he standing us up?"
In the southeast corner of the playground, near the teaching building, under a dim streetlight, a group of over ten people gathered. One of them, wearing a baseball cap and holding a straw, complained to Shuyunlong.
Shuyunlong sat on a stone bench, with a woman in a yellow dress beside him. They were being affectionate, and if Chendasheng were there, he would recognize her as his ex-girlfriend, Li Lan.
Shuyunlong laughed, "Standing me up? That just proves he's a coward!"
He was clearly saying this for Li Lan's benefit. Her face stiffened, and she said, "Maybe we should just forget it. Chendasheng is from the countryside. Bullying him isn't..."
Before she could finish, Shuyunlong frowned, and Li Lan, who was good at reading people, quickly shut up.
Shuyunlong had brought her to the playground, saying he had a surprise for her. She thought he was up to something bad, but it turned out he wanted to confront Chendasheng.
She had dated Chendasheng for five years, and it was impossible to have no feelings for him. She wanted to leave, as seeing Chendasheng would be awkward, but Shuyunlong wouldn't let her go, insisting she stay to watch.
